2 points[Updated: December 16, 2019] # 00. Disclaimer # I thought making this Legends overhaul as a series would do good for my own pace in modding terms. # 01. Background # Legends. Why does this project called one? First of all, this series had not related at all with the Star Wars Legends; though it was very much inspired by them. It was called as one because I believe this would give me more freedom on how I wanted to shape the mod and its series. Referencing to the general term of Legend [Keep it noted that I have the following explanation edited for my likings, lol] - So, that's all for the introduction. And with the release of Selven and Lyn Sekla, I decided to put myself into a series of mod that will be called as Legends, and this will consists mostly on reskinning and re-building stats and also their attribution of the particular objects and if possible; some new custom items. These will be done as my playthrough goes while I decide which elements that I want to overhaul, while also considering the risk for it'd be game breaking or no. I'm going to take which path with the lesser risk, and which is more interesting for me. # 02. Planning # 1. Genoharadan - Light Side Description: One of the more exciting subplots in KotOR was the Genoharadan, a secret guild of assassins that your player could join and hunt multiple targets across the galaxy. Sadly, you couldn't complete this quest without accumulating a whole lot of Dark Side Points - until now. This mod allows you to spare the lives of Vorn Daasraad, Rulan Prolik, Ithorak Guldar and Lorgal (There's an option to let Zuulan go free in the game already so I've not changed anything there). You'll gain Light Side points for letting them live. Finally, each of the targets you let live will appear during your final battle with Hulas on Tatooine. There you can, if you really want to, kill all of the Genoharadan Overseers at once. Installation: Run the TSLPatcher and select your KotOR game directory. Compatibility: Incompatible with any mod that alters the Genoharadan quests, characters or dialogs. Bugs: Not really a bug but something worth mentioning; if you kill Rulan Prolik on Tatooine he won't transform in to his true form upon death, he'll just die as he is. No others bugs I can think of. If you come across any, please let me know. Sidenotes: You will need Force Persuade and a high Persuade skill I had a lot of trouble trying to work out how to save Rulan and the end result is a bit iffy: to do it you have to converse with one of the tachs that isn't him in disguise and kill it pretending it is. -

JC2 PRESENTS REVENGE ON THE SASSY SITH LADY Reason: After watching a ShemL video (RIP (Retire-In-Peace) ex-modder), I decided to allow the PC to use the Force on the Sassy Sith lady. Content: All vanilla options are kept, and (3ish) additional options are added. These options allow the PC to take revenge of different levels on the Sith minion who insults your eyes, calls you a coward, and tries to rob you. Not to mention threats you with the "wrath of the Sith." (1) Light side option (2) Dark side options to force choke/kill and,or force dominate Summary: This is a small mod that has way to many scripts attached to it, but it should add a little flavor to Manaan, by allowing the PC to get a little more "direct" revenge on this annoying Sith minion. It is similar in concept to Kill Marlena, I recommend checking that mod out as well. Installation: Unzip and run the tslpatcher, manual install is not an option. Special note to Android users: Manual install option does not exist because of the globalcat.2da file, in this mod, and is used in every major mod that exists, therefore, I assume that you would want to download better mods, and encourage you to download other mods. 1.50 Update: I recommend updating the mod by reinstalling it, or simply copy and pasting the man26_sithyell.dlg and the man26_sithyell2.dlg files into the override replacing the (2) older files. You can find these two files inside the tslpatchdata folder. Note: This is a special case. Please do not do this with other mods as most mods require the tslpatcher to run before they can function properly! Any feedback is appreciated, though it would be helpful if you tried the mod first! I hope you enjoy this mod! -

*********************************** Knights of the Old Republic *********************************** TITLE: Give Kinrath to Nubassa AUTHOR: LDR DATE: 6/22/18 FILENAME: give_kinrath_nubassa FILESIZE: 56 KB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- Simply put the all the files in the override folder into the Override folder in your KOTOR directory. To uninstall, remove the files from the KOTOR directory. ------------ Permissions ------------ All material included can be used in your own mods without asking for permission beforehand. Just mention me in your readme. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ When I first played KOTOR when I was very young, I thought that giving Nubassa the extra kinrath bodies from Kashyyyk would be a valid way to satisfy his need for exotic animals. Well, this mod does just that. Somewhat humorously. ----- BUGS ----- None I hope. If you find any please post them in the comments. I will address them as soon as I can. ------- Credits ------- Fred Tetra for his very useful KotOR Tool. JCarter426 for assisting me in scripting. The DeadlyStream staff and community for still making KOTOR relevant after 15+ years. I love and appreciate you all. -
1 pointArcann's mask cut in half and mirrored makes for a pretty good full face mask. Or if you prefer to get your temple guard on: Although there are some clipping issues with hair on certain heads, like Hispanic Mullet Man above. Might have to play with that a bit. Edit: And to replace the Tulak Hord helmet in K1 Generally full helmets don't work too well without being scaled up to ridiculous proportions, but this was already pretty giant to begin with, so it shouldn't be too bad for a decent percentage of player heads.

1 pointIt looks like I may have convinced Master Zionosis to update his Yavin IV mod and upload it here. When he does start a WIP, please offer your support and/or assistance if you are able and willing. Thanks!

1 pointNice! My pleasure; glad to hear the good news. Credits to @bead-v that without the MDLedit, the said fix would not be possible. 😁 So, as the fix seems to be working, we can at least precisely address the 'cause of this matter. It seems [I'm not 100% sure too, I'm quite new with this model fix to tell the truth] the difference between the model tag's with the model name inside the .mdl/.mdx file should be one of the main cause of this matter. As we can see here: And this one could be the 'cause too: There are things that I actually altered also but I am convinced these two are the main 'cause of the particularly "missing head" matters. Yes you can. By using the MDLedit you can link a specific model to a specific texture; most useful [to me] with "lost head" 'cause most of the time.

1 pointDepends on the specific model. Something like a mask isn't typically too much work. Mostly repositioning and scaling the mesh to suit. Although in order to make effective use of KOTOR's self-illumination for the emissive parts of the texture, extra geometry typically needs to be added. This might be editing the original mesh and then repairing the UVs, or creating entirely new meshes. This is because self-illum is set per-mesh, so unless the majority of the texture is black then the entire thing will glow. For heads, as well as repositioning/scaling there needs to be a lot of mesh work to deal with KOTOR's limitations. That means splitting out the eyes, mouthbox/tongue, and teeth as separate meshes. Then the whole thing needs to be skinned to KOTOR's rig. Bodies are probably the biggest pain, because they are in more of a modern-style A pose. So as well as just scaling, the arms need extensive repositioning to match the KOTOR rig. Once that is done they then need to be skinned to the KOTOR rig. In addition to that, a more general issue with the import scripts is that its implementation of generating smoothing groups results in a mess that needs to be cleaned up. I think this is probably due to the way the mesh is split, so the first step is welding and then re-generating smoothing groups, manually assigning them where necessary.

1 pointSounds like you're having better performance than we got before, maybe thanks to the lite models or the static poses. With full quality (well, KOTOR quality) animated models for everything it was dipping down to the single digits on that pan. But it's dropping even with nobody there? There must be something weird going on in that area. It's always been a mystery to me why some areas perform worse than others. As you said, this is a tiny area and I remember the stunt module lagging more than the regular game one, so that's doubly mysterious. @VarsityPuppet recently suggested it might have to do with how many elements the models are broken up into, but I don't know if anyone has ever properly investigated what's really going on.
