Version 3.1
95,760 downloads
This is the next part of an ongoing series. The purpose of this mod is to bring the much more up-to-date design choices from SWTOR to Kotor. All textures have been made from scratch. The Overhaul also contains sophisticated Mass Effect 3 orientated high Quality animations. Update 3.0 out now! Safe to upgrade from 1.0 - and for those who downloaded 1.0 i highly recommend to get 3.0 since the difference is huge. This is a huge one - to catch the flair of SWTOR all animations have been redone from scratch again - the floor now contains cubemap based reflections & scratches. Further a new kolto animation & a HQ metalic tech texture have been implemented. Installation: Download the file, extract its contents with an archive extraction tool such as 7zip or WinRAR, then move the contents to your game's override directory Compatibility: This mod uses cubemaps, so there could be minor incompatibilites with mods that uses custom cubemaps too. ( but i actually dont know any mod that does that) Just to be on the safe side, i recommend to install my mod last. Beside that it should be compatible with everything that doesnt retexture the Sith Bases either at Taris or Manaan. Credits: I want to thank Darth Sapiens for his wonderful Cubemap-Ressource pack, which enabled me to do a lot of things that would otherwise been not possible. I also want to thank Xarwarz for using the hex edited mdl & mdx files from his Overhaul. That allowed me more variety on my panel retextures. -
1 pointHello everyone, I want to share with you my work in progress KotOR dialog overhaul project. It will be a revised dialog.tlk file for SW:KotOR v1.03, in the same spirit of Kainzorus Prime's "PC Response Moderation" Currently I am in the process of editing the dialog.tlk with all my (~7700) changes, so it's very much still a work in progress. Current status: released, please visit the downloads section To do: updates and revisions while playing the game

Inside this download, you will find several VERY useful tools. Almost all of these were made by stoffe originally and the only alteration I made was to make sure TSL Patcher did NOT check for the presence of the dialog.tlk file to verify the path you're installing the mod to. This was done to allow installing mods to the Workshop folders. Of note in this package are three files: 1. ReadMe, really.pdf - A read-me file that really should be read if you want to understand how to do something with the TSL Patcher. 2. nwnnsscomp.exe - A modified script compiler that TSL Patcher uses to substitute tokens (such as .2da row pieces) in source scripts (.nss files) and then compile the scripts. 3. nwscript.nss - As far as I'm aware, the nwscript.nss file from KotOR 2, required by nwnnsscomp.exe to compile scripts. Below are the original release thread descriptions for stoffe's work and I honestly don't think I could put it better than she already did years ago. TLK Ed: TSL Patcher (along with ChangeEdit): A few quick "how to" examples: Insert new branches into DLG files. ( http://web.archive.org/web/20150911133933/http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2135535&postcount=177 ) Install a New Player Appearance mod. ( http://web.archive.org/web/20150929073207/http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2168405&postcount=201 ) Troubleshooting: Q: I get a RichEdit line insertion error when trying to install mods. What's wrong? A: It seems a few people have odd versions of the RichEdit DLL files installed in their system that doesn't play nice with the colored text box component TSLPatcher uses. To work around this you could try to replace the RichEd DLL files with versions that should work. Extract the two DLL files from this archive and put them in your Windows\Windows32 folder. Move existing files with those names to a safe location first so you can restore them if this causes other problems! Do not overwrite them! Alternatively, if you don't want to mess with your DLL files, you could force TSLPatcher to use a plain text box for status messages rather than the colored/formatted one. To do this, use Notepad to open the changes.ini file found inside the tslpatchdata folder that came with the mod you wish to install. Under the [settings] section, change the value of the key PlaintextLog from 0 to 1. Q: I'm not seeing any Install Mod button, and the text field in the TSLPatcher window seems to extend behind the window boundraries. A: This odd problem some people experience seems to be tied to what screen resolution and pixel density is being used in your monitor settings, but I have been unable to replicate it or figure out exactly what's going on. As a workaround you can "click" on the Install button by using it's quick keyboard command. Pressing the [ALT] keys on your keyboard should start the installation process. Q: When trying to install a mod it complains that it's not a valid installation location. What's wrong? A: Make sure you are selecting the folder the game is installed in, not the override folder, when the TSLPatcher asks you where to install the mod. Q: When trying to install a mod it complains that access was denied to the dialog.tlk file. A: Make sure that your dialog.tlk file is not write protected. This file is found in the same folder as the swkotor.exe binary. To check if it's write protected and undo it, right-click on the file, pick Properties in the context menu and uncheck the write protected checkbox. Based on this request thread, this mod edits the Scoundrel class starter clothes to use the legs from the Scout class. It's a hybrid of the two models, with custom UVs to make use of both textures. Two versions are provided, the original Scoundrel jacket with the strip of pockets on the left, and one without the pockets. Additionally, the female texture for the pocketless version was edited to remove the strange detail on the right side. Simply place the desired version in your Override folder. Notes: This will is not compatible with any other mod that alters the Scoundrel clothes model (PFBBS/PMBBS), that alter the Scoundrel textures (PFBBS01/PMBBS01), or change the Scoundrel's (small player size) appearance.2da entries for the ModelB/TexB columns. The models used by the Scoundrel class are by default "small". I have upsized these models to "medium", the same as the Scout class (and what TSL uses for all classes). You may wish to use a mod that changes the rest of the Scoundrel body models to medium, or edit appearance.2da yourself to do so. -
1 pointNever overwrite the MOD files manually. That will break your game. Skipping pre-existing ones is intended behaviour. TSLPatcher will inject the changes to the existing one. If you have been doing that, then yes, you probably will have to not only restart, but scrap everything and start with a clean install.

1 pointLol, see he's a womanizer, and from a personal experience I can totally see where she's coming from in wanting to kill him. Be so easy to do more than just leave him there to die, especially after he flirts with my version of Revan, as well as Bastila, and if he flirted with Juhani and Mission, since he doesn't I'm going to go assume/read between the lines and guess he's also a bigot, given his commentary concerning droids as well *cuddles her precious T3 and HK*

0 pointsThe amount of time I've had to spend this semester on my senior research methods capstone PROPOSAL was absurd. So glad it's submitted and over with (for now).
