I was discussing a mod over on the KotOR subreddit when the following questions occurred to me: When is a KotOR mod an actual restoration? When isn't it? How does the average person in this community make that determination? As that seems an interesting avenue to explore, I'll open this topic to you: What are the boundaries you would personally consider to make that determination? (Use your own words and arguments for this.) There is another advantage to having a firm position stated on this as well: If and when you point out something that - in your opinion - doesn't meet your standard of a restoration, you can simply link to your formalized statement on it here in this very thread.

If you're using the Steam version of M4-78 EP - which is newer than any version posted elsewhere - I suggest also posting on Steam to acquire answers as well. A question: Are you using the Workshop versions of TSLRCM and M4-78 EP? I hesittate to go much further with this assistance due to my complete inexperience with using the Workshop. However, others are sure to know more both here and definitely on Steam's forums. (If you get a reply over on Steam that works, please let us know what it was in this thread.)

I have a suggestion: why not post a picture of the head you want as the base? Then find a picture of a real life person that you'd like that head to be reskinned as.

Read this post. Follow the instructions. Bug reports for TSLRCM require the format in the linked thread. All questions and answers are important but listing the mods (and providing the links to them) are incredibly so. (Moving this to the TSLRCM thread as well)

There is now a pinned thread in both the TSLRCM and M4-78 EP sections. Locking this one. Any questions about this issue that remain can be answered by staff.

After recent discussions on Deadly Stream on issues related to porting materials between KotOR1 and KotOR2, the staff has confirmed that both the end credits for TSLRCM and its add-on mod M4-78 Enhancement Project have the music track "The Old Republic" (from KotOR1) as part of the backing music. As that violates Deadly Stream poilcy, we have hidden both TSLRCM and M4-78 Enhancement Project from the download section at Deadly Stream as a temporary measure. We fully expect both mods to return with replacement end credit movies to resolve the issue at some point. We will still be answering questions about the mods in their appropriate section at Deadly Stream. Those that can't wait to download the mods can do so at the following locations. TSLRCM 1.8.5 can be downloaded on this MODDB page. M4-78 Enhancement Project version 1.2 can be downloaded on this MODDB page.
