Start as you mean to go on. For KOTOR, that apparently means leave lots of holes in your level geometry. This mod plugs some gaps in the hull of the Endar Spire, and fixes a few UV issues. N.B. - THIS MOD IS NOW SUPERSEDED BY THE K1 COMMUNITY PATCH. DO NOT USE THIS MOD IF YOU ARE USING K1CP. IT ALREADY INCORPORATES ALL THESE FIXES, AND MORE BESIDES. Fixes: Plugs two strips that run along either side of the dead-end corridor on the Command Deck that are open to space. These are hard to see, but noticeable just above the windows in this section. Additionally, an alteration to the model's hierarchy was made so that the light strips now correctly animate. Removes an extraneous strip of mesh that was causing z-fighting issues (i.e. flickering) in the central corridor where the Jedi vs Sith fight occurs. Plugs two gaps in the room just before the escape pods in the Starboard Section. Additionally adjusts the lightmap UVs to remove a light bloom that occurred during baking due to the offset geometry. Fills some holes in the forked section of corridor in the Starboard Section just before the escape pod room. Also fixes some flipped UVs causing inverted wall trim textures in this area. Corrects some misaligned polys in an inset panel in the end wall of the escape pod room in the Starboard Section. Also adjusts the lightmap UVs of said polys to correct their baked lighting. Fixes some UVs causing inverted wall panel textures in a couple of corridor sections on both the Command Deck and Starboard Section. Installation: Simply copy the model files across to your Override folder Acknowledgements: Thanks to @JCarter426 for initially hunting down these holes and pointing them out to me Thanks to @ebmar for finding a number of additional issues Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit

Everything is in the title. I always loved Brianna in Kotor II and I would love to be able to play her in Kotor. If there's a tutorial or else to do put her in the game I'd do it myself but I didn't find anything. Thanks for reading my request, have a nice day/evening.

I liked how you focused the closer buildings against a difuminated background (is M4's atmosphere sort of "smog" contaminated by the mining/working facilities to produce droids??), the lights of these buildings "apartments" lol and those tiny light-blue lights on the roof antennas. always hated LQ skyboxes so this is sort of permanent stuff for my (M4) Override. Well done indeed.

if I may jump on this thread without creating a new one, could we possibly get Atton's head ported into K1? (Sorry if this is not allowed, I'll make a new topic if needed!)

Hey everyone! As of a few days ago, I entered FULL PRODUCTION on the first in my upcoming prequel series to my TSL quadrilogy, tackling K1 itself. The first film in the series, (name to be announced), is looking better than anything I've ever done before, as I am now shooting in full 1080p widescreen whereas with K2 I used to shoot in 1280x720 and upscale it to 1080p. Stupid, I know. But this is how you learn from your mistakes. In addition to this, I am using a plethora of visual upgrade mods to give the film as fresh a look at possible. This is a time before Darth Revan returned to power, so it expect it to look and feel very different to my original films, but unmistakably still feeling like it belongs in the same universe. Expect more humor, more exciting action and a very different in personality protagonist as I aim to show a good, noble man turn into a monster. All of it, the themes, music, characters, style, etc., is so new to me, as I try to break away from the gritty and bleak universe of TSL and make this film (and the two sequels) feel like to most unique version of K1 you've ever seen... That's all for now, but I'll leave you with a couple of screenshots to tease what is to come. I am by no means rushing this one, and a deadline (and trailer) will only be released when I have reached a considerable milestone. ~ DV

Yeah the normal map on the face looks pretty crap. I removed it and I think it looks a lot nicer without it:

Ok textures are fixed. Animations not so much. I found S_Female02 but it doesn't seem to have helped. Screenshot shows what files are in the folder. Let me run through the process and y'all can tell me where I'm going wrong. 1. Open MDLEdit in K2 mode 2. Load n_sithsoldier.mdl 3.Switch to K1 mode 4.Save as binary

The porting rule was always a bit arbitrary. There is no need for further discussion on the subject publicly, the point of the rule updates are to encourage modding by allowing sources that people were probably using already without acknowledging. Now we know what people are using without being caught off guard. Any issues that come up because of it will be addressed if they happen.

What's the difference between batch converting files before adding them to the overrides, or before uploading to the site? All XNView is doing is converting the files and copying them.
