It'll probably be fine

Two thoughts: 1) They should have named in "Gone in 12 Parsecs" 2) Maybe they'll have Ron Howard voice over? Ron Howard Voice-Over: "They won't"

How to edit and create feats?
VarsityPuppet replied to Mellowtron11's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Short version: Can't be done Long version: You can pretty much only create weapon proficiency feats. Everything else is still hardcoded -
I think original B4-D4 has more pink-ish eyes. So maybe lightening his eyes a little. That said, all of this is amazing, and I can't wait for release
-
Not to mention the movie adaptation would probably be subpar, and most likely, many would be disappointed

You were right Haveayap. Although I wouldn't say TFA is a bad movie, I will say that I just don't like it that much. I think my lack of excitement for Episode 8 comes from that. Idk what it is, but I'm getting this weird feeling of bland sci-fi from the trailers. Maybe I'll be wrong?
-
I'm hoping the movie is better than the trailer. Thought it was underwhelming.

AMAAAAZING

True. That was only two cinnamon rolls though. Not an entire character model with a thousand spikes!
-
I think there are just too many spikes to model. I am just finishing up my first character model right now, and man it took a long time. Not to say you'd never find anyone who'd model this, but at least for the level of complexity, I think putting that effort towards modeling a KOTOR era character would result in more interest.

Do we know for sure that the limit comes from overall polygons and not, let's say.... the sheer amount of characters on one area? So for instance, suppose you made a new character model that was a row of, let's say 5 sith soldiers. Would that alleviate anything at all? That means 5 times less characters overall, so maybe worth giving it a shot?

Weird I don't remember any companion named that. Toss up between Lana and Kira -

Read Me I for one would love to see Ewan McGregor back as Obi-Wan, and of course they should try to make the movie as interesting and meaningful as possible. What do you guys think? Do we need an Obi-Wan movie? What should it be about? Is there a better character that should have their own spin-off film? Will they CGI Alec Guinness' face onto Ewan McGregor? Discuss

Oh yes, I am aware. Just speaking in general terms about main menu overhaul and whatnot
-
I'm sorry, I didn't want to open a can of worms. I can elaborate more. I think what seems off to me is that the background is too busy i comparison to the game's somewhat barebones UI. I like this idea of having more interesting backdrops, just the UI might have to be boldened up a bit in response. So if the UI is to be kept minimalistic, I think it makes sense to keep the background minimal as well. All this from my back-seat graphic designer mind Idk if it's useful or not
-
Cool ideas, but I wonder if less is more, at least for designing main menus. Maybe show the current planet? Or you could do something similar to SWTOR where you show the main player character (or one of the party members) in the Ebon Hawk

TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
VarsityPuppet replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Thanks for the shout-out Insidious, but I don't think I was involved in any of the testing process for TSLRP -

Okay, now this stuff is legit. I will be looking very closely at this code. I've been wondering about this for years, but never took the initiative to look into it. Thank you for your hard work, and I'd be honored if you continued to share more of it in the future. If I can learn anything from it I'd love to contribute as well I hope God blesses every single one of you toolmakers. ( You know who you are )
