  1. I want to say that the idea with a lightsaber availability for Canderous and Light/Dark side shift for Juhani is just a brilliant idea. Ideally if Juhani could stay with Lord Revan and not die, but this is not the case of this mod, I understand! At any rate, cool!
  2. I hope you guys saw the new episode of the Book of Boba Fett and are as hyped as I am! Ahem, anyways, back to the topic. I've decided to make uniforms of the Onderon officers and soldiers of the same colour. As a result, all the soldiers will have blue uniforms instead of the red, however, I didn't touch other red/pink elements like piping or rank bar. After changing the "armoured" variation I did the "ordinary" one. I've added the same elements that I did to the armored one, the only difference is the belt, absence of the armor and regiment stripe on the uniform itself. And lastly, I've added code-bar to the chest. As a result it looks like this: Armored Uniform: Ordinary Uniform: What do you guys think? Does it look better then the original one?
  3. Regarding Onderon Military project I played a bit with a soldier texture to make a proper "armoured" variation - Added Onderon insignia from the cap texture to the chest (so that every soldier will get one 😃 ) - Added black armor with white plate to the front and back side of the uniform. I decided to add a shoulder pad for it. - Added long awaited (for me al least) belt with with a buckle - Added a fix for the texture part where neck connects to the body (the original texture had very simple one) Original Fixed - Added regiment stripe. For the reference I used the Onderon insignia from the flag I thought about soldier rank system and decided to do it like this (to stay as vanilla as possible): The next step will be to modify non-armoured soldier uniform and then I will move to the officer uniforms
  4. Hi! Thanks) Well, I'm thinking about adding the same sith uniforms to the Kotor 2. Aside from that there is a Reformation Uniform project for Onderon military. I don't know if I'm going to do the same for Republic soldiers though
  5. As I expected the problem was that in the appearance.2da file Onderon soldiers and officers had no value for the clothing texture (texb field). As a result, I edited appearance.2da for them: For soldiers, labels: Onderon_Soldier_Mal_01 - Onderon_Soldier_Mal_06 and Onderon_Soldier_Mal_Masked - texture N_OndSoldM For officers, labels: Onderon_Officer_Mal_01 - Onderon_Officer_Mal_05 - texture N_OndOffM For Colonel Tobin, label: Unique_Colonel_Tobin - texture N_OndOffM2 For General Vaklu, label: Unique_General_Vaklu- texture N_OndOffM3
  6. For now I made only the version with gloves. But I will try to make the gloveless version too, when I will have time)

The textures were taken from "JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes & Supermodel Port for K1 1.4" file The credit regarding everything else in these textures goes to JCarter426 This mod is divided into 3 parts like the original modification. The only difference is that all of the robe textures which are used are in gloves. - 100% Brown - Brown-Red-Blue - Brown-Red-Blue Alternative All the textures in this modification are in the .tpc format so that they may override textures from "JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1" modification. 9. Hi ebmar! Thanks! Regarding your concern towards .utc files and TSLPatcher: As far as I understand, there are 2 times of the .utc files (if we are talking about NPCs of course) which are global and modular. While creating this modification I tried to avoid using utc files of the global NPCs because by using them and adding them in the Override directory will break the cutscenes in the game (because the same npcs in the cutscenes should be friendly to the player while in the other modules they are hostile). I made lightside and darkside playthrough for the vanilla game to check that everything works alright. At the same time I checked that in case of K1R in works (though in this case I didn't made freshly new playthrough and used savegames before entering the modules). I believe that the only gamebreaking problem my mod may cause is that someone will decide to use non-global npcs in the cutscenes. The same goes for the situation if someone will use scripts in those utc files. At the same time, if the person uses the same utc to edit the appearance and installs my mod afterwards the only issue will be that the appearance willchange to the one from my mod with parameters like weapon, clothes, stats like hp and mp, level and etc. That being said, I'm convinced that using the TSLPatcher in this case will be much more compatible and safe. Maybe someday I or somebody else will have time and knowledge to remake this mod with TSLPatcher installation.
  10. Small Update on collar fix mod. I checked JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 Mod Resource and the Mod itself, both now have version 1.4. I edited my collar fix a bit for the colour scheme of it to look a bit better for each three variations (100% Brown, Brown-Red-Blue, Brown-Red-Blue Alternative). I'm thinking about adding a .psd file with the collar itself to the mod so that anyone can use it. I hope I will be able to release it today. Update: It's out 😄 Concerning the mod ideas. I've been thinking about making variations of the Onderon uniforms in the Kotor 2 game. The idea is: 1. To add diversity to the Onderon military (add elements like insignias and rank bars to officers and soldiers) 2. Add something to distinguish royalist forces and General Vaklu soldiers (for example white band on a hand or something) during Battle of Onderon 3. Add something unique to the Uniform of General Vaklu and Colonel Tobin (maybe a medal, or some ribbons) To check if this project is possible I took N_OndSoldM1.tga texture, repainted and added to the game as N_OndSoldM2.tga but when I'm trying to equip g_a_clothes02 on my character with the appearance of Onderon_Soldier_Mal_01 the texture doesn't change. I believe it means that there can be only one texture for Onderon Soldiers =/ At least without editing appearance.2da

  12. Hello everyone! At last I finished light and dark side test playthrough with my Sith Uniform Reformation mod! Plus checked that it works with K1R. I added new uniforms for Korriban sith students and fixed the Czerka officers on Korriban. However, I decided to add it as a option because there are already mods like "Back in black" that change the sith students' appearances and fix Czerka officers. In any case, the new sith students look is below: The mod is out on DeadlyStream now!

  14. I made only the collar fix for JC's cloaked jedi robes texture but I believe that I need JCarter426's permission to upload it. I wrote him here on DeadlyStream but the last time he was online was in February. If he gives me his permission I will upload it, plus I have some thoughts for retexturing the robes (making more variety as a separate mod)
  15. Hi mackmitchell94 Do you remember where you heard about it? It's not easy to make the first game but both of them at the same time sounds a bit unrealistic.
  16. N-DReW25 is absolutely right, the only thing that I will add is that in K1R both events appear in the same module. So, if one of them appeared you should reenter the module for the second one to emerge.
  17. 😆 Lol, I like this one)))
  18. That's why it looked so familiar) Good choice and as I understand there will be no "clone" problem for the player because you can't select this head when in the character creation screen.
  19. I never liked the original Brejik face. This one is waaay better, I like it)
  20. Actually, the first time I heard rumors that Aspyr is working under Kotor I thought that they will make a remaster because the first game certainly needs one. (without mods it is quit uncomfortable to play in a windowed mode at least on the laptop). And I remember that several weeks ago they were asked about the project and the answer was that they are making a remaster, not a remake. At any rate, I'm super hyped that they decided to reboot it. At least now the cancelation of the Aperion project somehow is justified this way. And this is a way for new players who can't play games with old graphics (for some reason) to enjoy Kotor. I really hope that aside from the remake they will uplift the original game but only in the way of resolutions support with modification compatibility in mind. And in the case of the remake it would cool if they make the game moddable.
  21. Hi guys! While I'm still in the process of testing the sith uniform mod, I made retexture (collar fix) for JC's Fashion Line I - Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 by JCarter426 Original robe texture of the ported model My retexture PS Here're some more bright screenshots if for some reason contrast of your monitor doesn't let you see the details:
  22. Wow. It looks super nice now. I like it! Both Red and Blue one!
