  1. The one from BoS? That could work too. How would I go about reskinning it, exactly?
  2. Hey everyone, For those who don't know, I'm currently in the midst of wrapping up my final entry in my KOTOR II Machinima Saga and I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me with a sequence I have planned. Essentially, what I'm looking for is a complete re-skin of a module in K1 to a completely PURE blue or green colour, literally all of it, to act as a blue/green screen for some compositing shots. I have one of these already set up for K2 (was made for me by someone else) and am looking for the same thing here, specifically, I was looking at re-skinning the Yavin IV Station. As it's one of -if not the- smallest module in the game, I figured it would be the easiest to do, but I may be wrong. If someone would be interested in taking up this task for me, or giving me some step-by-step instructions (I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to this kinda stuff), it would be greatly appreciated and you would receive credit for your contribution to the film. ~ DV EDIT: I have already looked at the old tutorial on here for re-skinning modules, but to no success.
  3. The official trailer has been released: Honestly, I'm just not hyped for this at all. Really not a fan of the guy playing Han, minus his one quip in the trailer to Chewbacca: "Yeah, well, what do you know?" he just does not feel like Han Solo to me, look-wise sure, but not getting the vibe from him. The only redeeming factor I can say so far is that Donald Glover looks SPOT ON for Lando.
  4. Hey guys, as a few of you may know I'm currently making a machinima series adapting TSL into a film series, for a certain segment I'm working on (and possible planned installments adapting K1) I need to find ALL the dialogue files for the party members in K1. Whereas TSL uses file names such as "kreia.dlg" for its companions, I understand K1 tends to use different names for its files, the only one I have located is Bastila's, which I believe is something . Running a search for files with a .dlg extension within my SWKotOR folder hasn't yielded any results, if anyone could offer some assistance and/or list the names for K1's party member .dlg files, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This looks brilliant, FF97! Keep an eye out for this to feature in my next machinima film... (You'll be fully credited, not to worry.)

just a comment, if you are going to port audio from k1, might as well credit Bioware as well, and not just Obsidian.

  8. I do like this alternative end to Phasma, it also gives Finn a chance to be a more serious character and less of the film's comic relief. HOWEVER, it reinforces a huge plot hole from TFA: If Phasma's armor can deflect laser blasts, why did she lower the shields on Starkiller Base? They wouldn't have hurt her. I re-watched the scene and Han DOES have his blaster aimed under her helmet at first, so sure, I buy that, but, when she's actually sat down and disabling the shields, Finn is stood a foot or two away aiming it AT her helmet. I don't know if that's just me being being nit-picky, but still. https://youtu.be/cwwer6_FCs4?t=1m4s I can see why Rian Johnson chose the version of her death we got, as it doesn't reinforce the plot hole as obviously, but it was still in his film we learnt Phasma's armor and deflect blasts to begin with, so I see at as more of a fault with TLJ than TFA.

    Saving Star Wars

Yeah, okay. Good luck getting enough people to do that.

I don't see that as a "just f*ck off" as you put it. You're allowed to enjoy it, you're also allowed to not enjoy it. As someone else said in this thread; if you really dislike it that much, you can always find a new franchise to love. Disney is not suddenly going to change course just because some fanboys on the internet don't like what they did. At the end of the day, that's a fact.
  11. This looks great, man! A definite permanent add to my override too when it’s released.
  12. To be fair to him, he did state early on in his vid that he was using footage from two playthroughs, a modded and un-modded one. So he didn't record any of it himself (I assume). With that said, he should've linked to the footage he used in the video description, though.
  13. Agreed with djh269, the lights look great. Good luck with the project!
  14. Side note (haven't had time to check out N-DReW25's suggestion yet): Does anyone know if these clone modules exist for any other modules in the game with the same ability to play certain cutscenes ?
  15. Hah. Loving the goatee Carth, he looks so suave. Though, don't know if I could take him seriously with that look.
  16. Maybe. The only reason I'm hesitant on using that mod is because it makes Carth look a lot older. Makes sense for TSL, sure, but he'd look younger in the prequels. I'm considering maybe using the Carth HD mod (I can't find it right now otherwise I'd link to it) .Though any other suggestions for Carth would be more than appreciated by anyone.
  17. Thanks for getting this topic started Sith Holocron! For those wondering this is for my planned K1 prequel series after I wrap up my final film. Basically, I want the entire game to have an entirely new feel and look to it. I'm very keen on using Jorak Uln's mods for the Endar Spire, Taris & Manaan, and so far have the 2012 mods by XediiXarwarz for Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyyk, Unknown World & Star Forge. But I welcome any suggestions from complete planet reskins, to character reskins and small adjustments to the game. (For example: DarthParametric's Taris escape cutscene adjustment is on my list.) The only mod I have ever had installed for Carth is jinger's Admiralty Mod and its TSLRCM patch.
  18. If anyone gets a chance, please check out Sith Holocron's latest blog entry: http://deadlystream.com/forum/blog/28/entry-249-blog-72-looking-for-mods-for-taris-and-endar-spire/ - He's helping me out, would really appreciate it!

  19. I'd have to disagree with you here. Just because a large group of people dislike/like something, doesn't lend it anymore merit than those who view otherwise. No one is (or should be saying) that your opinion matters less because you disagree. Sure, the more people that agree with you lends more credence to your belief that something is good or bad, but it doesn't make it fact. The same goes for those defending TLJ and saying "look at the Rotten Tomatoes score, look how many people agree with me". Although, I do agree that just stating a film is "art" as a counter argument to those who dislike it is also wrong to do. Also, it's worth noting that I am by no means a massive fan of TLJ. I personally believe that the good in it outweighs the bad, but I still have a LOT of problems with it. (I'm assuming this is in response to my earlier post about all film being subjective. Apologies if I've misread this.)
  20. Disliking something is fine. Liking something is also fine. Challenging someone's viewpoint (if you disagree) in a civil and polite manner is fine. Insulting and/or name-calling someone because they don't share your opinion (opinion, not fact, all art is subjective) is wrong. This is how we get toxic fan-bases. Don't agree with someone's opinion on a film? Cool, explain why, nicely, and move on. No one is forcing you to re-watch it. The same goes for people who like something. If you feel passionately about it, argue your points, nicely, see if you can change their mind. Don't force your viewpoint on someone who doesn't agree with it. For example: It baffles me how some people can truly enjoy all three of the prequels and even rank them above the new films, but that's my opinion, not a fact. It saddens me this topic even exists, we're all fans of Star Wars at the end of the day, that's why we're all here. TL;DR: Be mature & respectable when talking about films. Right now as a community, we're living up to the stereotype of hardcore Star Wars fanboys on the internet who aren't happy with anything.
  21. Apologies for going off topic but who was the original director for TLJ? I was always under the assumption it was Rian Johnson from the beginning.
