I have a tendency to collect Lightsabers, both in real life from SaberForge and Ultrasabers, and in my Kotor 2 (and sometimes 1) override folder. I have pretty much all of Jorn's hilts, Holowan designs, etc., but I really love the standalone hilt mods out there like the Valorous Knight's Lightsaber or the Kyle Katarn hilt. So would anyone be willing to drop any Saber Hilt mods in this thread that I might be able to add to my Override for either game? Really it can be anything, so long as it's something you made that you don't mind someone else using in their game. Thank you! -

This mod replaces all the saber icons [Mantle of the Force, Heart of the Guardian and Malak's Lightsaber included] with the all new Cool Saber Icons. -= BACKGROUND =- When I switch around the lightsabers on the equip-list menu I had noticed that the blue lightsaber icons wasn't blue enough -- it was more purple than blue for this eyes, so I decided to make it blue, similar to the blade's color. The color of the icons were inspired by JCarter426's "JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects", the K1 version in particular. In the end not only the color that was changed, but the overall style of all the icons as well. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 22 new Cool Saber Icons in TPC format -- covering all the available [saber] icons [including the unobtainable Malak's] in vanilla game. Preview -- As in v2.0.0 the hilts were rendered using VarsityPuppet's "Hi Poly Tin Cans" [ported to K1 by Fallen Guardian] enhanced by DarthParametric's "Alternative Textures". DP did the neat work as well on rendering them for me to repurpose as icons. As for the background bits I used and combined the TOR assets ported and provided by Magnetiicz. -- provided as well user-friendly TGA/DDS/TXI cleaner and mod-uninstaller for convenience purpose. -= FINAL REMARKS =- As it stands now Malak's Lightsaber is unobtainable in-game in a regular way. However, you can use cheat-console then type for giveitem g_w_lghtsbr06 to get one. I planned on allowing players to obtain one in-game sometimes in the future -- probably with the next update. There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 9.7.2016 1.1 Update Release Date: 1.8.2016 Installation: Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Uninstall: Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Description: During your adventure you come across a few "Alignment Restricted" Items meaning depending on the item you must meet the Alignment given for example the Star Forge Robes require an Alignment of Light Side so if your Neutral or Dark Sided you CANNOT wear the Star Forge Robes and get it's good stats. So what this simple mod does is remove that restriction so you can wear the Circlet of Saresh while also wearing Darth Revan's Robes if you really wanted to. This mod will replace the Sith Lightsaber you find on Korriban with a fully upgradable, uniquely skinned Sith Lightsaber with special properties. For this to work, you must not disturb the Sith Statue. Otherwise,you must start a new game. The original mod "Enhanced Sith Saber v. 1.0" belongs to Shimaon, but he quit modding for KotOR (at least until KotOR II) and gave me permission to continue his work. So here it is. I never used K1R, so I actually don't know if this mod is compatible with it or not. Just to be safe, I say no, until it's confirmed otherwise by someone. Thanks to milestails who asked me these days to upload my old Mekel Recruitment mod here. I wasn't aware that someone would still be interested in this old mod. I decided to upload all my mods here, in both language versions, so that they can be enjoyed fo another couple of years or so. -
