  1. Happens when the character doesn't innately have the required feat - bonus feat property doesn't cut it. Idk if you can do it in K1, but in TSL you can script it in: void main() { GrantFeat(43,GetObjectByTag("Cand")); }

    Ragged Refugees

    Version 1.0

The drowtrodden residents of the Refugee Sector always appeared a bit too clean to me, dressed in the same outfit as your player character no less. Now they'll look the part with my implementation of an unused clothing variant (slightly edited) and a second one ported from the first game. Also applies to refugees by the landing pad. Credits: Fred Tetra for KotOR Tool. stoffe for TSLPatcher and ERFEdit, with updates by Fair Strides.

  5. Noted. I'll do it when I muster the energy to comb through the first two planets lol.
  6. Hey Salk! I might have overlooked something, which ones are you refering to? Besides not wanting to trivialize already easy regular trooper encounters, I myself just don't consider the average army mook to be an inherent bad guy no more than I'd consider a random republic soldier to be a good guy on the DS/LS scale. Checked again, they left him neutral like almost everything else. I figured if you get to the point where you fight him then obviously the dialogue to complete his redemption never took place.
  7. If I'm not misremembering I've seen this error reported on another thread before, it throws when the modder mistakenly puts .2das or something else into the gff list in the tslpatcher of course. This isn't the case here, it looks to be on your end only which makes it harder to troubleshoot. Sorry for not being of any help.
  8. I still say that you should scavenge what you can and upload lol
  9. This is something I'm just wondering, many modders do a little something for themselves and figure why not share it, while others take a more "serving the masses" approach. I personally don't use everything I've made, namely my early crappy retextures and some other random additions. Curious to know.
  10. Title. Also is it possible to move pictures out of your album without deleting them?
  11. View File Weapons & Armor, Uncut ...Expand your arsenal with the newly unearthed lost artifacts of the Old Republic... Welcome! I gladly present this mod which restores nearly all the equipable items cut from KotOR due to some reason or another. Most of them are pretty standard fare, but they no doubt bring even more variety to the game's inventory and are absolutely full of flavour, I'm sure you restoration afficionados out there will appreciate it. While the items themselves are official, come up by BioWare, their implementation was done at my discretion, though I did take care to follow developer notes wherever I could find them. Some small features have been brought over from Misc. Nitpicks (visit to see details) INSTALLING Run the TSLPatcher and choose between one of the two options, the default package or the "Plus" package. The latter includes some tasteful (disclaimer: bias) changes done by me and more restorations of items I deemed useless or redundant (ie: Teta's Royal Band). I should warn you to choose your option carefully because you'll only be able to switch it after uninstalling the previous one clean, which for most mods with module injections, if not done right away with the proper backups will turn from a tedious matter to a near impossible one. In most cases this can only be cleanly achieved though a reinstall of the game. I also recommend installing my own K1 Armor Nitpicks or JC's Mandalorian Armor for K1 (these are compatible with each other by the way) as they will compliment this mod well. All icons were designed to look good alongside vanilla ones and I won't be doing high resolution versions for them. If the authors of any HD icon packs want to include icons for this mod they're hereby allowed to, I'll link them here. Ignore any warnings about skipping files during installation, that's normal patcher procedure. Errors are not, however. COMPATIBILITY "Weapons & Armor, Uncut" is compatible with the K1 Community Patch but I wouldn't advise to install it alongside the Restoration Project due to overlaps. If using the "Plus" install then any mod that changes any .uti files inside this tslpatchdata folder will be overwritten in that regard. I can't vouch for virtually every mod in existence (were you expecting me to do that?) but all my other stuff is compatible. This mod only works with the English version of Knights of the Old Republic. I did not use string references anywhere, but if there is enough demand for localization support then I will redo it that way and leave the translation to the interested party. 13. What's up people, just passing by to announce, to anyone that's interested, that I'm restoring all the equipable weapons, armor etc. that were cut from the final release for whatever reason (around 30 give or take). This isn't a grand or ambitious project by any means, I don't even think it warrants a WIP thread, but lately I haven't been feeling like modding kotor anymore. I do get sick of looking at those unfinished mod folders however, so by posting this here it's almost like a promise to keep. Planning to send this thing out this month! Also yay hype.

    Misc. Nitpicks

Saul Karath and The One don't drop their npc-only weapons anymore. A bit counter nature for most to intentionally gimp themselves with this change, I know it's off putting, but it bothered me since they were obviously not supposed to drop.
  15. He runs his brother's shop if you arrest him @todevuch Can't say I'm qualified enough to tinker with the random loot system, but I could be able to do something about the salvager trader. Don't remember her selling any unique crystals though, the only ones that come to mind are the Hurrikaine and Qixoni.

Many thanks StellarExile! Two sets of militia armor are currently obtainable when you gain access to the Khoonda building garage. The mando armor is a mix: the marine colored leather/mesh underlay is a heavily edited redrob's while the front light cyan pieces are purely his (edit: also the side purse). The rest was just me. I'm not sure I'm certain how it's pronounced either, my best bet is a series of *oinks*.

I always differentiate when I'm doing something another modder has done before me, otherwise it would be redundant (not to mention sleazy on my behalf). I try to refrain from changing stuff too much, but the Yusanis shield icon was a tad overused. And the Beast-Rider flight armor, as you know, was just a lousy combat suit so I couldn't help it. You would be right. The .mod inclusion was just to be on the safe side, bandwidth not being too much of an issue these days I figured it was worth the trade off to have a bigger file size but being able to provide to users who don't use TSLRCM. Also, you *did* make those replacements (you would know after all), it was me that did a quick glance at it and just saw the docking bay guy. Interesting decision to involve the beast-riders into the Onderon conflict by the way, the beast handler change was the most tasteful one could possibly do to integrate them in. I think it would be pretty cool to have a mod to feature them more heavily, I really appreciated their faction in the ToJ comics. Perhaps have some inner conflict between them, some Beast-Riders taking the loyalist side since they're not particularly fans of the Sith. Well, they're not D-package like, I just restored two unused icons from CON 12 and 14 classes while also giving some much needed variety to others with leftover k1 icons. As for the militia armor I just went with the most hassle-free route to be honest. Oh there is one thing I forgot to change also, the Reinforced Fiber Armor and Echani Shield Suit are swapped in value, I'll leave that for the next update.

    K2 Armor Nitpicks

Hey thanks for the feedback! I was aware of most of those mods, there are some differences in how they are implemented however: Hassat Hunter restored the armband as-is and placed it in the Telos academy while I gave it a new vanilla-like icon and placed it on the Hawk hidden compartment. Both your mod and mine provide a partial restoration to the beast-rider suit as in appearance and descriptions were come up by ourselves and not Obsidian (And stats in my case). Besides the difference in where the suit is obtained, your mod also restores other items which I don't intend to and alters the Beast-Rider on the docking bay. Our choices for the d-package implant variations are different and I also restore and modify icons for other implant categories, and fix the cardio package and pheromone packages being swapped in usefulness (and price) as far as the loot and crafting systems are concerned. The militia armor can be found inside a new box in the Khoonda building garage and the pazaak card can be bought from Dendis Dobo on Telos. I originally wanted for it to be bought on Onderon (missable), but I couldn't find a way to place it that satisfied me without going into too much work just because of it, so I gave up on that for now. Might change it again later though...
  19. Being a restored content mod, the tslrcm crew saw fit to restore all the cut miner items, the heavy mining laser too. I won't comment on that decision. I checked again just to be sure and I didn't find a fixed zabrak grip or energy cell drops, besides the cheat plasteel cylinder. There's something going on with your install or mods because fully upgradeable short swords are neither vanilla or TSLRCM, guaranteed.
  20. Yes, it was about when I caught Aleema Keto's robes on sale that I decided to do something about it. Also a save is required before first talking to Dendis, you might add.

This compilation aims to rectify duplicates among other miscellaneous stuff. All the new textures are supposed to fit in, look like they belong. Hopefully they're up to standard. ~ M'uhk'gfa uses a new texture. No longer a duplicate. ~ Mandalorian Combat Suit uses a new texture. No longer a duplicate. ~ Heavy Battle Armor uses the unused PBH01 texture. No longer a duplicate and consistent with K1. ~ Echani Shield Suit uses the unused PBD07 texture. No longer a duplicate. ~ New fixed icon for Echani Heavy Armor. Let's just ignore the fact that it's obviously Mandalorian in design. ~ Reinforced Fiber Armor touched up item description. Since I'm not changing the texture, this is the least I can do because this armor most definitely isn't made of tree fibers like in the first game. ~ Jal Shey Neophyte Armor uses the unused PBM04 texture. 22. View File K1 Armor Nitpicks ___________________________________________________________ A bundle of my personal nitpicks to the armory of KOTOR. This compilation aims to rectify duplicates among other miscellaneous stuff (I have not considered GenoHaradan rewards for this effect). All the new textures are supposed to fit in, look like they belong. Hopefully they're up to standard. ~ Calo Nord's Battle Armor uses the PBG02 texture. Fits the color scheme much better in my opinion. In fact, I wonder if this was the intent all along. ~ Powered Battle Armor uses the PBG06 texture. Consistent with K2. ~ Verpine Zal Alloy Mesh uses the PBG05 texture. Consistent with K2. ~ Zabrak Combat Suit uses a new texture. The Echani Fiber Armor should be the recipient of this change really, but it's the iconic go-to armor in Taris for the PC. No longer a duplicate. ~ Zabrak Battle Armor uses a new texture. The Republic Mod Armor would be the target of this change but again, same deal. No longer a duplicate. ~ Mandalorian Assault Armor is no longer a disguise and uses the unused PBH07 texture. I know, I'm evil incarnate. Consistent with K2. ~ Mandalorian Heavy Armor uses a new texture. ~ Jedi Robes and Revan Armor no longer display their erroneous max DEX bonus. Less confusing. This mod does not fix the many pricing inconsistencies on armor; It does not address the Dark Jedi robes inconsistency; It does not address the Qel-Droma robes (yet). 23. I never played on Xbox, so I can only attest for the PC version. In vanilla you can find a vibroblade off a corpse in first the room after the medical bay, it has been replaced with the vibrocutter in TSLRCM. Short swords are only able to be upgraded at the hilt and edge with the cell slot greyed out, you can't even try to insert one. Random loot in Peragus is purposedly toned down, but I know JC confirmed that weapon upgrades of all types were dropped for some reason which he then removed it in his loot fixes. You can always find several droid items, a Bio-restorative Underlay Mk I, a Basic Ionite Edge and a pair of Insulated Gloves. I've been scoping the placeables and I can't find any mention of a Zabrak Grip and I only came across an Improved Energy Cell inside a cheat cylinder which doesn't spawn in the actual game.
