    Never expected to be doing this, but as one-half of a homework assignment for Game Design class, I just ended up writing about the different functional and cosmetic attributes that you can modify in TSL's character creation.

    Oh wow... I just realized that the TSL playthrough I finished a few days ago had been in progress since August 2015...

      If you and others think it would be entertaining, I could start over and record a video version instead. Only did most of Taris so far, which took just 2 and a half hours, so not too much loss.

      You could use video to punctuate portions that just text won't provide. Small clips. There are plenty of LP's out there. Doing a mix might be more unique. However, the choice should be yours as you're the fella doing it! ;)

    I mostly like Kaidon Jorn's SLM mod... but when it adds a boss that can heal >300 health with one Death Field cast, and sometimes casts it twice in a round, it gets to be a bit much...

      Yeah, it adds several bosses that are waaaaay more powerful than anything you encounter ingame, which feels totally out of place to me.

      I found one way to work around it... incapacitate the OP bosses using mod-added Force powers that can't be resisted ;)

    Playing with Impossible difficulty does have its annoying times... like when two times in a row I die within five minutes to a single rakghoul. It's really killed my enthusiasm for playing KOTOR at the moment.

      Hm, I believe that last time I ended up changing the difficulty to a non-impossible level for the Sith Governor. Well, for this time, we'll have to wait and see whether I can get past this rakghoul first!

    I said two months ago that I might start modding, and I haven't gotten anywhere yet... I get the feeling this is going to always be the case.

      I agree with SH. Taking on large projects by yourself, that takes a lot of time, will tend to overwhelm you at times. Small projects with less time consuming effort is the key.

    Spring semester of college finished! I think that without any school for the summer, I might try to start modding.

    Now expanding my mod (installing) horizons to Skyrim. The presence of various utilities for that purpose helps out a lot.

    Everybody's speculating on Luke's absence from the trailers for the new trilogy, but my question is: What about Leia and the droids?

      I thought we've ween seen a glimpse of Leia a few times. I feel like the droids act as some form of messenger between wherever Luke is located and the rest.
