  1. 1) Harharr's final role at Malachor V is to basically hunt Mira at the end or to teach the Exile the lesson of strength. From what I recall, Hanharr has no role at the Trayus core. 2) George Lucas specifically said he didn't want more Wookiee Jedi. To quote Wookieepedia . . . If Obisidian decided against it, why put it back in?

  5. There's a new file approved in the download section that I thought we all agreed not to approve: the soundtrack. I will try to yank the file. Please explain to LDR the consequences of approving copyright infringement, if you would be so kind.

  6. Some questions . . . A) I'm glad DeadMan is helping with you with the rigging. That takes care of one of my questions straightaway. Now that you'll be having a brand new model, have you considered how that might affect all of the camera that are designed for the original model? Will you be adding camera corrections for both TSLRCM 1.8 and the yet-to-be-released M4-78 EP? C) On the model head . . . a suggestion. If the model exists in TSL, have you considered using this head to add a little more variety than just using the standard Sith Droid model's head? D) We've discussed HK-47's description of G0-T0. Don't forget G0-T0's self descriptions. To quote: Looks like like you got the black frame and the intimidating part down. Add some shininess to the model and you're set. E) A line that will now need a slight edit - Gblg0t0125.wav - where he mentions that he floats. As it's only one word to remove, it should be an easy edit.

  9. I'm going to fixate on one small area of one briefly seen module - the galaxy map area in the damaged Ebon Hawk module as seen in the prologue of TSL. When you see that area in the game - (from 1:25 to 1:30 for a good shot of it) - notice that the monitors actually animate. I'd love to see those areas of the cockpit animate in the regular undamaged version of the Ebon Hawk. Not necessarily with the static and monitor issues but at least something could be changing in the background. Back to that to that module though: I hope that when NVenom works on all of the module textures, he doesn't forget about this area too.

  11. Well even if you recreated all of the items, modules, and models that are exclusive to KotOR - you'd still be lacking the voices. You can't port KotOR voices into TSL. In addition, some relevant excerpts from the TSL End of User License Agreement: For this reason, it is against Deadly Stream policy to port assets from one game to another. We do not condone porting of this nature, and moderators will close or delete any thread or posts discussing such mods, even if it is for your own personal use. The exception to this is if the asset in question is present in both KOTOR and TSL. Modders may create from scratch mods that resemble assets from another game.

  14. I suggest a dual distribution method. Release the individual packs one planet at a time here - as you go. When you've finished all the planets, also release the complete package as a torrent for those folks that want an all-in-one sort of deal. A question: will you be packaging your mod as an EXE as before or will you let us place the files we wish to place in the override. Speaking only for myself, i love to pick an choose which wall, floor, and skybox textures I place in there as I likely to have complete control of my game's look. If it's an EXE, I can still do this but it would personally save me time. Just a thought . . .
  15. I can confirm this. I have TSL without TSLRCM on my computer and I was having the same graphics issue. Try seeing if you have updates available and let us know how that worked out for you. (Yeah, yeah, I know. I don't have TSLRCM 1.8 on my computer yet. I'm waiting for M4-78 EP. Back to recording before my flight tomorrow!)
  16. Hassat Hunter has released a beta for a TSLRCM 1.8 compatible version of the "Handmaiden for Females mod." For all of those interested in having either Handmaiden in a female Exile's party of Disciple in a male Exile's party - I direct them to try out Hassat Hunter's beta and offer input through bug testing it. By the way, it should go without saying that his beta is designed for TSLRCM 1.8 compatibility only so use this only with that mod and at your own risk.
  17. In the current version of TSL (or in TSLRCM), G0-T0 has lines where he's referred to by the other characters and in some cut-scenes, he/it even has interactions with them. Your new character would have to bring something big to the table to make me want to switch to a new character that the rest of the party has no voiced comments for. I believe HK-47 even describes him as such more than once. You're going to neuter HK-47's dialogue in order to add in a different charatcer model?

  19. On download page: a mod I uploaded (and have confirmed is attached to the site) doesn't let me people download it. Instead it bounces folks to the main forums page? What might cause that?
