    so here is the HD visas part of my ongoing texture project series, I desired to maintain the vanilla "look", but with much higher quality textures, I feel I have sufficiently achieved this, (i took a little liberty on the dark side transitions, but they are definitely not "movie style") the usual disclaimers apply, and of course you don't need my permission to reuse this, as long as it's not for profit.

    I noticed that in KoTOR 1 there's a lot of Sith Apprentices and Dark Jedi that you have interactions/battles with, but from what I understand the term "Dark Jedi" is used for practitioners of the darker aspects of the force that have no allegiance to anyone but themselves, they are mostly turned Jedi that have no specific affiliation with a certain group. This is what I've picked up from the Darth Bane novels anyway. So is it correct to call the random Dark Jedi you encounter Dark Jedi and not something like Sith Acolyte, or Sith Student / Apprentice? And maybe change the names of Sith Apprentices to Sith lords or something like that. Even in Dark Malaks/ Revans army there should be Marauders/Assassins and Sith lords. Just my thoughts.

    I had some free time and decided to work a bit on mdledit. It will now calculate the tangent space vectors for all the nodes that don't have them when a binary model is loaded. This means that you'll be able to open a binary model, enable bumpmapping on one of the textures and save it, and it'll work (well, as long as mdledit produces good smoothing group results). Another thing I finally implemented is when you compare a model to the one opened in mdledit, if you highlight some bytes, it will show you the compared-to file's bytes instead, meaning you can compare the values inside mdledit. I also fixed some issues with the GUI in hex view, as well as how mdledit resizes when hex mode is entered and exited. There were some smaller improvements as well.     Happy Life Day, everyone. During recent discussions I became aware that some of you remember and even have a peculiar desire to see the comics I made many moons using screenshots from the KOTOR games. I then also realized that ten years have passed since then. I started working on them in 2006 and allowed the first batch to escape onto the internets in August 2007. It's now December 2017, so I compiled everything I released all those years ago, plus some extra, and I'm calling it the 10th anniversary edition. I also added some commentary ten years later about how I think they're terrible. So, for those interested, here is the 244 page PDF. Before anyone asks, there are no plans at this time to continue or reboot the series in any manner. I'm not unilaterally opposed to the idea, though, but I have too many projects right now. Still, I'd welcome any feedback and suggestions and whatever in the event that I ever change my mind.

    Thanks. As much as I complained about everything in my inter-chapter commentary and elsewhere, I do still think it's a decent format and I'd like to see more done with it. I'm sure I could manage better things with what I've learned both in the game and with importing the game models in 3ds Max. Or maybe someone else could do that and then I could read it instead.

    SpaceAlex included a Xor in the NPC Enhancement Pack: The mod was never completed but it was released as a resource. I'm not sure where it's hosted now, though.

    Thank you for the reply! Oh and I have another project to suggest for you. Xor, the blatant speciesist who wants to buy Juhani from you, does not have a unique appearance when he is human(He's human on the Xbox version and a Twi'lek on the PC version). As a Twi'lek, he has a unique appearance. Think you could make one for him?

    Nice mod! Looks like this is almost completely finished! One issue though, I noticed that her voice seems to echo. I'd prefer it if she had her original voice instead, can you make this an option? Again, great work!

    After many ups and downs, I finished. Unfortunately is not as good as the one that Darth Parametric made, but without any better... Like Kol Skywalker would say: "You take what is given"

    I am happy to announce that, on the day Porting is allowed, that my Kotor Tool has been fixed meaning GenoHaradan Legacy and my K1 Gameplay Improvement Mod are back in development. If things go well behind the curtain I may even have some new exciting projects ready to begin!

    I was thinking of a way you could keep her original voice for the Taris encounter, but still have the option for additional VO for an expanded version where she escapes and you fight her later on another planet. You could say she was severely wounded in the first fight and needed to have cybernetics implanted. That would free you up to use a robotic sort of voice filter to distort whoever did the new VO and provide an easy explanation for why she has a different voice in a subsequent encounter.
