I became so very tired of the low resolution textures for female Republic soldiers. So I made a new model for them, using the male version as a template. While I was at it, I noticed errors on the male model, so I've corrected those as well.

Summary Throughout the game, there are cutscenes of the player sleeping and having Force visions to further the plot. This mod fixes two things about those scenes that bothered me. First, the first of these scenes is supposed to happen in the party's apartment on Taris, but is quite clearly set on the Ebon Hawk like all the other scenes. I've edited the area used for the visions to put in a copy of the apartment to make the location consistent. Second, the scenes show the player wearing whatever item they happened to have equipped when the scene started. So the player would routinely sleep in their clothing, even armor. I've edited the cutscene scripts to remove the player's equipment for the duration of the vision. Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Vision_Enhancement_K1.exe. Select which version to install: If you use the KOTOR 1 Restoration, choose the K1R-Compatible Installation. Otherwise, choose the Basic Installation. HD NPC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20201004 - by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds 30 high resolution (1K) portrait images for NPCs. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of edge split and subdivision surface modifiers. I did some amount of normalizing the gradients behind the characters. I think Disciple and Mira are the only ones with non-standard background gradients now. This package includes portrait for HK-50 and HK-51 units. They aren't used in any existing mods I'm aware of; I just put them in because they made sense to have. You can remove them if you wish. The Atris portrait is unused in the vanilla game but may be used by playable Atris mods. I only included it because it existed in the vanilla assets. HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords v1.1 - 20200805 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for PCs. All 34 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 3 light-dark variants, for a total of 102 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 64x the resolution of the 128x128 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setupusing a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers. DESCRIPTION Something that always bothered me in TSL is that your character is supposed to be one of the last Jedi knights of the galaxy, hunted by Sith assassins and the Exchange's bounty hunters at the same time, yet you run around fully dressed in what are unmistakably Jedi robes, swinging your lightsabers left and right. Not the best example of discretion. Thinking back to ROTJ, I noticed how Luke's new attire was elegant, simple and discreet, while still keeping a flair of the Jedi order with the purple tunic over his black jumpsuit. This mods add's Toshi's and DT85's excellent model of that outfit which I ported over from Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. But this mod isn't restricted to male characters: I've also modified the model heavily to adapt it to female characters. The tunic comes in two main variations: 1. Jedi Journeyman Tunic 2. Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic The latter uses Circa's Luke Jedi Master retexture, and gives a small boost in Wisdom and Force regeneration. HOW TO FIND The first varation (Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Dendis Dobo, the honest one of the twin Duros merchants on Telos. The item is added via a script when you ask him to see his wares. The second variation (Master Jedi Journeyman Tunic) is sold by Daraala, at the scavenger camp on Dantooine. IMPORTANT: The items are added via a script which only fires up the second time you talk to her. COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with (and was only tested using) TSLRCM which I heavily recommend if you still haven't installed it. This mod will be incompatible with any mod that alters the PMBJ and PFBJ models, as well the .DLG files of the conversations with Dendis Dobo (dendis.dlg) and (daraala.dlg) IMPORTANT: APPEARANCE.2DA As I was testing this mod, I noticed that the Model J and Tex J columns in appearance.2da had some inconsistensies. Most female character appearances would be assigned PMBJ as a texture for the PFBJ model, except for the handmaiden. Atton had no entry at all, making the game crash each time he'd equip the robes. This TSLPatcher will modify your appearance.2da to edit the Model J and Tex J columns to solve those inconsistensies. INSTALLATION Simply execute the TSLPatcher.exe in the "Luke Tunic Mod" folder and let it do its magic. Give it a hand if it can't find its way into your TSL folder by its own. To uninstall, delete all the files that are included in the "tslpatchdata" folder from your Override folder (excepted for changes.ini and info.rtf which you won't find in your Override folder). NEW: Download the BaoFix.rar file and extract its contents in your Override folder. This is a fix created by DarthParametric to fix an issue that occured when training Bao-Dur (see below). KNOWN ISSUES May cause a crash or turn the PC invisible when training Bao-Dur to become a Jedi. Please refer to the new install instruction above to fix this issue. CREDITS All credits for the original model and textures go to DT85 and Toshi who created it for Jedi Academy. All credits for the Master Jedi texture variant go to Circa from JKHub SPECIAL THANKS to @JCarter426 and @bead-v for helping me with getting the model to work properly in game and with the appopriate textures @DarthParametric for providing the script that injects the items into the merchants' inventories, as well as fixing several issues with the models and creating a fix to CTD/invisibility glitch that occured while training Bao-Dur to become a jedi This is with first mod ever and it was a hell of a learning curve. I wouldn't have been able to make it without their help. Also to the creators of KoTORTool, MDLEdit, KoTORMax, KSE, DLGEditor and Kotor Scripting tool

The main purpose of this mod is to fix many of the party models that have uvw errors. Some of these errors may be too small to see in-game, but most become glaring when using some of the HD texture mods here on this site. The only HD texture that I have included here, is for Bastila Shan's head model (P_BastilaH04) which is now 2048x2048 pixels. I have tried to remain true to her original look. The models that I have fixed, and are included, are: default clothes models for Bastila Shan Canderous Ordo Carth Onasi Jolee Bindo Juhani Mission Vao HK-47's whole body model head models for Bastila and Carth HD head texture for Bastila head texture for Jolee (to fix the mustache) two additional clothes textures for Carth Each of these character's files can be used separately, so that the user has the option of mixing and matching with other mods. Many of the screenshots are animated with before/after scenes that flip every 7 seconds. There are included text files with much more detail as to what has been fixed in each. There are also a few files included that other modders can use for helping their own texture mods (some uvw maps and a few Photoshop psd files with multiple layers already separated).

A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes By Sithspecter Description: Through the course of Knights of the Old Republic, the Ebon Hawk become's the player's home. Complete with a workbench, engine room, crew quarters, and racy swoop bike, the Ebon Hawk doesn't lack much. Except for a view, that is. Looking out the cockpit windows is less than inspiring, given the blurry and inaccurate view presented. After tjsase released his High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes for TSL, I knew the first game needed the same treatment. This mod completely replaces the existing cockpit skybox with a newly modeled and textured skybox with HD textures. The skybox has been rendered to reasonably accurate perspective, and shows you a real, crisp view of the landing area. Use: Use of High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes is extremely easy: Put all the files in your Override folder and then play! That's it! The new models and textures will automatically appear when you load up your last save. If the Ebon Hawk is taking too long to load, see "Texture Quality" below. Installation: 1. Open the .zip file for the mod 2. Open the folder labeled override 3. Extract all the files to your KotOR override folder Incompatibility: This mod should be compatible with any mod. I do not know of any other mods that alter the Ebon Hawk skybox, so it should be fine with any combination of mods. Texture Quality: Due to the way the skybox is set up and the massive file sizes used in this mod, the Ebon Hawk will take about 5-10 seconds longer to load each time. There are four different size versions available on Nexus and Deadly Stream to suit different player needs. If the Ebon Hawk it taking too long to load, you can download smaller version to reduce load time somewhat: Extra Large: 2048 by 2048 textures, best quality, longest load time Large: 1536 by 1536 textures, great quality, long load time Medium: 1024 by 1024 textures, good quality, reduced load time Small: 512 by 512 textures, reduced quality, fastest load time Credit: Credit goes to tjsase for inspiration from your TSL High Quality Cockpit Skyboxes and for giving me permission to do this mod. Credit goes to Kexikus for the inspiration from your screenshots. They look fantastic so I modeled the screenshots for this mod after your High Definition Skyboxes mod. Permissions: Do not upload this mod or assets from this mod, modified or not, to other sites without my express permission. I have uploaded this mod to multiple sites and can provide support on those sites. Trying to orient the PC while the player is directly controlling them is pointless, as it will be ignored/overriden. You'll need to either put the trigger further away out of direct line of sight, or trigger a cutscene with a fade-out to hide the spawn-in. As to the Harbinger assassins, no, you can't replicate their exact process, since Obsidian added new engine and script functions that allow for creatures to have their render status toggled on and off. You could approximate it by spawning them in off-screen with the stealth effect either applied in their OnSpawn or applied afterwards, then jump them into position. The Harbinger assassins don't get their render flag enabled for 2 seconds after they spawn, to allow time to add the stealth effect. They then have an OnDamage event in their UserDefine script that removes the stealth effect. This also uses an added function not in K1, but I think that could be gotten around by chaining a few other functions together (presumably why Obsidian added a new function to do it in one command).

I love this skin. I always rename the head as I don't like dark side transitions showing so I love the LS head through the whole play through even if I do dark side actions. I agree the wounds on the head look so much better and I will use this head in my next male play through. I never use to use this head before as it was really bad but with your re skin I will use any male head now in my play through. Seriously thank you so much for doing the reskins of the Males. P.S. Happy Valentine's Day!

The numbers I mentioned before are for before the final romance conversation. So if they're set to that in your save, they're wrong. I don't have any recent Bastila romance saves to check, but I believe K_SWG_BASTILA should be at 12 at that point in the romance.

In case anyone still cares, I've investigated this at length. First of all, Dan's advice above is for Kotor 1 items. Remember how in K1, weapons and armors only had 1 possible upgrade per slot, and what that upgrade did exactly depended on the weapon or armor itself? Yeah. That's what those "Upgrade required to activate" properties were for. In Kotor 2, upgradeability is governed by the UpgradeLevel field. Here's a list of UpgradeLevel values, taken from http://z6.invisionfree.com/Mandalorian16965/ar/t51.htm So, in order to change upgradeability, you have to open the relevant .uti file and change the UpgradeLevel value. The tricky thing is that Kotor Tool's display of .uti files is buggy, and it won't show you the UpgradeLevel correctly, or allow you to change it. Use KGFF instead. (BTW, when using KGFF, after changing a value in the edit boxes on the right side, be sure to then click on the left side of the window, so that you see the value listed there update. Took me forever to figure out why the hell my changes weren't being saved!). For armors you can still use Kotor Tool, because it (faultily) displays UpgradeLevel in the Body Variation box, so if you change the Body Variation value, you're actually changing the upgrade level! For weapons, you have no choice but to use KGFF.

After seeing what this looks like in game, I had to write this review. The head is just a massive improvement on the original in every conceivable way. This is one of the heads I've never used before in a playthrough due to it looking quite bad, but I always was taken with the battle wounds on it. To keep this brief, Dark Hope's reskin breathes life into one of the shittiest male heads in the original KOTOR. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is due to the final dark side transition looking a bit too clean for my liking (and I am a biased dark side player). Specifically, the whites of the eyes are way too clean (the one thing the original got right was making the blood vessels in the eyes very prominent), it could also use a few more veins on the face. The irises are quite well done, so it's encouraging that the creator listens to feedback and works on improving. Personal bias aside, an excellent reskin.
