  1. Without any planning what-so-ever, I can say that we'd just need Czerka personnel and HK-47. (Obviously, HK-47 is the big hang-up...)
  2. I've thought about the Sand People Messiah as a separate mod. It could be done eventually. As to the Swoop Upgrades, we can't restore that in this mod, but I have it working in KotOR 2 (with some custom-made items as the upgrades). The only issue is that the GUI wasn't fully programmed, so you won't see any real stats or item descriptions in the Upgrade Menu.

You'd need permission from RyuzakiPwn first, unless his read-me says otherwise. And I haven't checked the mod, but it seems to just be textures, so there could be porting concerns if the files (or something with the same UVMapping really...) aren't in KotOR 1. And depending on the model/mapping, you could need to re-UVMap some K1 models to fit the texture.

  6. Oh yeah... The first bug I fixed for K1R was a misnamed waypoint tag in the .git file for the post-Leviathan scene... The misnamed tag was preventing the game from finding the waypoint, so the game never spawned Juhani in the scene...
  7. Well, I would probably just take note of it for K1R 1.2. I imagine my verdict would be to make his line first in the DLG and tack the party member ones on to that line... Thoughts?
  8. It's not unused if it showed up in the playthrough. That being said, I just checked the post-Leviathan Carth dialog, and that line ONLY shows up if you...: 1. Have NO Mission in the party (how?!) 2. Have NO Juhani in the party (easily possible; just kill her) 3. Have NO Jolee in the party (easily possible, if Kashyyyk is the last planet)
  9. You'd just lose the sleeping Hurka that is later replaced via script with the real moving one.
  10. I believe we edited the placeables list in the .git file for lev_m40aa to add the sleeping Hurka, but I can't think of anything else.
  11. Hmm... Is it the quote above or the sleeping bag and flannel hoodie that's making my face feel hot? I don't mind verbose. You should see some of the chats I have with other modders (Sith Specter and I've gotten pretty long-winded on Sleheyron a few times...) Hey, why be Hoarder Keeper of Knowledge if you aren't around to share it? I've made it my business to learn the engine.
  12. Well, here's mine at least (VP said it reminded him quite a bit of Bloodrayne, which I saw my brother playing after I released the mod): http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/144-reskin-of-pfha03/ Come to think of it, that was actually my very first released mod (prior to that, my only real modding work was reskinning Glovemaster's Halo Energy Sword)... The other mod was by miro42: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/699-mara-jade-pc-for-tsl/ And you're a junkie? I'm the poor insane workaholic who hasn't found anything better to do for the past five and a half years... (Crap, it's been that long and I'm still finding things to do?!)
  13. Not sure what you'd call it, but it's like an audiophile (but towards cameras), but I am perhaps a bit too fond of the animated cameras and the camera work on cutscenes, so I could always lend a hand when I'm off break.
  14. There are honestly too few red-heads... Between your's, mine, and I think a Mara Jade mod, that's all I can think of for mods. I know the reds are rare, but they shouldn't be that rare!
  15. Besides our recent chats on LF, I had only met you by reputation and through your work. I don't actually recall telling you that I was self-taught, so thanks for taking the time to do a bit of research. If you need to know anything (about me, about new tools, or just getting back in the saddle) feel free to either PM me or I'm almost constantly on Skype.
  16. Basically, what you need to know is the following: (I'm assuming you are already able to manually edit .2da files) 1. heads.2da's row number goes in the "normalhead" column of the appearance.2da. 2. The game uses one of three appearance rows for each Player Character, depending on your class (hence the Small, Medium, Large). 3. Following #2, portraits.2da's uses the Medium row for a default reference (the appearancenumber column), and the appearance_s and appearance_l columns reference the Small and Large, respectively. Also, you'll want to set "ispc" to 1 instead of 0; otherwise the head won't show up in the Character Creation. 4. For rows in the changes.ini that say "CopyRow", you'll need to either right-click the small brown-grey space to the left of the row number and select Copy Row (then enter some info in the bottom blank row, right-click the same brown-grey box and select "Paste Row"), OR if that doesn't work, you will need to manually enter all of the row's info into the blank row at the bottom. 5. ALWAYS add a row number, and make sure it's one higher than the previous one. 6. When saving a .2da file, you need to click on some other section of the file before saving.
  17. Okay, this will be much easier if you tell me the name of the mod and link it, so I can check out the changes.ini file myself. You were asking about a 2DAMEMORY token from the appearance.2da and then start posting the portraits and heads.2da files, so I have no clear picture of what is going on right now...
  18. Could you post the entire edits for that part, instead of just the 2DAMEMORY part? It's kind of hard to get a good view of the overall picture, otherwise... For example, is that a CopyRow or an AddRow?
  19. In this particular case, the TSLPatcher is copying an already existing row in the heads.2da file and adding it as a new one at the bottom. The RowIndex=41 part is telling the TSLPatcher that it needs to copy row 41. Any fields besides the RowIndex=41 part are changes that need to be made to the row after it's copied.
  20. I've tried it with various tokens and even the custom tokens, but it seems that it just isn't a part of the tokens' functionality. The engine simply will not parse them unless it's in dialog in K1.
  21. In that case, it would make more sense to request what the items have in their descriptions or properties, but I'll wait for the guy to answer.
  22. No porting allowed, and those two items are specifically only found in KotOR 2.
  23. Besides splicing the audio? It's tricky no matter which way you look at it, but the scenes do help with the Handmaiden's "arc"...
  24. I'll try to be there, at least for a little bit, Xuul. Also, I fixed your YT link, forgot the 'u' in the address.

I don't understand what you mean with the shuttle scenes. The movies, or the TSLRCM in-game cutscenes? What looks bad/garish about them? As to the HK50 one, maybe a health decrease or something?
