  1. Actually it seems like whatever I did with the texture packs may not have screwed up my game because even though it initially started working again, now it's back to sending me back to freezing and playing the main menu. Which doesn't make any sense because I literally didn't change anything before or since then. This game hates me.
  2. Interesting. What is a plc_invisible.utp and why is that bad? It was added by the Sleheyron mod, actually 😬 Speaking of, hard crashing still happens when trying to enter Bogga's cantina as well, even when removing plc_invisible.utp. I am giving you a list of texture mods I have too, these are the ones that change appearance.2da and heads.2da or anything else particular (which I'll mention), all the rest are just copy and paste to override which you already looked through. Belaya, Helena, Xor and HK-47 work fine and are unrelated to affect anything mentioned here, and JC's Back in Black and Cloaked Jedi mods (as well as your patch) I installed after any crashing issues already happened especially the Kashyyyk one, and have all been working well. I don't know if anything in Sith Uniform Reformation Revised would affect the crashes like in Great Walkway at all, as you checked and saw in the module that the Sith there weren't changed except for I assume one of NDrew's NPC pack's changes. I doubt it's Unused Heads either but I'm attaching my heads.2da as well so you can check. heads.2da The only other one I listed here which is the particularly odd one out is the Optimized and Upscaled Textures pack which replaces the "swpc_tex_gui.erf" and "swpc_tex_tpa.erf" files. I tried replacing the files with their originals from the clean install but doing so seems to break my entire game and it fails to load-transition to any new modules after the first one. This happened even when I started a new game. I should say this is not a hard crash but getting frozen mid loading or even before that and playing the main menu music. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the crashing, however I don't think a module would crash in the middle if it already finished loading all the textures, and I remember an old install of mine, without these files, similarly hard crashing in places like the Endar Spire, which caused me to abandon that old playthrough from the beginning. I'm inclined to try an installation without Sleheyron, but since there's nothing in that mod that affects the module in question and since the mod creator also tested the same module and ran into no issues, I don't think that's going to solve it. Could it be that it's the amount of mods that are causing this?
  3. Thanks for the input. I hope it will be helpful, so I should say that whenever I try to do Sleheyron the crashes are far more frequent, and I cannot load into Bogga's cantina ("liv_m99ac.mod" or "slemf99.mod"). (It used to hard crash when trying to enter it, now it seems to freeze during loading and play the main menu music--so far for me that meant an appearance.2da issue or a corrupt save file but the difference here may just be the warping and the issue still with something else, a conflict in that module that prevents it from loading? Compatibility mode hasn't worked either. I've so far completed Dantooine, Tatooine, and Korriban, and I'm waiting to do Sleheyron before Manaan as from what I've gathered your mod seems to affect Manaan most (albeit together with the Pazaak Tournament mod). Which means I can't progress due to the crash at Great Walkway. Some extra information: Killing a Terentatek also causes the game to always hard crash, however quicksaving as soon as the Terentatek dies allows me to pick up from where I left off. I also tried adding Force Jump to my character through Savegame Editor, but the game still crashes when I reach the Kinrath/Mykal swarm, I guess since I've crossed that threshold. Would that mean that I can't access the rest of the module at all?? Totally lost about this.
  4. Thanks, here they are. Also fixed the links above. (should I add the texture mods as well? they're all just tpc and tga files, and txi, mdx, mdl etc. for models) kas_m22aa.mod placeables.2da dir.txt
  5. It just automatically happened and I didn't think much of it. I can do that at the first convenience if the problem isn't resolved. My bad. appearance.2da Here's my appearance.2da file True, I just got used to saying PAL in regards to DVD and TV I guess. European I should clarify. Thanks for the reply!
  6. Hello everyone, I've been going through a new playthrough of KOTOR recently, and hit a really critical bug. NDrew probably already knows the issues I ran into already, but this late one happens right after the encounter with the Czerka slavers who have killed the Wookiee, in the large walkway that leads you to your first encounters with the Mykals. So I uninstalled and reinstalled everything--4CD install (PAL), 1.03 patch, widescreen patches, new 4K movies, community patch, latest versions of every mod, and weeded out some redundant or conflicting mods. And as I suspected, the far fresher install seems to have the mods all working together well. However, even when I start a new game, the issue persists. Just to check, I started a completely new game, warped to the same location, and still the issue persists in the exact same location. The game also inconsistently crashes after battles, conversations, when I switch to the player/character attributes screen or just randomly, so I've been playing the game so far just crazily saving and quicksaving. It hasn't been THAT annoyingly frequent, thankfully. But in places like the Kinrath Cave at Dantooine for example, saving and reloading to progress between the crashes was especially annoying, but I did it. However, this Great Walkway crash is consistent, and saving and loading around it, as if I save close or at the crash area, the save just does not load either and crashes the game. I thought it might be an issue playing at 4K, but downscaling does not fix the problem either. But when I play vanilla, new game, warp over to that location, the game does not crash, so it's definitely a mod issue. But what mod is causing both the inconsistent crashing and the Great Walkway crash I have no idea. I'll be listing my mods below, but I have no idea what the issue might be. I wondered if it might be "party conversations" trying to trigger but the "party conversations at the ebon hawk" mod screwing it up, but to test it I tried to continue without any party members at the great walkway but it still crashes at the same location. QUESTION--I heard something about "placeables" causing problems but I have no idea what that is, is it something about how too many additions or changes to the modules can cause problems in the game or something? I have a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700F processor, 32 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and 64 bit operating system. Here are my mods and the links to them--consistent to the order I installed them: And a lot of simple texture mods. I just seem to be stuck with this godawful crash, unable to figure out which mods are causing these problems, even with a completely fresh reinstall and healthy mod installation the issue persists. Am I just not allowed to play this anymore lmao. Well, jokes aside I would really appreciate the help on this!
  7. Turns out my issue was installing K2 Community Patch by accident thinking it was K1CP. That's why the tweak pack ran into 48 errors. Problem solved. Sorry to be a bother!
  8. Okay, that makes like zero sense, I have no idea how that happened. Ah, I’ll investigate tomorrow 😓 thanks again, lol
  9. Yikes, you're right. Aside from the modules added by mods, I'm missing every MOD file. Below is all I have. That's so odd. Supposedly, that was a clean install. But I guess I have to reinstall with the discs. That's probably going to be for the best. Sorry to be such a bother.
  10. Hi, since my last install and playthrough became a buggy mess, I decided to reinstall my game and mods, and so far have installed only unrelated 4k widescreen mods/text size/loading screens, PC Response Moderation, Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement (these being the only ones recommended to install before K1CP and RC-K1CP), and the "Higher Quality Textures", "Persuade Fixes," and "Regeneration" of the override mods of this same mod pack. With this information there shouldn't be any issues with installing the newest version of the "Main Bug Fixes". However, my log shows 48 errors: installlog.txt Is this normal? Should I go ahead with installing other mods?
  11. My bad, her direct input was my thought but you're right, I can leave that up to the modder I'm reporting to. Yes, they're the same install. Odd. I don't think I have NPC Overhaul mod in this install, if my memory serves me right Sasha was never an outcast child in my previous playthroughs that used to have NPC Overhaul. I have no idea about the armor though. Might be worth a test maybe?
  12. Quick little compatibility report on my part. I'm using @Leilukin's Twi'lek Diversity mod which I believe, though correct me if I'm wrong, you've provided compatibility for in most of your mods, however, Lur Arka Sulas looks different on Dantooine and on the Ebon Hawk for me, and in my search I've found the only other mod that changes Lur Arka Sulas seems to be RC-K1CP. Again, I'm not sure if this is an issue on my end or with the mods. Here's an excerpt from the installation log for RC-K1CP: For that matter, I am confused about the order of many of these mods. Could you provide an order to install the following (after K1CP and RC-K1CP of course): Better Male Twi'lek Heads (slim neck and original neck versions), K1 Twi'lek Male NPC Diversity, your NPC packs (NPC Diversity, K1 Alien Pack, Galaxy of Faces), and Senni Vek Mod?
  13. My apologies, you are right, I was missing lyv_shinybeamb.tpc (God knows why!) and redownloading the mod and adding it to override made the error go away. I seem to have overwritten the installog afterwards by installing the visible force field option. But I ran a test install to an empty folder (after reimporting lyv_shinybeamb, which is what the installer complained about, not the other one) and here's what happened: installlog.rtf Seems like I was also missing "CM_WK_YavHgrBm.tpc", and I've completely misread both warnings. This was totally my bad. Perhaps there were remnants of a past version? In any case I'm replacing the entire mod folder now! Again, sorry for wasting your time!
  14. Just want to report a small bug, when I load into the module I get this error: Which is odd considering the file in override is "lyv_shinybeam.tpc" (with no "b" at the end), and the installer doesn't mention it (but does mention not being able to find "lyv_shinybeam.tpc" plus "CM_WK_YAVHGR.tpc"--but both are in my override no problem. I don't know what this error fails to load but the game runs fine and I've had no issues in my first visit to Yavin. Should probably mention that I also have the latest Sleheyron Story mode and K1 Alien Pack (Trandoshans) both of which seem to adjust "liv_m99aa.mod", but the error doesn't seem to be connected to that, although that may be just ignorance on my part. Anyway, hope this helps!
  15. Yup, here you go. We all know there are two Bolooks: orange and green. Maybe this is the evil twin finally embracing the dark side, lol
  16. Oops! Well. I guess that's the curse of having a lot of mods. Higher likelihood of conflicts and the pain of going through backups because of it! Lol. Fortunately my second and third installations were some of the last ones I did, and I have my backups, so I don't think restoring it to that point should be too hard. Thanks for the information!
  17. Seems like I have a similar issue, but instead of the commoner robes Bolook is wearing Dark Jedi Robes for some reason, even with the older Bolook patch--checked with loading a save before entering the grove.
  18. @N-DReW25@SAO1138 FYI since you have talked about issues regarding restoring Shuma in RC-K1CP before and I'm tagging both of you here because N-DreW25 had implied it was an issue caused by the Sleheyron mod. I seem to have ended up with a weirder (and funnier) bug where there's three Shumas, and they are all fully interactible: I am wondering if it is because of running the mod installer multiple times? But I doubt that the patcher works by just adding and not overwriting.
  19. Just as an FYI there seems to be an issue, the Apartment Duros doesn't seem to have a consistent appearance. He appears correctly at the Sith Base: But at the apartments he sports his default look: I scoured through the install logs, change.ini files, backups, adjacent mods, but I can't seem to figure out the issue. When installing Galaxy of Faces Unique Duros, I get two errors: This doesn't seem to be related to Apartment Duros, because the file that's missing is "N_CommM11.tpc" though it is in the Duros folder / Unique Duros install option. There is one in my override folder though and looks to be the non-potato sack commoner outfit. So this doesn't seem to be the issue. The mods that affect tar_m02aa.mod and tar_m09aa.mod are Alien Pack, NPC Diversity, Heyorange's mod and Better Twi'lek Heads, but in the context of this one Duros the latter two mods are unrelated, as for Alien Pack the options were Bith and Devaronian and again does not seem to affect this, and checking NPC Diversity's change.ini file it also doesn't seem to change anything regarding the Duros. So there might be an issue with the mod itself, just wanted to let you know. For now I opted to remove N_ApDurH01.tga from my Override for consistency.
  20. I just got this error when updating the mod on my existing installation (previous version was 0.6.1). Hoped there would be no errors if I used TSLPatcher, and hopefully it's not a conflict. How could I troubleshoot? Or will I be fine?
  21. For anyone who wants to install Dustil Restoration, I recommend backing up 711KOR.mod, appearance.2da and the other 2da/global/etc. critical game files beforehand, and installing the mod LAST. I ran into the same problems that @Berethor and Stallion Renier did, and I wasn't able to fully fix it, but I was able to uninstall it since I installed the mod after everything else. Just in case someone's interested and has other mods, especially ones modifying the Korriban Tomb like NPC Overhaul or Lonna Vash Mod for TSLRCM.
  22. Apologies for bumping this thread after almost two years, but I just wanted to update what I've found about the glitch since I started it and my "solution". So after reinstalling everything with TSLRCM 1.8.6 recently for another playthrough, I ran into the same issue. I looked it up and discovered that the issue was Dustil Restoration by @Fallen Guardian, and I wasn't the only one who ran into the issue, even though the mod was reportedly compatible with other Korriban mods. I saw this discussion in the comments of that mod: So I attempted to do the same; I couldn't figure out how to do what they did with KOTOR Tool, so I also reinstalled the whole game and all the mods and installed Dustil Restoration last. On the one hand, the Locked Door was gone, the Dustil cutscene played, and I was able to proceed to the Dark Exile/Revan fight. On the other hand, I ran into a different problem--the custcene with Revan played but there was no Dark Exile to fight, and whenever I talked to "Revan" the cutscene would replay, another Dustil would appear behind me, and the game would softlock--a similar issue to what @Berethor ran into as he mentioned above. Fortunately since I installed Dustil Restoration last, I was able to uninstall it easily. Although I had to reinstall anything changing the Korriban Tomb, particularly @Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul's Korriban Tomb section and @Leilukin's new Lonna Vash Mod for TSLRCM, everything worked out fine in the end. As much as I enjoyed the mod in old playthroughs, it was a sacrifice that I was fine with. Storywise, it distracts from the Exile's trials and inner conflict anyway, in my opinion of course, but I'm going off topic. For anyone who wants to install Dustil Restoration, I recommend backing up 711KOR.mod, appearance.2da and the other 2da/global/etc. critical game files beforehand, and installing the mod LAST. Just in case anyone has a similar problem and stumbles upon this thread
