  1. I'm with you. I honestly thought SH was going to have fun when he shouted "APRIL FOOL'S!!!"
  2. If you have a KSE.ini file, please paste the contents here. Also, do you have a saves folder in your KotOR 2 folder? If you still have issues, try this: Link
  3. Not surprising, since the clone is a different .utc file entirely. The Influence only affects the real Bao Dur's .utc file, so only that one would change.
  4. Same issue, even with no Bao Dur mods. From what I could see (I think I had issues de-compiling some scripts), the copy Bao Dur either wasn't erased or there was a tag mismatch and the erase code couldn't find the object. A separate Bao Dur just stands there with no conversation or use after you train him to be a Jedi; the cutscene NPC never got destroyed, for some weird reason.
  5. I'll take the hand, but I'd prefer to earn the maiden.
  6. File Name: Handmaiden - Fit and Athletic File Submitter: Fair Strides File Submitted: 28 Mar 2016 File Category: Mods TSLRCM Compatible: Yes Handmaiden - Fit and Athletic by Fair Strides Description: This mod started out as a request by Malkior to tweak Handmaiden's underwear model and re-shape her bra (and make her waist human). However, we got down to critiquing Handmaiden's body model and I tweaked some things here and there till it was about right. Sadly, never did manage to re-shape her bra like he wanted it to be. Over the course of tweaking her body, I decided to go in and make her LS and DS clothes match the changes to her underwear model and did the same for her Dancer model, which was the most extensive since it showed the most skin. I've widened Handmaiden's waist to be human but still attractive, made the indent between her shoulder blades more shallow (in her vanilla model, the dip is very noticeable...), made the curve of her lower-back more shallow (felt the vanilla indent didn't look quite right), and then widened her upper arms. That last one was because she's quite fit and muscular by nature, yet her upper arms look pretty flat and weak. Just a simple re-size later and now she has a bit of barely-noticeable muscle on her upper arms. This mod is both compatible with TSLRCM and does not require TSLRCM to be installed. Installation: Simply run the TSLPatcher and direct it to your KotOR2 folder. Uninstallation: Delete the following files from the Override: P_HandmaidenBA.mdl P_HandmaidenBA.mdx P_HandmaidenBB.mdl P_HandmaidenBB.mdx P_HandmaidenBD.mdl P_HandmaidenBD.mdx PFBLHandM.mdl PFBLHandM.mdx Also, be sure to take the appearance.2da file from the backup folder (located where you're installing this from) and put that in your Override folder. Credits: Malkior for the request. Malkior and LiliArch for the continual discussion/debate on various aspects of Handmaiden's anatomy (even if it did get a bit weird at times, it was fun ). 8. I ask because 9 times out of 10 with this glitch, someone used KSE or a mod to make them a Jedi at the start of the game.
  9. Did either of you do any save-game editing in KSE, like your class?
  10. With the Vulkar Coward REDUX mod, you should probably reinstall with the "Twi'lek with K1R dialog" option until I fix the last install option for 1.2. Also, will need a save from before entering the Vulkar Base.
  11. JC: I get what you're saying and have done that once before myself with K1R. I imagine Kex would be asking me soon anyways, so I'll see what I can do for this.
  12. Hopefully you have a save from before entering the base entirely... because unless you have a specific mod besides K1R, you have an incompatibility and will need to restart the Vulkar Base. The reason is because that Green Twi'lek should be a Human in K1R with slightly different dialog.
  13. Successfully saved a .2da file without a tool! Let the progress continue on the Toolset!!! :D

  14. Cool your jets, SIC... Hassat Hunter said to "Verify your files", which he assumed you understood since you're using the Steam version of the game. If you right-click the game in your Steam library, go to the Properties, and check in the Local Files tab, a button should be there saying "Verify Integrity of Game Cache...". This will cause Steam to verify your files and make sure nothing's corrupted.
  15. To the right of the armory door is a locked control room. Inside there is an NPC that can unlock the Armory's Elevator door.
  16. For the record I did give step-by-step instructions on how to do this in the Improved AI thread.
  17. That's just a factor with editing items. When editing items, you must re-obtain the item (preferably after getting rid of all your other copies of the item) to see the changes. Similar, you only need a save from before entering a level if you're editing things that happen when the level is first loaded (like spawned creatures, containers, or other stuff). If something is spawned or happens based on an event in the level, you usually just need a save from before that happens (like if a creature is spawned after an encounter, you'd just need a save from before the encounter). For things like dialogs or scripts, 90% of the time, you can get away with re-activating them without having to restart the game. With new scripts that are made while the game is running (or really any file that is made while the game is running), you will need to restart the game for it to use the file. For textures and most likely models, you will have to restart the game for it to register changes to the files.
  18. Good news! Version 1.2 is up, and has been tested by two other people besides myself! Now if anyone has a problem with the mod... report it soon.
  19. Actually, that particular "bonus" is probably stoffe making grenades work like mines... You see, in K2, mines get a bonus to damage by directly adding the Demolitions skill. Most mines also get a bonus to their range, but it's the Demolitions skill divided by a number (usually 2 or 3).
  20. Once again, I will ask stoffe. Also, I'm not sure it's possible to make powers that only the AI get, though you could try removing the forcehostile and forcefriendly entries in the spells.2da row (set them to ****). As for just mirroring the K1R difficulty option, all you need is KotOR Tool. You'd open the difficultyopt.2da file in KotOR Tool, go to the last row, set the name column to 1322, change the label column to "Impossible", and the last entry in that row is the multiplier effect for the difficulty setting. You can adjust that yourself, but for reference, K1R sets it to 3.0, literally double Difficult. You would then click somewhere else in the file and then save the .2da to your Override folder.
  21. I don't know if it's in visualeffects.2da or not, but I will mention that the holographic overlay might be tied to turning on/off the Frame Buffer Effects option. I know that the freelook effects and some of the camera effects are disabled with that option turned off, so there's a chance...
  22. Sorry, "streamwaves" folder is the one you want.
  23. You can record your audio as either a .wav or a .mp3, add it to the main streamvoices folder, and name it exactly like the file you're wanting to replace.
