2 pointsHi everyone I know a few of you have been asking about the status of the KotOR Level Editor (KLE) project. I'm happy to announce that it's finally ready for a (very early alpha) release. I've made the KotOR Level Editor GitHub page public - please remember it's in early alpha. That said, hope some of you find it useful Find the repo at https://github.com/lachjames/NorthernLights/ My goal is to post this to DeadlyStream in the near future, but for now you'll need to download and install it via GitHub. If you'd like to try it out, please follow the instructions on the linked GitHub page's README. Feel free to DM me, reply to this post, add an issue, etc. if you have issues. For those who are new to KLE, you can find an introductory video listing the features of KLE on YouTube (included below). There is also a (work in progress) KLE guide, as well as a general KotOR/TSL modding guide, at https://github.com/lachjames/KotOR-Modding-Guide Thanks everyone for your help - hopefully this is just a taste of what is to come regarding both KLE and the Northern Lights project in general - with the amount of support I've received so far from you all, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the case.

Unzip mtslrcm.zip 2. dlc folder contains five subfolders, for each language version; feel free to delete ones you don't use. 3. Paste it in the install location: iOS: On iOS, they are placed in iTunes > Apps > Documents, in the same spot that the ‘saves’ folder goes. ANDROID: On Android the files should be placed in /Home/Android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor2/files/ As long as you’ve closed the game from the app switcher before launching with the mod, everything should work as normal." -

1 pointGreetings, everyone. It's been a while. I was busier than usual over the summer, and I wanted to wait until I had a more substantial list of updates. This time, there's lots and lots of Jedi robes for KOTOR 1, new saber colors for KOTOR 1, a new modding tool that allowed for some updates, and the usual bug fixes. Updates Darksaber for K1 – Fixed an issue with the Darksaber not spawning. Also changed the installer to patch MOD files for better mod compatibility. Cloaked Jedi Robes – Made some animation improvements and converted textures to TPC format. Slave Bastila – Animation improvements, TPC format, and patching MOD files. Cloaked Jedi Robes & Supermodel Port mod resource – Updated to keep up to date with Cloaked Jedi Robes and also to include content from the new robe mods below. Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2 – I lied last time. I had forgotten to upload the K2 version. So this got the same treatment that the K1 version did, finally: alternate blue and green color options and TPC format. Jedi Tailor – Added a line of dialogue to account for a quest state I had forgotten about regarding the Sandral-Matale feud. VO Fix for K2 – Converted audio files with SithCodec. New Mods Extra Saber Colors – Adds orange, cyan, silver, viridian, and pink lightsabers to K1. Every color crystal has one drop location in the game, and crystals can be purchased on Yavin Station. Cloaked Party Robes – Gives the Jedi party members unique robes based on their clothing models. Cloaked Hybrid Robes – An alternative to Cloaked Jedi Robes, this mod adds the cloaks of the K2 robes to the K1 body models. Modding Tools SithCodec – Encodes and decodes audio for Knights of the Old Republic. Something Completely Different This month sees a much-anticipated release for KOTOR 2. The KOTOR 1 version was released a while back, and it felt like ages as we waited eagerly for the KOTOR 2 release, questioning whether it would ever see the light of day. I am of course talking about @Kexikus' High Quality Skyboxes II for KOTOR 2. Oh, and the Aspyr ports of KOTOR 2 for iOS and Android that have existed for years were finally released today, and there is now a mobile version of TSLRCM that will mostly work, and there was an accompanying update for the non-mobile version as well.

1 pointI guess after all these years some traditions just never die... Like releasing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords just before Christmas... and just like the last time somebody has to come along and release a special mod for it to make it playable 😆

1 pointRehost/Upload + blanket permissions are granted. Please credit the original author and, if possible, include their original readme file with any upload. You can of course add or append your own readme along with upload that might contain any relevant information. I also have a permissions post in my blog, link in sig, pertaining to my own mods if any are unaware. They are 100% open to any one for any reason. Read the blog for details. Absolutely

1 pointOnce @Snigaroo makes the sock puppet account, we should be ready to go. However, this thread seems to have a lot of folks that are enthusiastic about the JumpStationZ mods being available to the community. It only makes sense to have many hands helping in this as we don't know how long we have. If you're interested in helping, why not state which of the modders you like to preserve by uploading their work to the site? Here is the recommended way to proceed: 1. State which modder's work you're uploading. Only choose one modder at a time. (You can always volunteer again after checking who is available.) 2. Use the information in the Mod's read-me (where available) to create the mod description. If spelling errors exist, please correct them. 3. If you wish to use the mod to gather pictures, you can do so but it is not required. Use the logo in my last post in the thread and alter it accordingly for each mod uploaded. 4. If the mod is for KotOR1, put down that is not compatible with K1R. If the mod is for KotOR2, put down that is not compatible with TSLRCM. 5. State in this thread which mods you have uploaded by stating both the modder and the official title. This will let other folks in the thread know which mods have already been taken care of so we don't have a duplication of effort. If the admins deem a different way to proceed after I post this, they have blanket permission to adjust the suggestions as necessary. Update: I have uploaded the following modder's mods which are hidden until they can be transferred to the alt account. This list will be updated accordingly so check back here for continual updates. 1 pointMy time is limited but I will see what I can do. However, I do have a request for the admin folks... For those modders that aren't on this site (like Quanon for example), I'd like for a new screen name to be created - such as "JumpStationZArchive" - so no one here gets undue credit for uploading the mods. Credit should always remain with the original modder and having my name (or anyone else's) attached to it lessens those modder's work. AFAIK, administrators can still change the ownership of the mods from one person to another but moderators may not be in the same boat. If one or more administrators can both create the pseudo-member and reassign the uploads to that account, I'd be willing to start work on this. As I don't have time to go through every mod, I will not be listing compatibility for any of these mods nor providing representative pictures. I will assume that each and every mod that I upload is incompatible with either K1R or TSL. Instead of a representative picture, I'll post something like this for each of the JumpStationZ archived mods. As I go through the mods, I'll also look over the documentation for each for spelling errors and also change the TXT files to either RTF or DOCX for modernization purposes. Sound good, admin types? @ChAiNz.2da: Does the above logo meet with your satisfaction? Addendum: I have been informed through back channels that @jc2 is still quite willing to do this. I commend him for his efforts if he does wish to continue and he can use the above logo if he likes. (The font used above is "Verdana" and matches what @ChAiNz.2da used in his original logo on his site. IIRC, Verdana is a standard font included with Windows.)

0 pointsI'll get 'em up by tonight. Done. If you would do me a kindness and make some screenshots after you download them. No screenshots needed for MacLeodCorp's Telos Billboards Set III though, as that already has pictures in the file!

0 pointsI have just discovered a complete (or very near complete) backup/archive of LF on another site, which includes the four tutorials forums that were on LF. The links are below: https://forums.mixnmojo.com/forum/439-tutorials-general-tutorials-tools/ https://forums.mixnmojo.com/forum/440-tutorials-skinning-and-modeling/ https://forums.mixnmojo.com/forum/441-tutorials-2da-editing/ https://forums.mixnmojo.com/forum/442-tutorials-scripting/ Users are advised that all information here may be somewhat out of date, particularly with regard to tools like mdlops.
