Great job! These are a much needed and refreshing take on a game that can (on occasion) show its age.

I have been following this mod over at LF for a while now and boy does it look good, even at this stage. Good luck with it Kainzorus Prime!

*Facepalm* I'm such an idiot.... Thanks very much, I missed one in the .mdl file!

Hello guys, longtime lurker here! So I am really big into customising my game, making it personal. So I noticed out of all the black core saber mods out there, I couldn't find one that didn't replace the standard crystal colours, which was a big no no for me! (I couldn't possibly allow my enemies to enjoy the same unique black crystal as me!) What I then tried to do was to incorporate the black cores from Rtas Vadum's mod and apply them to a single, particular saber that my PC would use, one from Qui-Don Jorn's HotOR mod. I hexedited the saber's .mdl file to use the the black texture and utilised the .txi file from Rtas vadum's mod, however for some reason it doesn't come out as well when I tried it. As the first 2 screenshots indicate, with my attempt the saber comes out kind of half black looking from behind, but nothing like the mod itself. I'm just at a loss on what to do and any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Star Wars Episode VII :The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer
Mutilator57 replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in Star Wars
I thought this trailer was far more cohesive than the last. This time I actually got sense of the scale and scope of the movie, rather than just the mishmash of images last time. I especially like the downed ISD in the desert. -
Blaster Carbines and Light Repeaters

I have wondered that too! I always thought it was an unintended side affect of all those mods in my override. -

You are all right of course. When I first saw this (back around August) I was extremely skeptical that any of their ambitions could come to fruition. In their video they are extremely apologetic for misleading the public for who knows how long, saying they now realise the limitations of their abilities and the game's engine (duh?). But in all honestly that should have been STEP 1.
-
Well what do you know, they did release something after all: Judging by some of the more unsavoury comments and by the video itself it appears as if they ran into "unforeseen difficulty". I mean I don't know how they could have possibly set down a definitive time-frame with a mod of this scale and scope, especially considering it had not been in development all that long. In any event has anyone actually tried what they did release?

Well the depth of field difference is certainly noticeable!

UPDATE: Found some old and rather large texture mods sitting around my hard drive and installed them - Some of Vurt's stuff among others. TSL is now up to 2.32 gigs.
-
Currently my Override folder for K1 sits at 1.8 gigs composed of 9 000 or so files. Bear in mind that size is with Brothers of Shadow and so many other mods with conflicts galore! The amount of do-it-yourself fixes to ensure compatibility amazes even me. As for TSL a healthy 1.6 gigs from 3 500 files-as if my computer wasn't already lag-prone enough...

Woah that is a really effective GUI for a game of chance like Pazaak! However I do think that the purple on the sides and bottom is just a tad on the strong side, perhaps if you were to tone it darker a little bit? Great job though!

Lots of great work in this thread! However I would also agree with Version 2 as I think it suits the futuristic style of Star Wars

I would vote for perhaps the Handmaiden, it has been awhile since I have seen some good re-texturing of her. Great mod BTW

Great mod!

As soon as I saw the thread I instantly downloaded your new bearded texture, the quality is simply superb! I especially like your new yellow and orange eyes, keep the great work coming!

Well time-wise you may be 1 hour into it, however if I recall correctly you are looking for access to the second part of the Industrial Zone, meaning there are a lot more areas to see yet And as Hassat Hunter said, what exactly does your journal say? Is it just "unhelpful" or is it completely empty and doesn't update? I didn't mean to imply that you were a novice at RPG's but we can debate the different aspects of this modification in a different forum. If you want help with that specific part... and from there it is self-explanatory, hope this helps.

Hear me out this may help you. Well if you are only up to that stage of M4-78 (The cleaning report part is pretty near the beginning of the planet I should think) is it really fair to be categorizing all voice acting as poor? I will admit, sometimes the quality of the voices fluctuates but on the whole they're generally well done, after all this was all done by fans who have put in the time and effort to record these lines rather than simply sticking them with some boring default droid voices, of course they're going to have difficulty matching studio quality voices found in the vanilla game! Can the quality of the mod be called into question when the issue is about whether or not your computer can handle the module? Are they to blame for that? Well as Mephiles550 said, compare it to the original mod years ago which was much more straight forward, at least they took the time to implement several quests this time AND with some variety I might add! Ah now this is an issue I can sympathise with as I also suffered this problem with my first installation, however it can easily be resolved by a re-installation (I have yet to encounter any negative ramifications from doing so) The journal fix I detailed above might help with this, although (to me at least) the mod seemed straight forward to follow mostly, and hey, they even made you video walkthroughs for assistance Perhaps it isn't everyone's cup of tea but at least give it a chance further on, the cleaning droid area (from my memory) is very early on and I would try to avoid basing your entire view so early. BTW I dont know if this was a hidden request for help but I will do it anyway if you want to upload the report go to the main terminal in the Central Zone.
