Train the Disciple By jc2 Atton can be trained to use the force forms and lightsaber techniques that the PC learns on his/her journey, however, the Disciple cannot. At a loss for why this would not be, jc2 has undertaken an effort to rebalance this issue. Keeping in mind the sister mod, Train the Handmaiden, which set out in 2017, nearly 2 years prior to address the same issue for the Handmaiden, jc2 has come full circle. Therefore, it is the entire effort of this mod to allow the PC to train the Disciple in all 7 of the lightsaber forms, four force forms, and three force techniques. Lightsaber techniques: Ataru Form -Juyo Form - Shii Cho Form - Soresu Form - Makashi Form - Niman Form - Shien Form Force forms: Force Potency Form- Force Mastery Form -Force Focus Form - Force Affinity Force techniques: Breath Control - Beast Trick -- Force Sight The PC must have learned these techniques in order to train the Disciple on them. Incompatibilities: None so far. Compatible with Party Swap & any mod that edits disciple.dlg, because Train the Disciple does not edit disciple.dlg in any way. Files used: jc2_coms.uti, deadmerc_cont.utp (Dantooine corpses within Enclave next to Statue), jc2_disciple.dlg, spells.2da & globalcat.2da (correctly patched with tslpatcher). Installation: Run Tslpatcher See Readme for further details and information, before installing. Credits: Sith Holocron for VO splicing Deadlystream for hosting & Tyvokka for hosting deadlystream! ZYBL2 for quick explanation of lips files stoffe for the tslpatcher Jesus the Christ Feedback is always appreciated, regardless of its nature. I hope you enjoy!

AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 23 AUG 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: So . . . have you felt that the non-descript voice actor for Knights of the Old Republic 1 male player character didn’t sound enough like Revan in SWTOR? Here’s a new player character sound set that UnusualCharacters recorded for us in style of Revan from the SWTOR. The lines as written are exactly the same as the original written for the most part. When noted below, the original line was missing in the game so I asked UnusualCharacters to improvise. Lock Picking: Player is making the attempt unlock the lock box or door p_plyermw_block1 Got it. p_plyermw_block2 No problem. p_plyermw_block3 Right. Critical hit achieved. p_plyermw_crit1 Ha! He’ll feel that for sure! p_plyermw_crit2 That hurt I bet. p_plyermw_crit3 You won’t be getting up from that any time soon! Mines: Disarming. p_plyermw_dmin1 That one’s a dud. p_plyermw_dmin2 OK, it’s disabled. p_plyermw_dmin3 Mine disabled. Lock Picking: Player fails the attempt unlock the lock box or door p_plyermw_flock1 Damn! p_plyermw_flock2 Didn’t work. p_plyermw_flock3 Damn it! Mines: Arming a Mine. p_plyermw_lmin1 One surprise trip coming up. p_plyermw_lmin2 Whoever stands on this will get a nasty shock. p_plyermw_lmin3 Mine placed. Player has low health and needs medical attention. p_plyermw_low1 [groan] I’m in a lot of pain right now. p_plyermw_low2 I should get help for my wounds. p_plyermw_low3 I’m hurt badly. Player has just received medical attention. p_plyermw_med1 [sound of relief] This should patch things up. p_plyermw_med2 This should help. p_plyermw_med3 That’s better. [new improvised line] Player has been poisoned. p_plyermw_pois1 [groan] I think something got me sick. p_plyermw_pois2 [groan] I think I’ve been poisoned. p_plyermw_pois3 [groan] I think something is in my system. The party is regrouping. p_plyermw_rprty1 Everyone’s back again! p_plyermw_rprty2 OK, let’s get going again. p_plyermw_rprty3 We can get back together now. Player character has been selected via the menu. p_plyermw_slct1 Yeah? p_plyermw_slct2 Yes? p_plyermw_slct3 What? p_plyermw_slct4 Hmm? p_plyermw_slct5 Sure. p_plyermw_slct6 All right. [new improvised line] p_plyermw_slct7 What? p_plyermw_slct8 Right. Lock Picking: Success. p_plyermw_slock1 Opened. p_plyermw_slock2 Got it. p_plyermw_slock3 Done. Main Character is going into solo mode. p_plyermw_sprty1 I need to go alone for a bit. p_plyermw_sprty2 We’ll just separate for a bit. p_plyermw_sprty3 Let me go on alone for a bit. Player is looking out for something. p_plyermw_srch1 I won’t miss a thing. p_plyermw_srch2 If there’s something there, I’ll find it. p_plyermw_srch3 Nothing will get by me. Stealth mode activated. p_plyermw_stlh1 Not even a whisper. p_plyermw_stlh2 I’ll avoid what I can. p_plyermw_stlh3 Silent and deadly. The weapon used by player character is either broken or inefficient in current attack. p_plyermw_tia1 It’s not doing anything. p_plyermw_tia2 My weapon isn’t doing anything. p_plyermw_tia3 I need a better weapon. This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. If you wish you attempt to perform a work around, that is your own responsibility and not my own. Feel free to make your suggestions on workarounds below if you find a suitable one. Installation: You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow. 1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them. (I recommend you place a new folder on your desktop to make your life easier.) Those files you're looking for will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder. Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful. “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through steam and reinstalling the mod though!” Uninstall: Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder. Special Thanks: This mod would not have happened if not for @UnusualCharactersgenerosity of performing the voice overs, Thanks, UC! Ultimately, my hope for this project is for it to extend to every piece of greenery to finally move Kotor 2 into something visually closer to what Obsidian's Concept art depicts (or hopefully better). However, right now I only have enough time at my disposal to work on small portions incrementally, and rather than leave this in development forever, I've opted to release each new increment as an update on this download page until it reaches completion. I guess it could be thought of as a Steam Greenlight that is always free and only exists to benefit the community. Right now all I have is the Duxn jungle foliage texture which I've rebuilt from the ground up to imitate what actual dense undergrowth looks like. I originally planned to use an area template file to make the plants look larger but it ended up somewhat redundant and the plants look fine as is. Please let me know if there are any problems or if the alpha is out of place.

This mod is a retexture of a majority of the effects for both Kotor 1 and Kotor 2. It basically started when I changed the spark texture, and then just kept on going. The mod assets are pretty simple to use, you just pick which texture you want to add to your game, and put them into your Override folder. The lightning has an alternate file in case you are interested in force lightning more akin to the movies (where it has no conjure animation) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pasted from Readme: {..) Description: This is a retexture of all of the effects in both Kotor games. It's simple in design, but has a huge impact on the look and feel of gameplay. Included are changes to the Sparks thrown when weapons impact enemies or walls, the lightning and drain effects, the fireball and ion explosion textures, the rain and snow textures in K2, the shape and size of the explosion particles, and an alternative texture to the mine detection overlay which makes them less like a bright red ball. {..>To Install: Drop all applicable files into the Override Folder. If you don't currently have an override folder, then you'll have to create one. I have separated the textures into corresponding folders for easier choice of what you would like to install The files are also separated by game, since Kotor 2 has rain and snow, while Kotor 1 does not. {..<To Uninstall, either remove or delete the files contained in this download from your Override folder. {..<Compatibility: This mod uses a few model .mdl and .mdx files in order to fully change the spark retexture. If you have any of them already in your override, they may conflict. {..>Possible Future Changes or Additions: I am considering changing the explosion animation file and if possible, the very structure of explosions. However, that will probably be a bit later after I have read more into the effects files. {..<Credits: Stevo and Rece for testing my Spark retexture to ensure compatibility, TriggerGod for his permission to use his lightning texture as a base Adobe for their Photoshop, Lucasarts as both Bioware and Obsidian for making the Kotor games, The very special community on DeadlyStream for their constant feedback and assistance, And lastly, George Lucas, for creating the Star Wars movies which has since spawned its ever expanding universe...

so here is the HD visas part of my ongoing texture project series, I desired to maintain the vanilla "look", but with much higher quality textures, I feel I have sufficiently achieved this, (i took a little liberty on the dark side transitions, but they are definitely not "movie style") the usual disclaimers apply, and of course you don't need my permission to reuse this, as long as it's not for profit.

This small modification allows Visas Marr to wear the Jedi's robes, that is, the Jedi's robes will now be fully displayed on it. I really did not like that the original Jedi robes (for example, Jedi robes and Jedi Knight robes) do not show up on Visas. It also made the original Visas clothes unhealthy. Now, this model can be seen only if you wear ordinary clothes. I strongly recommend using it with TSL Improved Party Outfits - this will also give the original robe Visas more uniqueness.

I've never liked the KotOR Mandalorians. I wished them to look like Jango and Boba Fett. I mean, I wished them to have Fett-style armors and helmets. So, I've tried to make such mod. It is not perfect, but I hope you'll like it. It will change the appearance of all Mandalorians in the game, including Mandalore (he transformed into Jango). Features: - Changed appearance of ALL Mandalorians in game. Now they use completely new armors and helmets, which are made in style of Jango and Boba Fett. - Mandalore transformed into Jango Fett. Available two versions of his armor - with jetpack and without it. You may use any, because now you can unequip his armor (and see Canderous). - Bralor transformed into Boba Fett. I've also made him more dangerous opponent in the Battle Circle (since you may use anything when you fight him he was too easy to beat. And they call him a champion?!) - Kelborn now have unique armor. - New Mandalorian armors for your PC and party members. At this point, they are available for male characters only. - Mandalore comes equipped with 2 Westar Blaster pistols and special Mandalorian flamethrower. For those of you who like Boba I also provided EE-3 Blaster rifle. All this items are quite powerfull, but IMO that will not break game's balance ('cause ranged weapons are NOT effective in TSL). Credits: - NeoMarz1 - for creating awesome Mandalorian model for Jedi Academy. I've used this model in this version of MOD. - Don Kain - I've used some texture parts (symbol on Kelborn's armor) from his JA mandalorian skinpack. - Creator of original textures for Westar blaster pistol (sorry, I don't know your name) - Orsan - I used&altered 2 textures he made for KotOR1 (Boba and Jango armors on the upgrade screen). - Lit Ridl - for allowing me to modify his flamethrower script. Permissions: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY OF MY MODS TO BE UPLOADED TO STEAM WORKSHOP. Anything else - be my guest, use like you want, just give credit to me.

I present to you one of the few Android-only compatible mods for Kotor 1. You may be thinking one of two things after that statement; what makes this mod only compatible with the Android port or the fact that an improved galaxy map made by Kexikus already exists which places the planets in their Star Wars canon locations. Well as it turns out that mod is incompatible with the Android port because Aspyr used a scaled down version of the "galaxymap.gui" which results in that mod not working properly in the port. Also, the settings on that mod's TSL Patcher have to be changed even if the Aspyr galaxy map is used in that mod's installation. Bottom line; that mod would have to be reworked to function properly with Android Kotor. Now that I've covered my bases to avoid any claims of mod theft, I'll proceed to explain the mod. First, I don't care much for "canon" placement of the planets. I could have placed them canonically, but I didn't like how most were bunched together on only one side of the map and in a version of the game where most use touch controls it's better to have them neatly separated throught the galaxy map as to avoid touching the wrong one. This mod comes as is and I will most likely not upload a TSL Patcher version. The reason being that many Kotor Android players have no access to a computer and it makes it difficult for them to access some mods. Warning: This mod as stated above is meant to be used with the Android port of Kotor 1. Using it on the PC version may result in damage that I cannot be held responsible for. This mod replace the default Ajunta Pall's Blade appearance with the "Legends" rendition. # Background # The blade of the fallen, Ajunta Pall's Blade - I have always thought about something that is dark-enigmatic about the blade after hearing those words, so this project was started to accommodate the idea. # About this Mod # This mod replace the default Ajunta Pall's Blade appearance with the "Legends" rendition. The new blade is using the amazing IRobert's [K1] Vibroweapons replacement pack retexture base texture and model, which having that science-fantasy feeling to its design and concept. I edited them later particularly on coloring and scheming to match my interpretation of the blade. IRobert gave permission for everyone to freely use, change or modify the mod with *redistribution* policies applies. * With v1.0.2 included the model fix kindly provided by the infamous Dark Lord of the Sith, DarthParametric. It's a fix for holes in the meshes of the hilt which causes artefacts with the shadow casting. The new blade trying to fits the concept of the true Ajunta Pall's blade, which described as - Those features can be seen on the blade now. # Final Remarks # I suggest you to install VarsityPuppet's Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance first and then install this mod after. This mod aims to complete the Ajunta Pall's personal items part. There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. JC2 PRESENTS SAVE MISSION By request from a steam user under the current name of Death a Barbar, I have edited the DLG file to allow a Darkside PC to keep Mission as a companion. Or rather, not cruelly kill her merely because you are a Dark Sider. There are two options > Leave Mission on the Unknown Planet Or: Convince Mission to stay with your crew and serve you. However, this mod doesn't remove the option to kill Mission, that is stilll present in the game if you choose the third dialogue. For clarity, saving Mission begins with "You're all alone.. " (This should be the first option) Leaving Mission behind on the Planet begins with "Go on Mission - Get out of here ... " (second option) Two additional dialogue options have been added that appeal more to the themes of kotor and to the Sith (as suggested by SH). They are the last two options of the six total options and result in keeping Mission. Most lines are voiced by Mission so there's an element of realism to the mod. This is K1R compatible. Installation: Unzip file, place into override, Uninstall: Delete from override. There should be no incompatiblity issues since it is only a single file. Hope you enjoy! As always feel free to leave Negative/Postive feedback! This includes sending me a better screenshot, since my computer can't handle graphics of any kind, ever... P.S. I apologize for the influx of updates, I didn't release it polished and that was a mistake on my end. The current problem with the mod, is that if you talk to Mission again after this conversation, she will result to conversations opened up only after you crash on the Lehon (unknown planet) and will not seem to recognize your recent actions as SIth Lord and whatever option you chose. This presents a bit of issue with a lack of immersion, to avoid this. Don't talk to Mission again! This is what may be updated later. Re-download to latest version, is not required at all, but it is encouraged. Contact me for bugs, issues, or feeback by PM or writing a review here. FYI: Red Mission is a seperate mod by another modder. Credits: Thanks Deadlystream for hosting my mod. Thanks SH and Death'a'Barbar for suggestions Thanks FS for the DLG editor tool Thank you ! For downloading the mod.

I became so very tired of the low resolution textures for female Republic soldiers. So I made a new model for them, using the male version as a template. While I was at it, I noticed errors on the male model, so I've corrected those as well. This K2 version also fixes the TSF officers, since they use the same model.

Have you ever wondered why there is a bunch of retextures for every teammate but Hanharr? Even NPCs who are not even part of your party, like atris and sion, have a lot of new texture projects dedicated to them... So why not poor Hanharr? Yes, he is one of the least popular party members, but there are even textures for GOTO, so this can't be the reason alone. The main reason is all that hair, in my honest opinion. It is really a pain in the (swears in Huttish). I couldn't let poor Hanharr sit between all those shiny HD textures looking like he was pulled straight out of an Commodore 64. Frankly, his texture was bad from the beginning, even for 2004 standards. So I remade it. I put a lot of work in this and I hope you like it. Because there is such an abundance of skins for other characters I felt like 1 texture for Hanharr wouldn't do. So I made 2. Version 1 (With Scar) features a scar on his stomach, to show in what condition he is and what he's been through. (Screenshot for reference) Version 2 (Without Scar) just doesn't have that scar If you don't want to have blood and similar content in your game, this Version is for you. Installation: Move the P_Hanharr.dds from the "with scar" or "without scar" folder into your override folder Credits: CGTextures (now just "Textures"): www.textures.com This Eye texture ressource: http://xoriu.deviantart.com/art/MMD-Naturae-Eye-Texture-249285720 and Biowares TGA to DDS converter, here from deadlystream.

============================ [TSL]Twin Sun to Asari ============================ Author: MrPhil (deadlystream) and Phildevil (Lucasforums) Date Released: 28/06/2014 ------------ Description: ------------ This is my third Kotor mod. I've always thought the original Twin Sun (the Twi'Lek bounty hunters you encounter on Nar Shadaa) looked featureless and bland. Over time, I've requested to various skinners that they do something to improve their appearance, but sometimes they told me they did not know what to do, or other times, their work just weren't looking good enough to me, unfortunately. I've had an idea to make them look better: make the Twin Suns to have a skin that looks a bit like that of the Asari, some aliens from BioWare franchise Mass Effect. I've spoke of my idea to a few skinners, but they seemed disinclined to make-it happen, that's why I decided to create this reskin mod. Poured at least 24 hours in this, spread over a few months. ----------- Thanks: ----------- I have had a few problems and a lot of help was given to me: thanks to Malkior, SelfInducedComa and Rtas Vadum for their general helpfulness. Thanks W4rb1rd for reminding me of the "Lekku" term . Thank you Quanon for your UVW mapping. It has been an invaluable tool to make this mod possible and it has reduce the amount of work I've had to do by half! Thanks to LDR for your support and for giving me the proper way to test rapidly the changes I've made (changing npc appearance). It has saved me some time, compared to my initial way, which had me go through long cutscenes! Version 1.1

This mod adds a workshop to the Ebon Hawk's garage, with which you can construct or deconstruct lightsabers and lightsaber components. One of the things Obsidian did differently was the way you make your first lightsaber. In the first game, you build it at the Jedi Enclave, so they have all the parts there. In K2, the Jedi are all gone, so you're given a scavenger hunt. You have to find three components, bring them to your buddy Bao-Dur, and then you get to make your lightsaber. With that in mind, I have designed the workshop to deconstruct lightsabers, giving you a color crystal and those three parts. Double-bladed lightsabers contain an extra focusing lens and emitter. With all these parts in hand, you can use the workshop to create lightsabers, as well. Furthermore, you can use the workshop to create or breakdown the individual components (provided you have the schematics for them - i.e. you've gotten them through the Crafting a Lightsaber quest - and the right skill points). So that means you can create as many lightsabers as there are color crystals; those crystals won't be burning a hole in your pocket. In short, you have more control over your lightsabers; you can create sabers out of crystals and components, and you can change lightsaber type at will. Oh, and you do not need to start a new game or anything of that sort. The workshop will appear on the Ebon Hawk when you enter.

    Version 1.61

This mod attempts to address some of the issues with holograms in TSL. In the vanilla game, the majority of holograms have things like eyeballs and teeth being visible through the head. This is caused by the way the game handles transparency, in conjunction with the order in which it renders the individual meshes that a model is comprised of. By changing the hierarchy of the meshes within these models, certain elements can be occluded, resulting in less cases of “bug-eyed” holograms. This is not a perfect solution however. Because meshes do not self-occlude, visual glitches still remain during certain animations and camera angles, but this is likely the best that can be done without being able to make alterations the game engine itself. Additionally, because their interactions are primarily via hologram, this mod includes a revised version of Jinger/Kreia’s Admiralty Mod, which changes the appearance of Admirals Cede and Onasi to give them outfits more fitting of their rank. And while I was at it, I also revised certain appearances with head swaps and custom model merges (hair, etc.) to try and reduce overuse of the same heads and make NPCs a little more distinct. N.B.: TSLRCM is a requirement for this mod. It is not compatible with the vanilla version of the game. Specific Changes: Ebon Hawk: Bastila hologram (Light Side male Revan) Ebon Hawk: Bastila hologram (Dark Side male Revan) Ebon Hawk: Carth hologram (Dark Side female Revan) Ebon Hawk: Carth (Admiral Onasi) hologram (Light Side female Revan) Ebon Hawk: Canderous hologram Ebon Hawk: Jedi Master Atris hologram Ebon Hawk: Jedi Master Kavar hologram Ebon Hawk: Jedi Master Vash hologram Ebon Hawk: Jedi Master Vrook hologram Ebon Hawk: Jedi Master Zez-Kai Ell hologram Peragus: Administration Officer hologram Peragus: Dock Officer hologram Peragus: Maintenance Officer hologram Peragus: Medical Officer hologram Peragus: Security Officer hologram Peragus: Coorta hologram Peragus: Coorta thug #1 hologram Peragus: Coorta thug #2 hologram Harbinger: Republic Captain hologram Harbinger: Republic Navigation Officer hologram Harbinger: Republic Doctor/Med Officer hologram Harbinger: Republic Soldier hologram (partial) Harbinger: Admiral Cede hologram Harbinger: Admiral Onasi hologram Telos: Admiral Cede hologram Telos: Admiral Onasi hologram Telos: Admiral Onasi physical appearance Dantooine: Jedi Master Vandar hologram Dantooine: Jedi Master Vrook hologram Dantooine: Admiral Cede hologram Dantooine: Admiral Onasi hologram Nar Shaddaa (Goto's Yacht): Goto hologram/projector VFX Korriban: Bastila hologram (Dark Side male Revan) Korriban: Jedi Master Vash hologram (M4-78) Korriban: Jedi Kaah hologram (M4-78) Malachor V: Bao-Dur hologram Known Issues: There are still visual artefacts from overlapping sections of individual meshes, particularly noticeable in the case of the neck being visible through the jaw which occurs with certain animations and/or camera angles. This is not addressable by model edits. The problem is the way in which the engine renders overlapping transparency within a single mesh. The Republic soldier on the Harbinger has been replaced as of v1.3, however the helmet is still somewhat problematic. I'm not sure that is addressable without completely remodelling it, and perhaps not even then given its shape. Hair planes with alpha transparency don't function as intended as holograms, so typically look pretty terrible (e.g. Peragus Maintenance Officer). There's not much that can be done about those, other than completely remodelling the hair to rely on geometry rather than texture transparency. Dangly meshes used for hair bangs tend to look conspicuous due the requirement of placing them under the head mesh in the hierarchy. Particularly egregious examples may warrant having these elements being turned into skinned meshes in a future update. No doubt there are still a few holograms that need attention that I have missed. If anyone can provide a list of such cases, I may address it in a future update. Note that some holograms look fine in their vanilla state. I am only interested in hearing about ones with issues like those already addressed in this mod ("bug eyes", etc.). Compatibility: I've edited UTCs to point to custom appearance.2da entries, so the mod should be compatible with any other mod that only edits the vanilla 2DA entries. However, it will not be compatible with any mod that forcibly overwrites the module files this mod edits, that outright replaces the UTCs in question, or that also edits the UTC appearance values. Install any such mods first, then this mod afterwards. To make it clear, do not use this in conjunction with Jinger/Kreia’s Admiralty Mod or Darth Hayze's TSLRCM Compatibility Patch for said mod. They are superseded by this mod. A separate patch is provided for M4-78 to handle its version of the Korriban academy module. After installing the main content of the mod, run the installer a second time and select the "Additional Patch" option from the drop down menu. Acknowledgements: Thanks to Fair Strides for creating a customised version of TSLPatcher to handle filename clashes, which made this mod practical. Thanks to Jinger/Kreia for permission to release a revised version of the Admiralty mod's content, the textures from which (with modification) are used in this mod. Thanks to zbyl2 for permission to redistribute TSLRCM's module files to ensure compatibility for Steam Workshop users Thanks to JCarter426 for permission to use the female Republic soldier body model from "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K2" and his adjusted N_CommM04 texture from "JC's Minor Fixes for K2". Thanks to bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit, and ndix UR for MDLOps 2K18 Edition, all of which were required at various points to get this to work. Thanks to ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to Malkior for providing the impetus for the mod via this thread. Thanks to L0ki194 for offering input on the case of the Harbinger's "Doctor" vs "Medical Officer".

    Version v2.1

Installation is simple: just drag the .tga files you want into your override folder. It is, in fact, compatible with KotOR 1. Fire Files: fx_fireball01.tga fx_flame.tga Covers the flame effect from flamethrowers and things that reuse this (most custom force powers using fire use this effect). The fireball is an adaptation of Fire_001 made by Mr. Bubble for RPG Maker games. (http://mrbubblewand.wordpress.com/tag/fire/) I recolored the flames to be a little less red, and also added some tween frames to make the whole thing more puffy. It is approximately four times the original flame's resolution - the original was made of multiple overlapping 51x51 sprites expanded up to consume entire bodies, these are 204x204 with soft blending edges. The fire stream is an adaptation of Misc Fire Element made by dbszabo for general usage. (http://dbszabo1.deviantart.com/) It was a pretty simple affair. Ice Files: fx_crystal01.tga fx_reflectmap.tga The ice is an adaptation of Ice Texture made by DudeAlan2001 for general purposes, and is eight times the original resolution, going from 128 to 1024. (http://dudealan2001.deviantart.com/art/Ice-Texture-77076446) I slightly colored the ice and played with the alpha channel, but I didn't really do any hard work on that one. Most of the hard work was actually on the ice's reflect map, reducing the overpowering glow to be a little paler and a little less common. Overall, it looks more like "unnaturally glowing ice and snow" and less like "unnaturally glowing saran wrap."

These textures attempt a more realistic style while also adding effects that I don't see altered very often such as Poison. There are several iterations of major textures such as fire and lightning. Lightning has been given multiple colors for those who that matters to. Several of the new textures are large, though nothing over 2k. I may release an alternate version with lower image sizes for lower end PCs and Laptops. Currently none of these textures are animated, but that could change in the future. --------------------------------------- Screens have been added for most textures. Personal preference: Don't use my default fire. The alternate textures are eons better.

Blades such as this one are the weapon of choice for Mandalorians. A warrior used to make his first battle blade after his first victory. Each one is unique in its construction, and it is very rare to find one that is not with it's owner - most great Mandalorians are buried with their blade. This mod adds two new weapons to the game, based on the bat'leths wielded by Klingons in Star Trek: The Next Generation etc. The are called Mandalorian Battle Blades. One can be found in one of the hidden caches on Telos, and has +2 Attack Bonus and +2 Slashing damage. The other is Mandalore's Battle Blade, which can be found in Mandalore's room on Dxun. This second weapon has +2 AB, +2 slashing damage, and the Keen item property. Its model is based on the Sword of Kah'less.

Ever wonder how it feels to run from level to level and look at nearly every sky texture border to make sure that every pixel matches?.. I sure do now. My goal was to make all of the skyboxes look more "alive" by changing certain values in photoshop to getting rid of the twilight/grey color palette that was used. The only skybox I actually repainted the entirety was dxun to make it look like the player was actually in a thunderstorm and not those grey wispy things. (there were two zones and each required their own texture) I also provided options if you don't want the moon and/or planet on the background on Dxun and two variations on the suns of Dantooine and Telos. (Also included is a small .txi file that makes the girders outside Telos Station more visible and less like paper mache`) Hopefully they make Kotor II more visually appealing than the original game did.

    1. Description This is an updated version of the Kill the Ithorian Mod. Posted with Doctor's permission. On Telos, there is a caged Ithorian in the Exchange office, mistreated and unfed. Originally, after dealing with the local crimeboss, you could free the prisoner, or leave him in the cage. This had no impact on anything, such as your Light/Dark alignment, and there was no XP reward. This mod gives you an Experience + Lightside Points reward if you free him. Moreover, it offers an option to overload the cage and kill the flatworm, for Experience + Darkside Points. Version 1.1 is essentially the same, but with bugs fixed: - the infinite rewards exploit - the computer skill check not working. 2. Installation To install: copy the two files into your game's Override folder: Deadly_Cage.ncs, term_slusk.dlg. To uninstall: delete these files from the Override folder. This mod works fine with TSLRCM 1.7. 3. Compatibility. Works with TSLRCM, but it does overwrite term_slusk.dlg. This causes no problems. 4. Credits Original author: Doctor (Stream) Version 1.1: Markus Ramikin Concept: Murdrax 5. Disclaimers The usual stuff applies. The mod is provided as-is; by installing it, you accept all liability for any game instability or damage caused. Distribute freely, as long as you give due credit.

This mod has actually been in the proverbial pipes for quite some time now. Thanks to some extensive help from Kyrie on the forums, it can finally see the light of day. What is this mod, you ask? Well it was originally a mass retexturing of all of the alien eyes to better match those seen in the films by getting rid of those irritating painted-on eye specular shines once and for all. This being done by making the specular shine via alpha layers and cubemaps rather than a diffuse texture. The coolest part about this is, the eye reflections are fully dynamic, and if you alter the angle that you look at them, they will actually move across the eye. However, time has duly marched on, and since then, I have been adding more things to my modifications as well as fixing small visual things such as: giving the Boma a punch-through modifier and alpha map to its teeth, so you will now be able to see-through them, the Toydarian now actually having some (albeit painted-on) clothes and no longer being naked in the middle of the street; thus confronting a problem which always disturbed and confused me, the Aqualish having shiny tusks and eyes (for visual effect), and the Twileks having shiny skin (more akin to the movies) Also included in an optional capacity, are a few experimental reskins that I wasn't comfortable forcing on whoever downloaded them as they are purely a matter of taste. These include a CM_Baremetal/Specmap revision of Luxa to which she now has shiny skin (that zeltrons typically have in the EU), some tattoos added to the Twin Suns to give them some identity (A collegue told me that "real" assassins wouldn't have such obvious markings, but I like them anyway, personally), and a recoloration of the Gamorean thugs to a more green and color-saturated look. (examples of these are in the screenshots) All of that said, I hope you like how this mod looks; and that the visual effects it provides will make alien encounters and cantina sequences more cinematic and cooler to look at.~

Hello everyone! With this mod, I've redesigned Darth Sion's look to make him look more realistic and scary. When creating this mod, I used the standard appearance as an example, without incorporating features of the Force Unleashed version (except for parts of the clothing). The face consists of various photos of famous movie characters, such as Two-Face, Kroenen or Snoke. The resolution of the textures is 2048x2048. Thanks to Darth_Sapiens for creating the Cube Map Pack, which is where the cube maps come from.

This mod changes the visual effects for all the laser blasts in the game. Energy blasters, ion blasters, disruptors, bowcasters - I've replaced them all. Except sonic, because really, sonic? In general, I've added more detail and made them match what's depicted on film as best as I could, when there was a visual reference. I took screenshots of the movies and got out my eyedropper tool and everything. The cores of the lasers are brighter so they look more like lasers, instead of having the whole thing as one flat color. I also messed around with light objects so each laser will illuminate surrounding objects in the appropriate color. For disruptors, I've included three color options: white, green, and yellow. The default install is white, like the original, and the other two are included as optional things.

I've got tired of standart ingame vibroswords and was looking for mods which will replace them with high(er) quality models. While looking for KotOR models I've found an intresting mod for Jedi Academy made by RevanDark which added tons of new weapons. I especially liked the look of 'Cyber Ninja' swords and I thought it will be great to have such swords in KotOR... So, this mod will replace standart vibroswords with cool "Cyber Ninja" swords. I've managed to convert models and re-create glowing effect for the blades. Mod will not change stats of weapons. Credit goes to RevanDark for creating original JA models. Permissions: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY OF MY MODS TO BE UPLOADED TO STEAM WORKSHOP. Anything else - be my guest, use like you want, just give credit to me.

This adds a new weapon, called a darksword, to the game. It is slightly less powerful than a lightsaber (base damage 2-14 [2d7], +1-4 electrical damage), and is what was used before the lightsaber was invented, particularly by the Sith. You will find the weapon (if you look hard enough) on the Harbinger. I’m not going to say where, so if you want it, be sure to check all over and not miss any compartments if possible. The mod is inspired by ChAiNz.2da’s Darksword mod for KotOR II, which he released back in 2005. While it’s a cool mod, I was never satisfied with the way the electrified blade looked in that mod, so I made this mod to rectify that.

This mod replaces all HK-47s textures. Just like my other party member reskins; the size has been increased to 2048x2048. Which allowed me to put in some extra details and give a decent update to the skin. There's now a more visible metal texture but otherwise; nothing major has been altered to HKs skin. I did tweak the contrast and colors but its still the same rusty killer droid. Look at the comparison picture to get a better idea INSTALL: Unpack and copy the 3 files P_HK47_01.tga and TXI, plus PO_Phk47 to your override. That simple!

Hi all! Saw a lot of items, like Revan's pack, Sion's packs, Exile packs, etc... But I've never actually seen an item pack for our beloved, cynical assassin droid. So I decided to make a full pack for him, which "upgrades" him to HK-51. The items are for HK-47 only, and if you wanna use them all, you have to equip the chassis first, cause that gives you the Droid Class 3, or if you already have that feat, then you can use them, without. It's your choice ultimately. I've also made a blaster rifle, customed to HK-47, to make it a full set. On a side note, the rifle you see on the screenshot is a custom skin, the actual look of the rifle, without, is the Zersium Rifle. I hope you'll enjoy the pack!

Mod Name: "Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Loadscreens" ============================================== Author: L0ki194 ================= Tired of seeing the old skybox in the loadscreens in Nar Shaddaa, but you're using the Realistic Skybox mod? This mod replaces the original Loadscreens with ones that show the "Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Mod" by Sharen Thrawn. These were made a LOOOOOONG time ago. But, I decided to release these in case no-one saw the original request thread (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=211704). ======== Credits: - Sharen Thrawn, the author of the Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox mod. =========== Bugs: None, though probably incompatable with something of the same nature. Installation: Dump the TGA files in your override. NOTE: There is an alternate loadscreen for 302NAR (Refugee Area) that shows more of the Skybox.

*********************************** Knights of the Old Republic II *********************************** TITLE: Terentateks in TSL AUTHOR: LDR DATE: 6/17/18 FILENAME: terentatek_tsl FILESIZE: 2 MB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- Simply put the all the files in the override folder into the Override folder in your KOTOR II directory. To uninstall, remove the files from the KOTOR II directory. ------------ Permissions ------------ As I intend for this to be used as a modder's resource, all material included can be used in your own mods without asking for permission beforehand. Just mention me in your readme. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ Of all the things Obsidian chose to keep in the KOTOR II game files, leaving out terentateks was just a travesty. This mod brings them back, with one on Korriban and one on Dxun. On Korriban, just make sure to loot the half-eaten corpse in the beginning of the shyrack cave module. ----- BUGS ----- None I hope. If you find any please post them in the comments. I will address them as soon as I can. ------- Credits ------- Fred Tetra for his very useful KotOR Tool. JCarter426 for compiling my scripts for me. Indeed they do. Requested often - due to public file sharing sites being what they are of late, νυrτ has generously allowed his mods to be hosted here at Deadly Stream. We'll only be hosting mods that Filefront doesn't currently have - this mod and the previously posted Protocol Droids version 1.1. On the mod, νυrτ wrote: "I'm using Photoshop [for these textures]. Pics are my own mostly (taken with my Canon 500D) and some are completed using filters (such as the structure texture on Dantooine), the sky shots are from various sources on the internet, they're heavily edited in PS though. To create seamless textures I use the offset function in Photoshop, [which is] very useful..." As the textures are quite large, those computers using older graphics cards may be affected. Installation: place in your override folder. Uninstall: Take them out of your override folder. Please leave comments to express your opinion about this mod. Note: You will also need part 2 to get the complete package.

This is my first foray into sound editing, so please be gentle.. :' The story begins where I really hated the canned sound that the thunder makes when it's playing on Dxun. It may get the job done, but it just sounded so underwhelming to me. I went into a sound editor and added a few bass filters until, voila! I had a thunder not only loud, but with my subwoofer, of a great amount of impact. Anyway, after a quick tour of the Kotor 2 sound files, I found a few of the files that I felt needed an audio boost or overall change and changed them. Thus compends this semi-comprehensive collection of all of the sounds I've edited over the years. To Install: Just drop whichever files you like into your Override folder To Uninstall: Remove the files listed in the TSLPatchData folder from your Override folder Compatibility: This is compatible with any mod that doesn't have audio files with the same name Permissions: Please let me know if you are going to use these sound files in your mod Credit: Lucasarts for making Kotor and Kotor 2, Both Obsidian and Bioware for working on them, The Audacity sound editor team, and the constant support and assistance from the DeadlyStream community which has kept me modding, Also George Lucas who created Star Wars from the get-go

    Version WIP Alpha 1-1

FYI: To discuss this mod and to post bug reports, please use this forum WIP thread, thanks. This is a teaser release of what will be a much larger mod to replace all the textures of Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords. This initial release focuses on Telos as a WIP teaser. You will either have to start from the start again and work your way up to Telos to see all the textures changed, or, use an old save game to replay the areas once more. You have a number of folders here to install, some are optional. FOLDER "TELOS_TEX" These are all the current environment textures that have been made available for Telos: Telos Citadel Station, Restoration Zone and Secret Base. FYI: some are not only for Telos in that some of the textures are from other sets, such as Dantooine. To install the files just copy into your override folder. FYI: you may wish to backup your override folder first . FOLDER "HK_TEX" These are the HK series -- 47, 50 and 51 -- of droid textures. FYI: there are background droids in the HK facility on Telos that I have not updated the look of yet. Again, copy to your override folder. FOLDER "Items_UTI" These have been removed for the a1-1 update due to a report problem with them; the below text is there if the earlier version of the mod is being used: USAGE Pretty simple, my texture and model edits along with new creations, are mine to redistribute and modify. If you want to use any of my stuff, you need to get my permission to do so, even if it is a modification of an existing texture or model from the game or of someone else's -- in that case, you will need to get their permission too. If I find that my work has been used without my permission within another mod, depending upon what it is and the extent of it, I will have the site admins remove it along with pursuing other actions available to me via the site.

    Version 1.0

SUMMARY: =========== Considering the fact that TSL doesn't allow Bao-Dur to wear robes as a Jedi, and to add insult to injury, dies fairly quickly in a fight, hehehe... I decided to at least give him something decent to wear. As a Jedi, or a "not-so-great" techy fighter, this armor should at least even the odds... CHARGED ARMOR DESCRIPTION: ============================= Knowing Bao was vital to the war effort & a gifted man of science, moreso than battle... General commissioned Bao to construct himself some armor capable of withstanding the heat & pressure of both Malachor V and the atrocities of war itself. Bao knew in order to fashion armor capable of withstanding heavy attacks it would have to be significantly powered. The problem was, there wasn't readily available, nor renewable, sources of power on the field of battle. It was then he realized a more significant value to his remote. With ingenuity and a handful of luck, Bao was able to synch one of the remote's power subsytem generators to "transmit" or radiate a small, unique frequency power field. Specialized plates on Bao's armor collect this radiation, process it and runs it through microscopic amplifiers arrayed throughout the armor. The processed energy is then used to power the armor's functions and generate micro repulsor fields to withstand numerous forms of attack. Just one of the many tiny secrets why Bao-Dur is hardly ever seen without his remote close by... A "bonus" side-effect of the armor's construction is it's ability to "soak" a limited amount of enemy fire & process it much in the same manner as the remote's power field. It is rumored that Bao-Dur studied the works of another gifted engineer & Jedi, Segan Wyndh. Though unconfirmed, Bao may have implemented some of Segan's designs and "unconventional" methods... ** This armor will allow the usage of Force Powers & accept "Heavy Armor" upgrades ** STATS: ========= - Restricted to Bao-Dur - Base AC 8 - +2 Defense, for a total of AC 10 - Max Dexterity Bonus +8 - Damage Reduction, +5 Soak 30 - Damage Resistance, Universal 30/- - Improved Saving Throws, All +2 - Immunity, Critical Hits - Accepts Heavy Armor Upgrades - Allows usage of Force Powers *- This mod incorporates stoffe -mkb-'s TSL Patcher program, so I assume it's compatible with TSLRCM.

Hello everyone! This mod aims to make our well-known and beloved Old Republic era spaceship, also known as the Ebon Hawk, look much more detailed and realistic. The resolution of the textures is now 4096x4096 (in contrast to the usual resolution, which was 512x512 or in rare cases 1024x1024), the format I have converted to .DDS. In addition, the mod uses custom cube maps. (Many thanks to Darth_Sapiens, who created the Cube Map Pack!)

    Version 1.0

A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II MODIFICATION High Quality Blasters By Sithspecter Installation: Point the installer towards your Knights of the Old Republic II game folder (not the override folder) to install High Quality Blasters. Description: When Knights of the Old Republic II was released in December 2004, it made a number of improvements over the first installment. However, the blaster models were still the same low-quality models as before. After remastering all the blasters in the first game, I knew I had to make the same high-quality blasters available for the sequel. This mod completely replaces the existing blasters with newly modeled firearms, complete with high quality textures. Special care was taken to retain the form and look of the original items, but in a high quality package. Each weapon was carefully textured based on close examination of its default counterpart. It's a much improved package that I hope will be a permanent addition to your TSL override folder for years to come. Use: Use of High Quality Blasters is extremely easy. Run the installer, then play the game. That's it! The new models will automatically appear when you load up your last save. However, this mod does make a couple .uti changes to avoid doubling up on weapon textures. I've applied a new model and texture to a few items that share a model and texture in the default game. The following items are affected: Benok’s Blaster Blaster Rifle Heavy Repeating Blaster Rifle Plasma Projector What this means is that if you already have one of these items, it will still show up as high quality, but it will share a texture with another high quality item. If you re-acquire one of these through cheats or KSE, it will appear properly. This will not negatively affect the gameplay in anyway. Bugs: Due to differences between the body models (especially female), the weapons will sometimes appear to clip the hands (especially in the female off-hand). There is nothing I can do about this without introducing more issues, it is something that happens with the default weapons, and you will have to live with it. Credit: Thanks to 90SK, Fair Strides, Varsity Puppet, and Kexikus for providing feedback for this mod. Credit goes to Kexikus for the inspiration from your screenshots. They look fantastic so I modeled the screenshots for this mod after your High Definition Skyboxes mod.
