TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem

Damn, this is a long topic already... well, time to read (yes, nothing done yet). Skimmed a few posts. Aside from hating us, I also recall you weren't fond of my about my bug reports I made for TSLRP during it's leaked beta (only about 400 entries or so). Should have had saved that list, would have saved me a lot of time on TSLRCM. Might even still be issues in I listed there but then completely forgotten about afterwards. Also those annoying ones we can't fix like the sparring gamebreaker :/ Well, thanks man. Now I was never part of Team Rancor. Thanks to you. *sniff*. Anyway, time to read and make an actual contribution or post something of substance... maybe -
Meanwhile I did the same for Jerron (or whatever his name is, the Dantooine guy that got lucked up in the Sublevel) I got oodles of complains from everyone. Then again I wasn't that thorough in searching .lips, and I literally can't care less at this point. Also, why does he still use his original "Exchange" line at the start? You can always make them an alien. *cough* Liskis *cough*

What TSLRP sought to Restore

Seems people think so positively about me here. Just lovely. Fix a zillion bugs, get scorned. Love it! Basically; * The assassin in TSF. * Then an Atton branch unlocks talking about them * The Luxa path assassins. * A few lines in the Goto introduction scene * Vossk dialogue. Then a whooooooooole lot of nothing till just before going to Malachor, where you suddenly get contacted by them since they'll blow up Nar Shaddaa and have to face them, fight the guy dude, fight his Rancor. Then he blows himself up, "Exile is dead" dialogue when an animated camera loops around the Hawk till Bao's lines, then Malachor. And that was the GenoHaradan. Not quite explained how you survive, your sudden ressurection on Malachor etc. etc. It felt *very* jarring to me. The pre-Malachor scene was pretty great though, would have loved to have that animated camera. Alas, they rather just died rather than have others fix their stuff. You know, giving us a major headstart instead of redoing all of it over. Then again since how much was re-written code-wise for no reason while we just stick to Obsidian's stuff and fix what needs fixed, in the end it turned out better, even if it was much work. But still, if I could, I would so love that camera. Actually have it, but it wouldn't really be ethitical (/legal) to use it, so I don't. This is actually in the vanilla game (and thus TSLRCM). It's just the flag unlocking it is never set. If you use KSE to set the flag, you can listen to it yourself. Far I know, that flag doesn't do anything else in the game to screw you over. -

Along with deleting all TLK entries and more fun fun issues that are introduced editing .utc's with KOTORTool. -
That should be really easy to fix. I kinda doubt there ever will be a TSLRCM update, but if there will be, I'll add that in. Unless I forget in the meantime. EDIT. Fixed. Now if it'll ever be distributed is another question.

That's pretty much the basic rookie mistake to make if editing an .utc with KOTORTool (don't use KOTORTool for .utc's DAMMIT!). :/ -
I've already moved the camera up to mask it on widescreen pretty much the first update afters Aspyr's update; so I have no idea what you're talking about. I also see no issuess with the skybox. Care to point them out in a screenshot or something?

They use their skills for creation, players skill for breakdwown in vanilla (fixed by TSLRCM)

Doing that just makes them stand again if interacted with and reloading the module... you know; that ancient TSL issue some crazy mod fixed. -

Well, got it to work, but moving the files from the KOTOR2 folder to the M4-78EP workshop where I could distribute it it no longer works. So doesnt seem like I can just add it to the workshop download :/ (Or well, I can, but people need to manually move the files) -
Yeah, since the goal of fixing 1000s of bugs is so people will re-add them one-by-one to the game again. Nothing quite like spending countless thousands of hours of time giving people a bug-free experience and then crapping all over it. But hey, I should be happy, right? RIGHT?

Compiling Module Textures vs Putting Them in Override

Depends on what you need. Custom camera's are usually best put in Override. Several camera issues in M4-78EP 1.2 where caused by Zbyl putting my custom cams in the module rather than the override. -

Yes, while the Rebuild Academy made sense, it's strongly connected to the level that I didn't want to touch, AND was part of the original credits. M4's music was too, but since it really defines M4-78EP imo and isn't used ingame (except for our mod) aside from the credits I figured it could pass on. Like said, there's been put quite a bit of thought into the original pick of credits music.
