  1. Can you make a wire-frame of the Ebon Hawk? Check this thread for my request: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/2441-ebon-hawk-wire-frame/

  2. Three reasons . . . 1) Incompatibility issues between the mods: You are going to have mod conflicts crop up from time to time and sometimes you just can't get them to work together. 2) Permissions: You're not going to obtain permissions to include all of the mods in such a collection. Some of the modders of the popular mods are no longer in the modding scene and there's no way to contact them. No popular site would host a "all in one pack" if all the contributors didn't give their blessing to include their work. (The site moderators on those sites would be more likely to lock the thread and remove any links to such a mod.) 3) Disagreement: Not everyone is going to agree with what you call "the basic building" blocks actually are! What i might call necessary, you might call frivolous. You might want one saber mod while you want another. And so on.
  3. Filefront/Gamefront has restricted access. NOTE: Downloads will not be possible from Gamefront or Filefront in the following countries: Argentina Mexico Chile Spain Thailand Poland Colombia Brazil France Venezuela Italy Peru Uruguay Malaysia Turkey Indonesia India Ecuador Costa Rica Honduras Hungary Philippines Portugal Romania Russian Federation Serbia Singapore Sweden Japan Indonesia If you want to access those sites from one of the above listed countries, find an "anonymizer" site. Use Google to find the one you want. Other members . . . do not link to any anonymizers in this thread,
  4. I agree that the second one is the best, in my humble opinion. IIRC, you said you were going to hold off on doing the clouds on Korriban. Am I remembering wrong? Merry Christmas!
  5. I'm looking for someone with experience in 3d modeling programs that can produce several screenshots of a wire frame model of the Ebon Hawk. I don't have a wire frame model but perhaps there's a function key in one of those 3d programs that would enable a standard KotOR model to appear as a wire-frame model. I'm somewhat ignorant on the matter. If successful, I plan to use these pictures to update one of the monitors in the Ebon Hawk. I'd also be interested in models of the Republic "Hammerhead Ship" model as well but I'm concentrating on the EH first. Let me know if you are comfortable with 3d programs and have an interest in this. Thank you for attention. If you have any questions, please ask.
  6. At long last . . . the site shows tge right name!

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time, a long time....

  7. It might be time for to ask your questions about Miles Tools in this LucasForums thread.
  8. Slim Killer: a few questions for you . . . 1) What version of TSL id you install, the 4 CD version, a Steam download, or the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Collection (i.e. the one that's bundled with the original KotOR on a single DVD)? 2) Do you have a save on Malachor V prior to entering the Trayus Core to confront Kreia? If so, could you play through from that previous save and report your results?
  9. Are you playing in SWTOR's Life Day Event? What do you think of it? Share your thoughts here: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/2435-life-day-event/

  10. HH, have you thought about opening a thread at SWTOR's official forums to point out how stupid these helmets look? Send a link and I will post in it too!
  11. Malkior, could you test that out for him as a proof of concept? I am at work so I can't do it myself for a bit.
  12. In a word: no. To explain with a little more detail: Do not save it as a new file inside another sound program or in Notepad. Here's what you do: Copy a sound file to an other folder, one that you haven't fooled with before. For this example, save it to your "My Documents" folder. Make sure you can see the file's FULL file name - listing it's file extension, which for this would be WAV. Change the extension in Windows Explorer to MP3. After you do that, only then should you open it in Goldwave or Audacity. Check that you can hear the file. Let us know how that goes.
  13. The Jedi Temple (AKA Cosrucant) mod is a new module that uses the room that the Exile's trial occurred, plus some other repurposed rooms.
  14. So who here besides me has already acquired the Achievement and Title from the new Life Day Event? I got it for one of my Jedi Covenant (US server) characters. Then I had to get for one of my wife's US server character. Then I thought: As long as I'm wasting time, I may as well get it on one of my Red Eclipse (European server) characters. The weird thing? I'm not even really interested in the mount that you can get with those Snow Covered Parcels. If I lost you on any of this, you ought to see how to play this darn thing event over here.
  15. Hassat, those helmet are hideous. It's strange because I recall see helmets in game that do look like the original helmets - odd that they didn't use those.
  16. OK, can't get Miles to work? Let's go to plan B... You can rename the files (you should create a backup first) from .wav to .mp3 and then you can open them with sound program like Goldwave or Audacity.
  17. It won't be looked at until after TSLRCM 1.8.3 and the patch for M4-78 EP is released. That only makes sense, as you'll want the latest version to work with Coruscant... Plus they are really busy with the aforementioned mods.
  18. The program used to listen to those files was called Miles Sound Studio. This tutorial - though originally made for creating your own TSL soundtrack - can also be used to decompress the voice files as well. Edit: the link to Miles Sound Tools is no longer functional. However, you can request in this thread at LucasForums and someone may be able to send you a link.
  19. You may not upload it with music that you haven't created or have the legal rights to. This includes taking original music and simply altering it's speed. You also may not upload sound effects that are included in the game. As long as I'm saying things you can't do, let me say something you shouldn't do. You shouldn't double post - even if you're the original poster (OP) of a thread. If you were that last person to post in a thread, just edit that post to include your additional thoughts and/or corrections. Finally, we are not a Minecraft modding site. We don't have a section for Minecraft mods in our Download section. Why aren't you trying to upload your mod to a site that specializes in Minecraft mods? If you do wind up doing such a thing, feel free to provide a link here in this thread.
  20. Here's the part that concerns me. What music and sounds have you added? Was the music grabbed from TSL? Even porting things from the KotOR to TSL (or vice versa) is a violation of the EULA (End-user license agreement) and so folks aren't really allowed to do it. This would also apply to transferring TSL or KotOR assets to Minecraft as well. OK, I just opened up what's been uploaded and there are definitely TSL and KotOR assets in there. If you put files created by Bioware or Obsidian into your Minecraft, your upload will not be approved.
  21. M4-78 EP Beta Team, I have a question for you. Go here for more info: http://tinyurl.com/kwdnae4

I'm throwing snowballs in TOR. How about you?

  22. In your changelog, you state that you made "Additional changes based on developer notes." What exactly are they? I just wanted to know exactly what you changed in these scenes (male and female Exiles) to know why I should download this.
