=Juhani Dialogue Restoration= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION AUTHOR: Leilukin FILE NAME: Juhani Dialogue Restoration.zip LATEST VERSION: 1.0 CONTACT: E-mail to leilukin@outlook.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1. DESCRIPTION: This mod restores Juhani's conversations with the player that are unused or easy to miss in vanilla KotOR. The conversations restored by this mod include: Asking Juhani about the planet you are on Asking Juhani about why she is hostile towards Canderous (available after Juhani talks about the Mandalorians' attack on the Cathar homeworld) Juhani talking about the evils on Korriban (available after you obtain the Star Map on Korriban) I recommend using this mod alongside the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP), which fixes many bugs related to Juhani's content in the game. Note that the KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod already restores the above Juhani conversations, so if you use K1R, you do not need to install my mod. My mod is meant for players who just want to access the unused Juhani conversations without using K1R. Juhani also has a conversation with the player that is meant to take place on the Leviathan, but you cannot access said conversation in vanilla KotOR because you cannot talk to Juhani on the Leviathan, even if you choose her as your jailbreaker. For a mod that restores Juhani's conversation on the Leviathan, I recommend using Fair Strides' Party on the Leviathan! mod. 2. INSTALLATION: Go to the "Installation" folder, and put the NCS files into the Override folder in your KotOR directory. You can choose to install only a specific component of this mod: For the dialogue option to ask Juhani about the planets you're on, install k_hjuh_w10.ncs. For the conversation about Juhani's hostility towards Canderous, install k_hjuh_p05.ncs. For Juhani's comments about the evils of Korriban, install k_hjuh_p19.ncs, k_hjuh_p20.ncs and k_hjuh_p21.ncs. The "Source" folder includes the source of the scripts used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 3. UNINSTALLATION: Go to your Override folder and delete k_hjuh_w10.ncs, k_hjuh_p05.ncs, k_hjuh_p19.ncs, k_hjuh_p20.ncs and k_hjuh_p21.ncs. 4. KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any bugs or problems, please let me know. 5. MOD COMPATIBILITY: Any other mods that modify the scripts to access the following Juhani dialogue will not be compatible with this mod: Juhani's comments about the planet you are on Juhani's hostility towards Canderous Juhani's comments about the evils on Korriban The KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod already restores the above dialogue, so if you use K1R, you do not need to install my mod. This mod is compatible with KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP). This mod is compatible with Kexikus' Juhani Romance Enhancement. 6. PERMISSION: You may do whatever you want with this mod, including using this mod's assets in your own mod. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. 7. CREDITS: Cortisol for Holocron Toolset JdNoa for DeNCS KotOR Script Decompiler KobaltBlu for KotOR Scripting Tool THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. Based on this request thread, this mod attempts to inject a bit of extra variety into one of the minor elements of KOTOR. It makes some changes to the locked kolto tank room in Zelka Forn’s medical clinic in Upper City South on Taris. In the vanilla version of the game, the room has two placeable square kolto tanks, the floating bodies in which both use the PMHC04 (“Mullet Man”) head. For this mod, those were removed and the room model was edited to add two additional round kolto tanks, which match the ones along each side of the room. Additionally, the glass of the tanks had its texture replaced with one of the other variants in the game that is a bit darker and uses an environment/cube map for a hint of reflection. The empty tanks in the preceding room (behind Zelka Forn) were also edited for consistency. For the sanity of those with OCD, the position of the wall light at the back of the tank room was adjusted so it aligns with the centreline of the room. The floating body model from the kolto placeable was replaced with a new one with clean geometry at the neck join to facilitate using any player or NPC head. Additionally, an all-new female body variant was added, posed to roughly match that of the original male version. Two of these new body variants replaced the original two at the end of the room, with a number of additional bodies placed in the tanks along each side of the room. Zelka Forn’s dialogue when you enter the room for the first time seems to indicate that there should be more present than just the two originally depicted in the vanilla game. Due to limitations on the number of possible placeables K1 can deal with, outlined here by ndix UR, the floating bodies are now part of the room model. Installation: The mod includes a TSLPatcher installer for Windows users. Those on Linux or Mac should replace it with the appropriate HoloPatcher version which will run natively on their OS. Known Issues: This mod relies on editing the Taris Upper City South module's GIT (tar_m02ac). As such, it will not be compatible with any save in which you have previously entered the Upper City South level. Given that is the very first level you enter after leaving the starting apartment on Taris, that means you'll typically need to start a new game to utilise this mod. Per some of my posts in the original request thread, I initially experienced some issues with the tank’s glass texture affecting lighting on the body models (and even outright visibility in one instance) depending on the player’s viewing angle. I believe this has been resolved, but it’s possible the problem may still occur on hardware/OS combinations that I have no way of testing. The floating bodies use these player head models. There is no provision for dealing with a clone of the head the player is using now that the mod has switched to incorporating the bodies into the room model. A future update may replace these heads with NPC heads instead. Compatibility: Edited versions of both room models for the medical facility (M02AC_02G & M02AC_02H) are required for this mod, so will not be compatible with any other mod that edits those models. They still use vanilla textures however, so they will be compatible with texture mods. The mod will not be compatible with any mod that edits the two entries for the original tank placeables in the module’s GIT (Placeable List entries 0 and 22). It should otherwise be compatible with other mods that alter the Upper City South module, as long as they utilise a properly set up TSLPatcher configuration. Since it has come up in the comments, Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod is compatible, but ONLY if you install it before installing this mod (KP's mod will forcibly overwrite any and all module files, so install it before anything). Acknowledgements: Thanks to bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit, and ndix UR for MDLOps 2K18 Edition, all of which were required at various points to get this to work. Thanks to ndix UR for many and various discussions and troubleshooting regarding models, compiling, textures, etc. Thanks to Dark Hope for the suggestion to change the bubble VFX. -

This mod adjusts the model files for TSL's main menu so that they properly fill the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). By default, the vanilla menus will have gaps in the background at each side of the screen. This is an inherent issue of the model being designed for 4:3 aspect ratios, so when a widescreen mod (or Aspyr's version) is used, areas of the model are exposed that were not anticipated by Obsidian. This mod addresses the issue by scaling the width of the background plane so that it spans the full width of the screen, and adding an additional VFX emitter to the bottom right of the screen so that the fog also spans the full width. Additionally, a minor correction is made to the Easter egg menu to properly apply the appropriate texture to the eyes, eyelids, teeth, and tongue of one of the Twi'leks, which are untextured in the vanilla version. See the attached pictures for an illustration of the changes. I have edited all 6 menu models, but in practice only 4 of those are typically used in the game (although TSLRCM does also make use of the Easter egg menu). I've included them all to cover all/most eventualities. Note that this mod primarily adjusts the menu models. No changes are made to the background texture, so any custom version of that texture will work with this mod as well. Per a user request, I have added adjusted logo images to address the stretching on those (they are not part of the model). Both vanilla and TSLRCM versions are included (permission to modify/redistribute the TSLRCM logo provided by zbyl2). As of v1.2, I have added optional TOR-style logos. These are based on the one GOG created for K1. Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu models like, for example, my own DS player menu mod (although that can be installed over the top of this mod). Any update for TSLRCM will presumably overwrite the Easter Egg menu and the logo. N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just a fix for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS or Aspyr's natively widescreen version. Installation Instructions Copy the MDL and MDX files from the "FOR OVERRIDE FOLDER" and paste them into your Override folder If you have TSLRCM, additionally copy the files from the FOR TSLRCM, overwriting when prompted in both cases If you wish to use the TOR-style logo, versions are supplied to fix stretching for those without a GUI fix, or unaltered if you use a GUI fix mod. Make sure you delete any existing KOTOR2Logo.tga in your Override. If you use Aspyr's version of TSL on Steam with TSLRCM installed from the Workshop, you'll need to use TSLRCM's Workshop folder Override folder instead. If you use M4-78, use its Override. Acknowledgements Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit, that made compiling the menu models possible Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to VarsityPuppet for testing 16:10 compatibility Thanks to @JCarter426 for helping with improving some aliasing issues via waifu2x -

THE UPDATE IS FOR STEAM USERS, PLAYING THE ASPYR VERSION IN 2K. -------------------------------------------------- Title: Widescreen UI Fix for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords -------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks to the following individuals: Alien - For the original version of the 16x9 mod, without which none of this would have happened. tk102 - Since GFFEditor broke stuff and KGFF saved the day, teekay deserves some recognition for his awesome (TSL-friendly) tool. -------------------------------------------------- Original mod info (including link to download and screenshots) can be found here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/208580/discussions/0/864975632546978851/ As you can see, Alien's work is remarkable. Unfortunately, v.1 has some issues with the Actions UI in the lower left (mines and force form are borked, and the action description hovers over the menus rather than displaying above, making the arrows a pain to use). After some digging around, I was able to fix these issues and am releasing the fix with Alien's permission. *CD/DVD/GOG/Steam (Non-Aspyr) Installation Instructions* Download the GOG version Extract the download Select either the 16x9 or 16x10 version (not both) Copy the folder to Override To uninstall, remove the installed files. *Steam (Aspyr version) Installation Instructions* [Optional, but recommended] Find equip_p.gui in the game's install directory and make a backup Delete equip_p.gui from the install directory Extract the contents of the download to Override. To uninstall, remove the installed files. -
1 pointFair enough. Ironically, that naming scheme is one of those rare moments where both Disney and Legends content agrees. I do hope you at least retain the few things Disney decided to add unaltered from the old Expanded Universe such as those created during the Republic Commando and Open Seasons era as I consider those the strongest times for Mandalorian content.

Aloha! Thanks for checking out my mod. This originally started out as a mod for getting Bao-Dur some non-vanilla starting gear, but I ended up expanding it and creating starting armors for each companion that didn't have one before and making Atton's and Mira's jackets moddable with underlays to keep them more useful. Now every companion can use their default appearance and have it be somewhat competitive to some of the mid-game gear and (hopefully) become a niche choice of equipment for some people! This mod uses TSLPatcher, so it should be compatible with any mods that don't change what armor Kreia, Bao-Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, and Visas wear when you first meet them. Mods that change or alter their default appearance, such as Ultimate Character Overhaul, should work just fine with this mod since each armor is actually a suped-up generic clothing item. Please feel free to use this mod as you see fit! If you wanna include it in your mod, go ahead - just credit me if you do, that's all I ask. -
1 pointHi, R2-X2 here, I will get to this soon hopefully. Was pretty busy the last years and had the mind elsewhere (though it was always in the back of my head). But I think it can be fixed by coding it more crudely, merely using the OnHeartbeat and probably less than half the code, which would have the negative effect of allowing for weapon switches to malfunction for a few seconds (granting an extra attack still or not granting one for a moment), but I guess unless you actively try to game the system, that shouldn't be an issue.

In KotOR 1 there is an obvious balancing issue concerning weapons that is especially noticeable in the early game, ie: Taris. What is it? Ranged Weapons are utterly outclassed by melee weapons. Yes, i know a stun stick isn't more powerful than a heavy repeater but I'm addressing the general problem here - In almost all situations you'll be better off charging at an enemy using your vibroblade instead of firing a blaster rifle, even when it seems like using a blaster would be the best option. The developers at Obsidian noticed this and in KotOR 2 blasters are now a viable option as well. So this mod changes the base stats of ranged weapons (damage, criticals etc.) to be like the ones on K2. But that's not all - I've also modified the lightsabers as well. Basically, ranged weapons and lightsabers will be statistically equal to their K2 counterparts; except for some weaponry damage values that i've kept unaltered purposely - It doesn't make sense that, for example, a disruptor and an ion pistol would do the same damage against an organic target. So following that: Blaster Pistols now do 1-8 damage instead of 1-6; Disruptors' critical threat range is now 18-20x2 instead of 20-20x2; Ion blasters' critical multiplier is now x3 instead of x2; Regular lightsabers now deal 2-20 damage instead of 2-16 etc... ____________________________________________ -

HD UI Menu Pack for Knights of the Old Republic v1.1 - 20180318 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution UI menu textures. 2K is the base resolution. The content is redrawn vector art, no modified scale-ups here. It is focused on menu backgrounds, and includes some of the overlay components for the menus. Pure Vanilla (PV) Edition aims to provide the closest match to the original menu texture assets. This mod doesn't touch a lot of the 'extra' menu-like GUI elements yet, such as the galaxy screen, computer interfaces, pazaak, etc. It also doesn't mess with the main menu at all yet. Requirements You must be running menus at a high resolution for this to really work. At the default menu size, this mod will probably look bad. You must have KotOR High Resolution Menus or an equivalent mod installed for good results. Known Issues The original textures were for 640x480 menus. The 4x sized textures in this package would look best at 2560x1920, which nobody really uses. If your display is less than 2560px width, you may experience seams where different textures are intended to meet seamlessly. The game just isn't that good at scaling UI textures with alpha channels used for transparency. There's nothing I can really do about it. There are some sprites in the menu processes that haven't made it into the package yet. They may sometime. I've added x/y clamping to some textures that should have transparent edges over 3D backgrounds. It makes the transparent edges work well, but the diffuse edges work less well. It seems you can't have it both ways, and this is the trade off. Install / Uninstall To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. This is a companion to my TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen mod. In a similar manner, it adjusts the model file for K1's main menu so that it properly fills the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). It is designed to be used in conjunction with ndix UR’s KotOR High Resolution Menus mod (as pictured). Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look. As of v1.1, an optional replacement logo is provided. This is a TOR-style version of the logo, created by GOG. Two versions are provided, one of which is offset in order to better align using the current version of ndix UR's GUI mod. A centered version is also provided in the even that the GUI mod is updated. Note that I have only tested this at 1080. I have no idea how the image may be positioned at different resolutions. Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model. As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod. N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. Installation Instructions Extract the archive, copy the MDL, MDX, and TGA files, and paste them into your Override folder. If you also wish to use the upscaled vanilla logo or the TOR-style logo, copy the appropriate version to your Override folder as well. Acknowledgements Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax that made editing and compiling the menu model possible. Thanks to @ndix UR for testing the mod and various discussions pertaining to its development, as well as all the behind-the-scenes work in getting the new mod tools off the ground. Thanks to @JCarter426 for helping out with filtering via waifu2x to clean up some of the aliasing -

The KOTOR Revisited Collection: The Unknown World is a critical moment in the KOTOR story and a nice place to explore. With this textures pack I wanted to highlight the contrast between the absolute beauty of this world and the tragic fate of the Rakata survivors, now living among the wrecks of stranded ships. WARNING: if you are a hardcore vanilla supporter, this mod won't be for you (and there are already a lot of vanilla upscaled textures mods available). Not that this mod is not lore-friendly compared to the SW universe (to me at least it is) but it changes most of the vanilla textures by original and home made ones. Click here for a Vanilla VS Revisited comparison My main inspiration when creating these textures was the SWTOR game and The Clone Wars serie. This mod DOES replace textures for: - Architecture /Wrecks - Grounds - Rocks - Vegetation - Rakata NPCs and Rancors. This mod DOES NOT replace textures for: - The Republic ship interiors - Skybox (using the great High Quality Skybox II is strongly recommended) - The Ebon Hawk - Textures are TGA 2048x2048 pixels (based on my experience there's no need to go highter in resolution in this game. 4K textures on old graphics games is just a waste of ressource to me). The total size is 1.2gb on your HDD once installed. - These textures add maximum details with minimum tilling effect. On a low poly game with no normal/bump maps, tilling REALLY IS your enemy. - I used a soft cell shading style because in my opinion photorealistic textures on low poly meshes just look weird and not that great (but again this is my taste). - Hi quality Reflection effects added to metallic objects like walls, wrecks,... - On a vanilla unmodded game (if such thing still exist): Extract the file and drop the Override folder in your game install folder. That's it. - On an already modded game: there's a high probability that you already have the same files than this mod in your Override folder. These files can be TGA or TPC (or both). So follow these steps: 1/ Extract the file and drop the Override folder in your game install folder. Overwrite existing files when asked. 2/ Download and use the Removes duplicate TGA/TPC tool (easy to use but make sure to read the description). When asked delete the TPC duplicates. By doing this, you make sure there is no conflict with existing modded TPC files in your Override folder so my textures will appear as expected in your game. NOTE: This pack does not cover 100% of the Unknown World textures so it is recommended to install it over a vanilla overhaul textures pack to get a complete HD experience. Just make sure you are installing a Vanilla overhaul BEFORE installing my pack. - Could you make a TPC version? I've tried to convert the mod in TPC but this format breaks many reflection effects when a texture uses an Alpha channel. As I'm not used to work with this format I don't know how I could fix it and to be honest I don't really care. If a simple solution exists then why not providing a TPC version. - I don't like this or that, could you change it? It is a very personal project from a pre-Disney SW fans so like any old school SW supporter I'm very stubborn and closed-mind. It will be unlikely that I take your idea in consideration, but you may try. - Do you plan "revisiting" others places from KOTOR? I've already done a few planets (see the collection above this page) and more may come in the future. - Kexikus and his High Quality Skybox II mod which I used on my pics. - ShiningRedHD and his Ultimate Unknown World High Resolution mod which I used as a template to help me finding correct files/textures in the game. It was also my "vanilla" benchmark used to calibrate my own textures colors and luminosity. - Many other modders for all the files I'm using on my game and can not list here. -

The KOTOR Revisited Collection: Korriban is one of my favorite places from KOTOR, both in terms of visual and storytelling. The KOTOR Revisited Collection: I was always a bit disappointed by the yellowish look of Anchorhead in the original KOTOR game. I don't know if there's a lore explanation or something but to me it did just not look good. So this mod started as a personal project to bring at first some small changes to this place, mainly changing the overall color to something more in line with my "tastes" concerning the Tatooine feeling. I've been making textures for games for 15 years now so it had to be a "quick fix" I thought... Here we are a few days later and this "recolor" project has become a full textures overhaul! I'm very pleased with the result so maybe some people here could enjoy it as well. WARNING: if you are a hardcore vanilla supporter, this mod won't be for you (and there are already a lot of vanilla upscaled textures mods available).
