Hello all, Would it be possible to recreate these companion robes from this beautiful fan made artwork from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/sly1dw/drew_the_kotor1_jedi_gang_in_prequelish_robes/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Perhaps Prequel Robes could be used as a base for these or even the new "K1 Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes" by N-DReW25. I'm really excited for this show too. I would rather just see more stories like this that just expand on the existing universe and lore. However I must admit when I saw This Article pop up for me I did start to get worried for the show. I prefer things to be standalone most of the time, but I will remain optimistic as this looks like some of the best Star Wars content in a while

@Mutilator57 Is correct. Plus Obsidian have said they were intending to make KOTOR 3 about the Exile going into the outer rim to find Revan and fight the "True" Sith Empire. This is what Chris Avellone the lead writer for Obsidian (at the time) said: “The third game involved you, as a player character, following where Revan went and then taking the battle to the really ancient Sith lords who are far more terrifying than the Darths that show up. These guys would just be monsters. These would have a level of power that was considerable, but at the same time you'd be able to dig more into their psychologies, and their personalities, their history, and even how they dealt with the player, how they talk with the player, the different powers they cultivated and developed, and for some of them like – they're the ancients, so they're not just ruling a solar system, [but] swathes of the galaxy. “So the places you travel to [you’d see] how they left their stamp on that world, or that solar system, or whatever collection of moons. You'd see how horrible that was. Part of that environment would tell a story about that. [That] would be a great, epic way to end the trilogy. The Old Republic are out there. TOR just changed the idea a bit so instead of it being a hidden empire, it was just random Sith emperor who was the best at everything. Also according to TOR this random emperor was manipulating Revan since the beginning of KOTOR 1 and Revan did actually fall to the dark side. KOTOR 2 told us that Revan never truly fell and was just trying to strengthen the galaxy because Revan knew there was a greater threat waiting for the right moment to strike. TOR is a fun game but Revan being manipulated the whole time basically destroys any plot ideas KOTOR 2 built

Actually now that you mention it... There isn't that much to suggest that I suppose. The trailers show very little. However I'm still in the - "its gonna be another reboot/remake" - camp. These are (in my opinion) the things which make it looks like a remake: Desert planet/Tatooine 2 (or Tatooine 3 if it's not Jakku), another Jabba sail barge action scene, the emperor appearing only to inevitably be defeated and the implied return of a Death Star level super weapon Those are the things I gather from the trailer. Then there are the things that I just assume like: Redemption of Kylo Ren similar to vader, the emperor being the man behind it all only to be defeated again, Lando helping the rebels/"resistance" by piloting the millenium falcon, the main character finding out some hidden truth about their family, bringing "balance" to the force again (even though Anakin already did that with Lukes help), a big party at the end of the movie and a bunch of ghosts chilling at the party at the end only this time with Lukes ghost too Hmmm I'm conflicted. I understand what you mean because of course there are many differences like canto bight, the snoke stuff and the lack of any sort of training scenes. For me the reason I see it as a remake is because the only things that stayed in my head were the remade scenes, as they felt the most important and kinda offended me the most. Like the battle of Hoth/Crait, finding a jedi hermit for training, a dark side vision in a cave, the first order kinda goes on the offensive just like the empire in ESB etc. All the other stuff was so bad I only remember the copy and paste stuff haha
