  1. a possible idea is that you add a Creature Hide line that reflects the weapon. Carth's hide: Blaster tag(please refer to the Blaster item row there are damage, critical threat and critical mulitiple and AC. Well I was testing on a gauntlet row and use the quarter staff damage tags. it does work. i am tempted to full on Mod with that in mind later down the road.

  3. One of the reasons I want to focus on buffing the Jedi Sentinel into the Jedi Shadow and make it more well rounded class and make it attractive to the player to choose. And having optional sneak attack 1 to 10 for the players. Also Game Mechanic wise I want a subtle connection between Revan and Bastila while respecting player choice. For Revan and Bastila as a Duo, thematic reasoning for the Jedi Shadow is that Jedi Shadow are information gatherers about Sith and other threats to the Galaxy and silent and subtle observers. Bastila Shan's Role: Subtle Observer role Revan: Information Gather role I will post my reasoning for Thematic classes and having new feats( using base items and hides) that reflect their training
  4. I am interested in re using one of the female Revan heads(Angelina Jolie one with the red braid) as a base and maybe using other's assets to make a Recruitable character.
  5. my novice nature is showing but can this tool be useful for making new characters for a recruitment mod. i have a rough draft in my head that involve Ord Mantell by Redhawke.
  6. I am doing a thematic class mod for Kotor 1. And my question is that does deal with the Player Character is that should I focus on single highly flexible class for the Player character, Focus build class(like they are in the vanilla) or make each of the Jedi Classes highly flexible. One of the aspect of this mod, that I am converting Jedi Sentinel to the Jedi Shadow. Jedi Shadow Class: Force Jump Tree will be unlock fully. Force Immunity tree will unlock fully as well Force Focus Tree will unlock fully. Uncanny Dodge will automatic. Sneak Attack feats 1 to 10 will unlock to use. All Weapons Specializations will be unlocked and able to be used. As of right now, I am leaning towards making all Jedi Classes highly Flexible and selectable for the Player. Bastila Shan is supposed to be a mentor to Player Character; so having them the same class makes sense to me, for you only teach what you know. True, the knowledge base for Player Character is Jedi Council and choosing your class make sense as well. There are other New Non Force Using classes that will reflects their roles and themes. Zaablar: Mad Claw(Tankier Scout) Carth: Republic Pilot(Scout with good BAB and Improved Starting Defense and Saving throws) Canderous: Mandalorian Commando(tankier Soldier) Mission: Pathfinder(Scoundrel) T3-M4: Astro-mech Hk-47: Assassin Droid(i have plans to add Sneak Attack and stealth function to his hides if possible)

  9. right now, I wanting to do a Non Forcing Classes mod. Right now, I am trying to do a Mandalorian Commando class for Canderous. I did save the classes to the override and the dialogue where the dialogue normally where the dialogue is placed. This aspect of my entire mod idea is to have more unique classes for the Non Force users within the group. Canderous=Mandalorian Commando Carth=Republic Pilot(it is a Scout with better attack bonus) Zaalbar=MadClaw(tankier Scout class) Mission=Pathfinder T3-M4=Astromech Hk-47=Assassin Droid Yes I do need help because when I add like a New Non Force using class, it doesn't show up.
  10. Well I had this problem before. I have found that Re-installing Kotortool and Kotor and it will correct itself.
  11. thank you. I am going to updating this thread. I might do a Dedicated Hide thread later on that involves the Player Character and Ebon Hawk crew.
  12. Message did say, "Error, Couldn't find the Latest version of Kotortool" when it starts up.
  13. i am using Window 10 with all of the current updates if you are curious.
  14. Every time I try to re-install Kotortool, it is a partial installation not a full installation. The Kotortool installation bar doesn't complete before it asks me if I want to do start up Kotortool. I do wonder why is that and how to correct it. I want to do an indepth mod with a lot of content including a Force Specialization mod, Porting, Few Recruitment mods and other ideas. For example, New Customs Class like Ace pilot for Carth, Mandalorian Commando for Canderous.

  16. classes.ada is important here. the attributes cap at 18. So if you want an extremely op Jedi, setting wisdom and charisma to 18

  20. I have notice that Your grenade Feat has no icon. In your old Content Feats mod that it has Echani martial arts Tree that I do like a lot but there is an animated glitch that makes the character has Echani Feat looks like they are running in place.
  21. Keep in mind Tamerbill, My suggestions are Lore Friendly and Thematic friendly. In Short, if it fits into Star wars or fits into the game, I will suggest it. Well I do hope these ideas are good jumping off point. Martial arts Feats: All of the Martial arts feats should be able Armor or without Armor. Also Jedi Classes and Normal Classes should be able to use them. Echani Tree: Agile martial arts is similar to Kung fu that is taught to Special Forces and other organizations Taijutsu Tree: An adaptable martial art that can adapt to many situations Teras Kasi Tree: Able fight Jedi and other force users on equal footing Those three I would like to see but you can add any many other martial arts that you want. Jedi and Sith Specializations I would like to see: Jedi Battle Master: Lightsabers Specialists that focus DPS and off tanks. Lore Wise: They are Jedi Guardians primarily that pursue either Premier Jedi Lightsabers Instructor or Field Commanders. Jedi Battle Masters: Zhar and Kavar are proper Jedi Battle Masters within Kotor 1 and 2. Sith Marauder: Similar to Jedi Battle Masters, Sith Marauders are the Sith Combat Specialists that specialize within Lightsaber mastery. Darth Sion with in Kotor 2 is a good example of a Sith Marauder and Darth Vader is a tankier verison of a Sith Marauder. Jedi Shadow: Lore Wise: Jedi Shadows draws from Jedi Sentinels primarily and Information gatherers and able to take down Dangerous Enemies ranging from Sith Lords, Crime Lords, Bounty Hunters and other dangerous enemies. Capable of Stealth. Obi Wan is a good example of a Jedi Shadow can do. Sith Assassin: Similar to the Jedi Shadow, Sith Assassins can take down Dangerous enemies for their Sith Masters and gather information. Darth Bandon, due to writer's intention, is to be a Sith Assassin. Darth Maul is a better example of a Proper Sith Assassin. Jedi Sage: Lore Wise: Jedi Consular primarily that desire to study Force at the deeper level. Master Yoda within the OT and Luke Skywalker within the Sequel. Jedi Sages often heal others and crowd crowd. Sith Sorceror: Similar to the Jedi Sage, Sith Sorceror study the dark side fully and embrace it and torments their enemies with the force. Other Force user specialization Idea: Matukai Adept: Force using Martial artists organization that compliments Martial arts training and the Force Training. Jedi Seeker: Jedi that travels the galaxy. Some Jedi Seekers become Hermits, Some hunt criminals, Some searches Old Jedi Holocron thru out the galaxy learning the new Force abilities. And righting wrongs thru out the galaxy and helping other people. Jolee can be consider a Jedi Seeker when he was younger. Ataru Striker is one of the Jedi Seeker Specialization within Pathfinder. Jedi Bastion: Increase DC effectiveness of Stun, Stasis and Stasis Field. Also boost effectiveness of Double Lightsaber. Think of Bastila Shan. Jedi Shadow Commander: Revan/Player Character; Able to work with many builds to take on Darth Malak and win.

  23. To TamerBill, there is nothing wrong to have high standards. Your old Kotor 1 Content: Feats and Force Power mod is good quality.

  25. Pilot makes sense for Carth and Warrior makes sense for Canderous. For example a possible class for Mission is Undercity Pathfinder due to that she helps you with the Taris Sewers and your guide to the sewers.
