  1. Dylan, this mod doesn't cut out the in-game rendered portion of the scene. It only affects the pre-rendered movies that bookend what Zbyl2 recreated in the engine. Trust me - you'll lose nothing of what you love and you'll gain some quality.
  2. Can we see a screen shot over your Override folder then?
  3. Have at it! In addition, I suggest also posting in Holowan Labs on Lucasforums about it too.
  4. I'm bringing my desktop tower to the shop to have it looked at. Looks like my fan might be on the way out. (Yes, I tried the usual things first.) I'll mostly be incommunicado for the time being.

  5. Opening portion of M4-78 EP Modcast: Complete

  6. Zbyl said to me in PMs . . . Sounds like permission to me! Who's up for splitting the files, naming them to what's used in TSLRCM, and uploading them here?
  7. If TSLRCM installer size is an issue, it should be a separate release. I've e-mailed Zbyl2 a request for such a thing.
  8. The cutscene was recreated with all movements to be just like the original BIK. The music piece playing in the scene was recreated (by PastramiX if I'm not mistaken) and sounded just like the BIK. The voice lines by Kreia are in game so that wasn't the issue either. What is missing are the sound effects. Kreia's scream/moans during the assault, the punches levelled by Sion, and the sound of the lightsaber rattling across the Trayus Core's flagstones aren't available in game. Trying to sync the cutscene with one long audio file was apparently awkward and had timing issues.
  9. I see where Kainzorus Prime is going with this. It seems unlikely you've asked permission to use that file - especially seeing as the creator of that Dooku skin just asked you to provide a link. If you don't get permission to use that skin, you will have to create your own skin from scratch. A gentle warning: Using materials from another modder in your own upload - without permission - will cause your submission to be yanked down from here and have the discussion thread locked. Let's avoid that unpleasantness altogether.
  10. I suppose a good work around for this one would be to download Fallen Guardian's Dustil Restoration 1.0.
  11. An issue I had with the droids in the Central Zone were their walking sounds. When your character is not engaged in conversation, the droids making a racket isn't much of an issue. (Heck, it adds atmosphere to the place!) However, when I want to hear a conversation and all I can hear is mechanical clomping, that's an issue for me. For my own usage, I plan to lower the volume of the droids "footsteps" but I'll have to to identify the sound files to do it. Hopefully, one of you fine forum users can assist me in identify the appropriate files. The culprits in question . . .
  12. I created a thread for a new member having an issue. Mindwizard: What's the name of the mod you think is causing the issue? In addition. . . Please provide an in-depth explanation of the issue with the Undercity encounters, all mods you're using with the game (whether you think they may be related to your issue or not.) When listing the mods, include hyper-links to pages where one can download the mod. (You can't assume the folks that can help you with your issue have in depth knowledge of every mod out there.)
  13. If you're having mod issues with KOTOR1, I recommend posting in the Knights of the Old Republic General section. When creating such a thread in that section, mention the game, the area you're having issues with, an in-depth explanation of the issue, all mods you're using with the game (whether you think they may be related to your issue or not.) When listing the mods, include hyper-links to pages where one can download the mod. (You can't assume the folks that can help you with your issue have in depth knowledge of every mod out there.) Best of luck. PS: I created a thread for your issue.
  14. I'll be away from my computer for a few days. If needed, get in touch with me through my personal email.

  15. Might be a popular mod . . . are you interested in making it?
  16. I'd say go for it. Can't beat the price - free. Here's my suggestion, try out one storyline. If you like it, you've made your decision. If you don't like it, uninstall the sucker and you at least have your answer. If you're going to use a server in North America, I'd suggest going on Jedi Covenant. (I can use the in-game email system to send items for your character that way.) If you're going to use a server in Europe, I'd suggest going on Red Eclipse. I'm on there too - as well as many other Deadly Stream folks. And like before, I'll send items your way. If you use one of those servers, let me know what type of character it is and what the character's name is. Empire can't email Republic and vice versa - but there are ways around that. I personally think the Trooper storyline is the weakest so I wouldn't use that one first.
  17. Nope. The sounds made when choosing dialogue options is removed.
  18. I have your email. Thanks for the reminder as I had a crazy night last night. Check your inbox.
  19. I think I still have it. I will look when I get home tonight. If I do, I will email it to you packaged or as a link.
  20. OK, back on topic. sic: What area are you working on next? Which of your textures that you've done are you most pleased with?
