I thought K1 had a restriction on how many models a single Baseitem can have, and I always thought that it was 250 models for each Baseitem? The 2da limitation in K1 limits how many UPGRADEABLE lightsabers you can have but if you're creating/interchanging lightsabers from a dlg file from your Saber workshop that shouldn't be an issue.

Try placing this file in the Override folder: k_swg_hk47fix.ncs

I like your skin so far, especially the blue lights! But in K1 there's an awkward placeable limit, as stated here which you should be wary about.

When SpaceAlex designed this mod he didn't want to use the module folders, he wanted everything to be within the override folder where possible. I've played multiple playthroughs of his mod and it always amazes me how much content is in it. IIRC only Korriban, the Unknown World and the Star Forge wasn't covered by his mod. The biggest bugs were certain modules spawning the same NPCs twice or having other strange effects but it was never anything game breaking. His goal was to make K1 feel more alive by adding more NPCs in certain areas, add a better diversification of items and appearances, enhance the battles and also adding different/better choices to completing certain parts of the game. He's also added a better hierarchy to the various factions, like the Mandalorians, Dark Jedi + the Wookies. It certainly isn't just an appearance overhaul! Czerka, Twileks, Armor, Commoner clothing reskins are my personal favourites. But I'd first change the unique characters, then the commoners or background NPCs in the areas like: Taris - Taris Nobles, Kashyyk - Wookies etc. It wouldn't be difficult to make a complete overhaul of most of the games characters with what he's already released, it would require a lot of extracting and messing around with .UTC files with the KGFF tool though.

It is pretty awkward for modding haha. It's annoying not being able to have BOS / K1R together as it's definitely the placeables.2da file causing the problem.

So this why I had issue with a newly added computer panel in BOS when I played it alongside K1R, thanks for clearing this up! I've used placeables.2da in some of my own mods, puts me off using it now for K1 haha. But like the upgrade.2da can't you get around this by placing dummy lines within the .2da file to be able to add more of your own lines in the .2da file? Please see the below as an example for the upgrade.2da file that corpsecotillion typed out here: "In a thread from a couple years ago (http://deadlystream....ghtsaber +addon), Rece discovered that the upgrade.2da file does this weird thing where after row 31 it wraps back around to row 1, so any crystal you put in row 32 onward will change to a different crystal when you hit the assemble button. The good news is that there is a workaround, but it requires using filler rows. After some serious experimentation I was able to get 14 custom upgrade crystals to work in my game, but any more than that and you'll end up with the crystal changing phenomenon again. Without changing any vanilla upgrade rows, you can only add 7 of your custom crystals to rows 25-31, and then additionally you can add 7 more to rows 27-53. That means rows 32-46 are filler. Type whatever you want into first two columns. It really doesn't matter what you put; the rows simply need to exist as placeholders. Set the upgradetype column to anything EXCEPT 0 so it doesn't interfere with the other upgrade crystals."

I now have a problem where the guy on the phone said they have Founders Edition and that they sell Palit / Zotac GPUs. But the support team say they sell aftermarket cards and that they aren't Founders Edition. Confusing. Here's some info on "Aftermarket cards". I actually use a lot of USB ports for various different reasons. I have 2 x 8TB Seagate External Harddrives, 1 x 2TB Seagate External Harddrive and a 250GB External Harddrive (I have 150GBs worth of Kotor files copied on all of them 'cause I'm that weird about collecting and not losing the mods!). A Xbox gaming PC controller. A wireless mouse and a keyboard. I have recently bought a PS4 Pro for the playing of BLU-RAY movies. The DVD Drive is for games and software etc. You've really got me paranoid about my Graphics Card now haha. The founders edition are more expensive than the rest aren't they? Is that why you advised not getting it because it's Overpriced? And... why do people get two Graphics Cards? And do you know if I'll be able to install another one and maybe another internal SSD card in the future with my PC case?

You had me until Modkit lol. I'm still not completely understanding the Creation Club thing for Skyrim. Looks like a commercialised version of modding.

Everyone please be aware I've took all your advice and have made a few amendments of my original post regarding your suggestions. I'm about to give them a call on installing the OS on the SSD Drive and if their Graphics cards are founders edition or not. I'll be back Edit: They stated that their graphics cards are by Palit / Zotac. Is that bad?

Thanks for the advice DeadMan, some really good posts about tools but I doubt I'll delve into actually modding it until my Kotor projects are completed lol. I'll quickly scoop up all the mods I can find then. I did have Skyrim on PS4 and they didn't allow mods that went past modifying existing data or something like that. Whereas Xbox allowed all mods which was strange. Are incompatibilities an issue with either games?

Also, it says I'm unable to have a DVD/Blu-Ray Drive does that mean I'll be unable to play disks :S

I have now ordered a 500GB SSD card instead of 250GB. If I fill that up should I buy a larger SSD drive in the future? Apologies have I got a better PSU than I need? Or do I need to upgrade? Won't the OS come installed on the SSD or do I have to move the files across? Gaming monitor it is then!!
