AUTHOR: Sith Holocron FIRST RELEASE: 21 FEB 2017 CURRENT RELEASE: 24 JUL 2024 GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I [Not recommended for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II] Description: ------------ The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. It is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated. So . . . what’s different? The planets are now in the positions as laid out in Kexikus’ Canon Galaxy Map for KotOR 1 version 1.1 (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/479-canon-galaxy-map-for-kotor-1/) Note: The LEH_scre03 texture is the Galaxy Map *before* you click on it, that is when you can see the rest of the cockpit. Not recommended for use in KOTOR2. (For KotOR2, use this mod instead.) There are TWO different versions of the Galaxy Map texture that you can use! - Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game. This texture uses Tatooine as the spinning planet. It has 12 frames of animation. - Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added Ord Mantell to the map. This texture uses Dantooine as the spinning planet. It has 17 frames of animation. Installation: Choose the version that bests suits your uses. Grab the files from that file folder and drop them into the following folder: SWKotOR/Override Uninstallation: Take them out again. Known Bugs: None known at this time. for KotOR II: The Sith Lords by bead-v, Sith Holocron and Kexikus This is a combination of: bead-v's TSL Galaxy Map Fix, Sith Holocron's KOTOR2 (TSL) Animated Galaxy Map, Kexikus' TSL Galaxy Map Fix Coruscant AddOn & New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures. Links to the original mods: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/28-tsl-galaxy-map-fix/ http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/1024-sith-holocron-tsl-animated-galaxy-map-texture-in-canon-positions/ http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/778-tsl-galaxy-map-fix-coruscant-addon-new-coruscant-icon-and-planet-textures/ Description: The mod pack changes the positions of the planets in the galaxy map to roughly their canonical locations. It also fixes the planet locations on the Galaxy Map texture accordingly, and also animates it. Some install options will also install Kexikus' New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures. In case the Jedi Temple Mod is installed, Coruscant will also appear in the canonical location on the Galaxy Map Screen, regardless of install option. There are FOUR different install options: 1. The Galaxy Map TEXTURE will show only the vanilla planets in their canonical locations. 2. The Galaxy Map TEXTURE will additionally show M4-78. 3. The Galaxy Map TEXTURE will additionally show M4-78 and Coruscant. Kexikus' New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures will also be installed (But see the requirements section!). 4. The Galaxy Map TEXTURE will additionally show M4-78, Coruscant and Cathalan. Kexikus' New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures will also be installed (But see the requirements section!). About Cathalan, see this post: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4304-april-fools-an-exciting-mod-to-appear-on-deadly-stream-soon/ CLARIFICATION: With TEXTURE I mean the invariant texture of the Galaxy Map that you see on the Ebon Hawk before you have actually clicked on the Galaxy Map. What appears on this texture is completely unrelated to what shows up on the Galaxy Map Screen when actually clicked on. This means you can use any of the install options regardless of which mods you have installed (But see the requirements section about the new Coruscant textures!). Requirements: 1. This mod needs to be installed after any planet mods or patches for the relevant changes to take effect. If you are not seeing the desired changes and had already installed this mod and then installed a planet mod or patch over it, you may safely run this installer again and it will fix the issue. In case you have both M4-78EP and Coruscant Jedi Temple installed, you also need to install the compatibility patch before installing this mod (link: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/394-coruscant-jedi-temple-compatibility/). 2. In order to see the new Coruscant textures, you need to have HK-42's Jedi Temple Expansion mod installed (link: http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/210/), on top of deathdisco's original Coruscant Jedi Temple mod (link: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/585-coruscant-jedi-temple-by-deathdisco/). Installation: Run TSLPatcher.exe. If the installer gives you these warnings: Warning: Unable to find a field label matching "CONTROLS\20\EXTENT\LEFT" in galaxymap_p.gui, skipping... Warning: Unable to find a field label matching "CONTROLS\20\EXTENT\TOP" in galaxymap_p.gui, skipping... ... you don't need to worry, the mod installed correctly. If at any point you wish to reinstall the mod with a different texture option, you may simply run TSLPatcher.exe again. However, if you intend on uninstalling this mod later on, make sure the backed up files from the first installation are in a safe place, to prevent the new installation from overwriting them. Alternatively, you can manually copy the correct LEH_scre03.tga and LEH_scre03.txi to the override folder. Reinstallation will not remove the New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures, so you will need to manually remove the following files: Uninstallation: 1. Remove the following files from your override folder: - galaxymap_p.gui - GAL_Onderon_2.tga - LEH_scre03.tga - LEH_scre03.txi - gal_cor_2.tga (if new Coruscant textures were installed) - Gui_coruscnt.tga (if new Coruscant textures were installed) - Gui_coruscnt.txi (if new Coruscant textures were installed) - CM_coruscant.tga (if new Coruscant textures were installed) - CM_coruscant.txi (if new Coruscant textures were installed) 2. Copy any files with the above names from the backup folder created upon installing this mod. The backup folder is created in the same folder as this installer. Permissions: All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc., we own none of the materials, and we are not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless by permission of the mod authors. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. Use it how you like, but if you're going to post it up somewhere, or make a derivate mod, or use it in another mod, please put a line in the readme, mentioning us. We hereby state that we specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Stream Workshop. If bead-v is unreachable at any point, Sith Holocron or Kexikus may give any permissions concerning bead-v's mod on his behalf. Greetings, everyone. It's been a while. I was busier than usual over the summer, and I wanted to wait until I had a more substantial list of updates. This time, there's lots and lots of Jedi robes for KOTOR 1, new saber colors for KOTOR 1, a new modding tool that allowed for some updates, and the usual bug fixes. Updates Darksaber for K1 – Fixed an issue with the Darksaber not spawning. Also changed the installer to patch MOD files for better mod compatibility. Cloaked Jedi Robes – Made some animation improvements and converted textures to TPC format. Slave Bastila – Animation improvements, TPC format, and patching MOD files. Cloaked Jedi Robes & Supermodel Port mod resource – Updated to keep up to date with Cloaked Jedi Robes and also to include content from the new robe mods below. Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2 – I lied last time. I had forgotten to upload the K2 version. So this got the same treatment that the K1 version did, finally: alternate blue and green color options and TPC format. Jedi Tailor – Added a line of dialogue to account for a quest state I had forgotten about regarding the Sandral-Matale feud. VO Fix for K2 – Converted audio files with SithCodec. New Mods Extra Saber Colors – Adds orange, cyan, silver, viridian, and pink lightsabers to K1. Every color crystal has one drop location in the game, and crystals can be purchased on Yavin Station. Cloaked Party Robes – Gives the Jedi party members unique robes based on their clothing models. Cloaked Hybrid Robes – An alternative to Cloaked Jedi Robes, this mod adds the cloaks of the K2 robes to the K1 body models. Modding Tools SithCodec – Encodes and decodes audio for Knights of the Old Republic. Something Completely Different This month sees a much-anticipated release for KOTOR 2. The KOTOR 1 version was released a while back, and it felt like ages as we waited eagerly for the KOTOR 2 release, questioning whether it would ever see the light of day. I am of course talking about @Kexikus' High Quality Skyboxes II for KOTOR 2. Oh, and the Aspyr ports of KOTOR 2 for iOS and Android that have existed for years were finally released today, and there is now a mobile version of TSLRCM that will mostly work, and there was an accompanying update for the non-mobile version as well.

View File High Quality Skyboxes II If you update from version 1.0.x to 1.1 make sure to read the special instructions in the read-me! In order to update to 1.1.1 from any previous version, delete all 306nara.wok, 306narb.wok and 306nard.wok from your Override folder. If you had version 1.1 installed there is no need for anything else, otherwise follow the instructions in the read-me. ABOUT: This mod replaces every skybox and every planetary backdrop in the game with a new high resolution version made from scratch. This includes a replacement of every skybox model to fix all the glaring issues with the original. There are also some additional minor changes that either fix issues with the vanilla environments or serve to better blend ingame terrain and skybox. Other than that I recommend you just check out the screenshots as pictures say more than a thousand words or check the video to see the animated skyboxes. Click the following image to see additional interactive screenshot comparisons: There are also add-ons with new skyboxes for the following mods: M4-78 Enhancement Project Coruscant - Jedi Temple If you find any issues or have any other comments, please let me know and I'll see what can be done. INSTALLATION: For installation instructions check the read-me files of the individual downloads. You either have to run an installer or just drop files into your Override folder. For the mod to take full effect you need a savegame where you have not yet left Citadel Station. If you update from version 1.0.x to 1.1 make sure to read the special instructions. I also highly recommend to install the fog fix if you are using the latest Steam patch. COMPABILITY: This mod is not compatible with any mod that edits skyboxes in any way. This includes mods that only edit their models. There might also be rare incompabilities with mods that edit non-skybox area models if those models are also edited by this mod. PERMISSIONS: You may NOT redistribute any textures included in this archive without my explicit permission. You may however use all the models as long as you give me credit. Uploaded by permission of the author. "Ten years ago in 1997, we first saw the planet of Coruscant in the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi. It was only a brief appearance. In 1999, The Phantom Menace came out and we really got a good look at Coruscant and especially the Jedi Temple and the Senate Chambers. It was a city planet and the capital planet of the Republic in Star Wars. Then in the sequel of 2003s game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, we saw a brief appearance of Coruscant when your PC, the Jedi Exile, watches a video of his/her trial and exile from the Jedi Order that happened ten years earlier. We only got to see the Jedi Council chambers and a brief look outside the windows. Over the last two plus years since TSL came out, people wished that the KOTOR had already included Coruscant in one of their releases, or will include it if there is to be a KOTOR III. DeathDisco makes his FileFront debut bringing us that wish and he does it for TSL. The author is a veteran KOTOR modder at Holowan Labs who has made his way to putting up his first and his newest KOTOR mod here at FileFront. Hopefully hell send in his older mods to us in the future for some new KOTOR gamers to enjoy! This mod will definitely be a welcome addition because of the hard work and detail put into it. Since your character is a Jedi, the author has you go to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. There you can receive extra Jedi training, Force Forms, Lightsaber Forms, and practice your blaster bolt deflection skills. There are also new items for you to collect only on Coruscant. Lots of features and surprises the author wants you to figure out by playing the mod. This mod uses the TSL Patcher for easy installation and possible .2da file merging depending on what mods you have in your personal override folder. You should notice the new planet on the galaxy map on the Ebon Hawk. There is a screenshot showing a visual of that if you need it. Enjoy the mod. -Shem" (Original KotORFiles mod review) This mod adds a new planet to the galaxy map. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Features his mods create three new areas re-using exiting modules. 1.The Jedi Temple Landing pad. 2.The Jedi Temple itself. 3.The Jedi Council chambers. You can learn a handful of Jedi power. (Depends on skill/attribute checks) Learn a bonus Lightsaber form. (Prestige class required) Learn a bonus Force form. (Prestige class required, excluding Jedi Master/Sith Lord) Practice your blaster bolt deflection skills. Acquire high level Jedi related items/upgrades. Dark Side items also available. I've added a couple of items I created for previous mods. I created some new Jedi/Sith items for this mod. I re-created some K1 items (.uti's only) not available for TSL for this mod. Some surprises. Uninstallation Extract the contents of tsljeditemple.rar. Run the installer and select your game directory. IE: e:\Program Files\Lucasarts\SWKotOR2 The installer will create backups of files it modified. Save these for un-installation. Notes This mod is not currently compatible with any other mods that edit the galaxy map. This mod adds a lighsaber hilt reskin using model w_lghtsbr_151, which is compatible with USM and The Masters of the Force Hilt pack. All source files included in the NSS folder. All done. Seems like stuck. Thanks for the help, but I'm dropping this one...

Try removing permov08.bik and permov09.bik from the Movies folder. It sounds like there might be an issue with the Bink videos that TSLRCM adds. This will skip the Harbinger arrival videos, but it might let you progress.

Mando. S2 finale. THAT is how a certain trilogy should've been. Not the bumbling mess we got.

Thanks for that, LDR. Let me state that I was not planning on making such a mod. This post wasn't made to put out feelers to gauge interest. I just think that someone is eventually going to make a mod using this technology. It may or may not be for KOTOR but it seems inevitable that a mod using a deepfake is going to happen. With this in mind, it seems prudent to calmly discuss the matter before something like this shows up on our doorstep.

It's just for a personal project. I plan to use the AdminOff and Corrun Falt retex as replacements for Nurik Sandral and Ahlan Matale, for which I couldn't find unique heads that would suit them for a long long time. I've been using the heads from SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack, but they didn't quite fit the bill. PMHB07 I planned to use for Gandroff on Tatooine, but after seeing the retex, I think I'll use it for a more important NPC, it's just too good to waste on ol' Gandroff 😁 Maybe admiral Cede from TSL.

I'm excited we're bringing a beloved yet controversial mod to the hallowed halls of Deadly Stream . . . Cathalan! To quote Jaevyn's original description of the mod: Here are some screenshots: Jaevyn is updating his mod package so it will work well with TSLRCM but he didn't want you to be completely without something to use today. Click here to get an item that was previously exclusive to the Gold Edition to download! Let's celebrate the premiere of Cathalan on Deadly Stream!

Experience famous restored content mod on your mobile device. Install instructions: Both iOS and Android place all files in a folder called ‘mods_english’ (or ‘mods_italian’, etc.) within a folder called ‘dlc’. So /dlc/mods_english/[all files]/. 1. Unzip mtslrcm.zip 2. dlc folder contains five subfolders, for each language version; feel free to delete ones you don't use. 3. Paste it in the install location: iOS: On iOS, they are placed in iTunes > Apps > Documents, in the same spot that the ‘saves’ folder goes. ANDROID: On Android the files should be placed in /Home/Android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor2/files/ As long as you’ve closed the game from the app switcher before launching with the mod, everything should work as normal."

Just curious on if there's some sort of splash screen on the start menu to let you know you're playing the modded version like there is on PC. Start screen looks identical so I'm not sure if the mod is installed properly. Gonna boot it up and see if there's any difference noticed right away.
