2 pointsHello everyone, I want to share with you my work in progress KotOR dialog overhaul project. It will be a revised dialog.tlk file for SW:KotOR v1.03, in the same spirit of Kainzorus Prime's "PC Response Moderation" Currently I am in the process of editing the dialog.tlk with all my (~7700) changes, so it's very much still a work in progress. Current status: released, please visit the downloads section To do: updates and revisions while playing the game

2 pointsTo all my friends that I have made over the years on this site, I cannot begin to tell you how much your friendship has meant to me. Unfortunately, my activity on Deadly Stream will be ceasing to a halt (aside from the occasional download) due to having orders from the United States Navy. OCS here I come!

1 pointStar Wars : Knights of the Old Republic II : The Sith Lords : The Expanded Galaxy Project The Expanded Galaxy Project aims to combine both games into one installation utilizing the second games engine and allowing the player to select whether to choose the first, or the second game, as well as the bonus option of Brotherhood of Shadow : Solomon's Revenge, an excellent mod for the first game which I have also ported over to the second game. All three parts of the project now have an installer! Which handles everything. The project is still very much a work in progress, I suggest just trying out the main project for most users as the port and brotherhood are likely to have a lot more bugs! Brotherhood Of Shadow : Solomon's Revenge! This is a short trailer for the KotOR Port, a part of the Expanded Galaxy Project, the trailer was made for me by CatDaddy407, so a big thanks to them for that! I thought I would drop a link to the video here for people to see, though it doesn't show anything special, but it does highlight the state of the project quite well. NOTE : The port is currently not available on DeadlyStream and is only available on ModDB or from the GitHub repository. NOTE : The port is an add-on for the Expanded Galaxy Project. Expanded Galaxy Project The goal of the Expanded Galaxy Project is to provide as much additional content for both games as possible utilising the second games engine. Please join the Discord to find out more about the project and to get access to the latest patches. ( Link at the bottom of this post ) Install Instructions Progress & Plans Current progress for the Expanded Galaxy Project overall is as follows : 1 : Expanded Galaxy Project : Main : Demo (Complete) <-- 100% --> The base of the project is complete. ( Early Demo ) 2 : Expanded Galaxy Project : Port : Demo (Complete) <-- 100% --> The base of the port is complete. 3 : Expanded Galaxy Project : Brotherhood Of Shadow : Solomon's Revenge : Demo (Complete) <--- 100% ---> Brotherhood Of Shadow : Solomon's Revenge has been ported in it's entirety and seems to work almost flawlessly. ( Early Demo ) There is still a lot left to be done, much of which is not documented anywhere currently. Mod Compatibility Overall I have heard that people generally have success installing other mods alongside this but not always or entirely, there are also still many issues remaining in the project on it's own. Currently I do not know what mods do or do not work with my project but I do plan to try and provide compatibility for as many mods as possible in the future. Note : texture, model, item and many other simple mods should work if installed after the rest of the required or optional files for the project. KotOR Modding Tools Here is a list of tools that made this project possible. Included Mods Below is a list of all mods that are included with the Expanded Galaxy Project. Contributions Here is a list of contributors that helped early on with advice on KotOR modding or who contribute to the project heavily. I wanted to say a big thank you to all the creators of the tools that made this project possible and I wanted to provide an accurate list of the tools I used to make this project possible here, I also want to say thank you to everybody that has supported or contributed ideas to the project, if your name is not found anywhere above please feel free to let me know and I will make sure to include you and your contribution above. 1 pointView File [K1] DarthVarkor’s Dann Kasra “Before the Reveal” - PC Replacement Soundset AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 3 MAR 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: If you’ve seen DarthVarkor’s series, perhaps you might have considered making your character sound like his. With this mod for KotOR1, now you can. I asked DarthVarkor to record all of the lines that the PC says. He even threw in a couple of extra takes (“p_plyermw_slct9 (improvised extra) and “p_plyermw_stlh4”) as his character might be more likely to say the lines that way. You could rename those lines to replace the normal lines if you do desire. If you decide to do that, be sure not include the original line you’ll be replacing. As his series’ main character hasn’t had the spoiler-laden reveal in this sound set, he’s not wearing a mask so there’s no filter here. This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me. Installation: ----------------- You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow. 1) Now that you’ve made your choices above, move the original KotOR1 files that come with the game to a place you can find them. (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!) Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder. Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful. “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!” Uninstall: -------------- Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder. Legal Disclaimer: ------------------------- All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless notified in writing of permission granted by me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested and approved by me in writing before your use. Special Thanks: ----------------------- DarthVarkor: For recording the lines so his fans can play as his character! You have seen his movies, right? Here’s a preview of next feature featuring this character. Submitter Sith Holocron Submitted 03/03/2019 Category Mods K1R Compatible Yes

1 pointI am taking a very good look to all the wonderfully documented entries. I noticed how you have improved the dialogue making changes to a few lines which unfortunately would no longer match the VOs (ex. "kidnapping" replacing "stealing" or "the entire fate of the galaxy" replaced by "the fate of the entire galaxy"). While I can appreciate how the text itself becomes better, I have myself chosen in such cases to let it go. At 2406 I would suggest a "!" after "worry"- At 2533 there is a typo (at least in the documentation): "to". At 4118 typo ("yo" -> "you") Entry 5346 appears twice. At 6831 the correction is missing. At 18397 "almost" is written twice. At 19195 you change "loathe" to "loathed" but I find the original text to be correct. At 19465 typo: payed -> paid 19543 has a double entry. At 21287 self-righteousness -> self-righteous At 21573 not going risk -> not going to risk At 21808 want leave -> want to leave 24769 should really be 24768 At 24781 "keep" should be changed to "kept" 24832 suggested change: "You think you can cheat me out of my hard-earned credits and live?" At 24833 "settle 400 credits" -> "settle for 400 credits" At 24834 "exited" -> "excited" 24874 suggested change: "Davik plans to make credits off the deathly sick? That's truly despicable." 25149 suggested change: "Sure. Run back to the surface before things get too hot around here, brave soldier." At 25156 "there" -> "here" At 25253 "it's" -> "its" At 25254 "dispicable" -> "despicable" - also suggested change: "Have you always been so self-centered?" At 25280 and 25311 "I'm going" -> "I'm not going" At 26083 "conviced" -> "convinced" and "realtionship" -> "relationship" At 26273 "you" -> "they" At 26497 suggested tweak: "I'd like to see you try and operate that communicator without arms." At 26501 suggested change: remove "Vulkar" At 26523 suggested tweak: "I need information. I suggest you answer my questions before I decide you're more useful to me dead than alive." At 26657 suggested change (the revision doesn't fit in with the dialogue): "You don't seem to understand so I'll make it very simple: the girl, or your life. Now." At 26697 suggested change: "It's nothing personal, but the Vulkars have Bastila and it's easier to get her back directly from them." At 27128 suggested change: "I don't like your face. I can rearrange it for you for free or you can pay up to keep it the way it is." At 27130 suggested change: "[Persuade] I'll leave you alone... but that privilege is going to cost you." At 27177 "theeth" -> "teeth" At 27486 suggested change: "[Force Persuade] You need the business and will gladly waive the landing fee." At 27750 typos "payed" -> "paid", "your" -> "you're" and suggested change: "Listen, you crook: you come up with a fair price or you won't be around to enjoy your large profits." At 27760 suggested change (the revision doesn't fit in with the dialogue): "You have a deal." -> "I will pay the asked price." At 28696 "possible" -> "possibly", "burried" -> "buried" At 29271 suggested change: "I've just slaughtered tens of Sand People warriors. Sweeten the deal and the last thing you learn in your life won't be how easily I could kill you too." At 29805 "of" -> "off" At 30965 "disposed them" -> "disposed of them" At 31180 typo (original) "did really did deceive you" -> "did really deceive you" At 31693 suggested change: "feeling" -> "blow" At 32586 "payed" -> "paid" At 32938 "decypher" -> "decipher" and suggested change: "stowaway. The rudimentary language she speaks, while sounding like Mandalorian, translates into pure gibberish. With some effort, it might be possible to decipher her made-up language. Getting her off the ship by force is also a possibility." At 33303 "wether" -> "whether" At 39304 "het" -> "get" At 39339 "stay" -> "stayed" At 42719 "look up Mika" -> "look him up" At 48872 suggested change: "Leave him alone." At 48980 "to time" -> "no time" I will return with more suggestions/questions as I proceed further. It will take quite some time. Oh and ironically, in your post above, you have misspelled "omitted" *chuckles* Thanks for your invaluable work! Cheers! PS It would have been much easier to be able to download the change-log. Perhaps you can consider allowing for it?

1 pointOh man, they looked fun [and educate]! I should have learned english from you, not BioWare, hahah. And happy gaming too!
-
1 pointI approve. Is it just for base 1.03, or does it also include changes made by K1R?
-
1 pointHello! Excellent! I have myself authored something very similar and I will be glad to go through your change log and see if I have missed some typos. Cheers!

1 pointAlmost ready with a new tutorial for my Recruit Function mod resource. Would people prefer it in a video format or written format? Or both?

1 pointThese modules from K1 are good job! I am very interested in how the expansions will stick to the storyline. TSL's main plot was very deep and much darker than K1, which could make it a better RPG, but it doesn't because the game seems kind of rushed. Nar Shaddaa is the only longer planet, Dantooine and Onderon could be great but everything is rushed in there (albeit Dxun by itself is OK) and Korriban is just a giant red rock of solitude and depression (M4-78 expanded the story in that point quite well, without the droid planet Korriban feels so rushed that it makes the story overall quite lacking). Having this in mind, I very much look forward to any additions of new quests and planets which could compensate what I missed from K1 - longer planets filled with content. Good luck with your work!

1 pointSo, big problem with the TSL Patcher in this mod. It says "File Not Found! Please locate the "heads.2da" ("heads.2da") file." • Installation started 16/08/2018 3:41:48 PM... • Installing unmodified files... • Copying file P_Helena.tga to the override folder... • Copying file p_helenah.mdl to the override folder... • Copying file p_helenah.mdx to the override folder... • Error: Critical error: Unable to locate file to patch, "heads.2da" file not found! (GEN-9) There is no heads.2da file included in the mod or already in my main/override folder so the patcher cannot find it to add the changes to it. Any fix for this? Update: 18/08/2018 - This mod also requires an appearance.2da file in the override folder, which also isn't included in the mod, so the patcher isn't able to locate it either. Basically, the mod doesn't currently work from a clean install.

0 pointsI am very happy to hear that you are doing better and have a more stable situation now. I hope you do manage to find the job you are wishing for and a nice home, and wish you all the best! It is great news that you have resumed work on the Expanded Galaxy Project, I can't wait to play or at least beta test the Yavin Orbital Station mod! Best wishes and success!
