  1. Glad to hear you're making the progress you want with the quests. Did you find any tutorials that explain how to make the dialogue follow the quest journal file?
  2. I believe what he told you was a clue as to what you need to look for.
  3. Is there perhaps a guide to get the most out of DDS files, such as optimizing mipmaps?
  4. Thanks, Bas! I'm really digging that avatar, btw. Ah, so that explains why my game group had to use multiple accounts to hold all of our stuff, and still managed to fill them up..
  5. Okay. Backed-up all of my files onto an external HD. The only other option I can see is to use dropbox, which I'm pretty sure has a limit to about 10 gigs.. Thanks for the advice, though, SH.
  6. It has been far too long. As such, here is an update on a few things that I've been working on. First of all, in the vein of the Korriban Skybox, here are my most recent renders of the Telos surface. The next Skybox I want to address will be to finish my Onderonian one, which while looking better, still needs some tweaking (Especially in the sky overlooking the landing bay) ......................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Yet another project that I kind of started out of the blue is the retexturing of the most heinous of the uniform collars, starting with the TSF, and working through the citizen clothing (Which for me is probably the worst of them all) The TSF: Here's an image of a "citizenry" robe that I actually managed to finish to give you an idea. Grenn was among those of the TSF that I worked on, of which I also retextured his face. Before: After: ////////>>>>>> No idea why, but since I was working on the clothing, I also redid the detail on Atton's and Kreia's default clothing as well. Atton Kreia //>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. So, next on the agenda is releasing all of my completed mod updates and possibly working on a few others I made an update to my Visual Effects mod that adds lightning in a variety of different colors, as well as a new conjure effect with little details added to the actual animated texture, which I will be uploading soon. Pics: (And, yes there are more than just yellow, white, and green ) Secondly, I have the Alien's Redetailed mod at 90% completion, and plan to release it soon afterward. And, lastly, the skybox mod (Which has been waiting for, what? 3-4 years?) More Vibrant Skies, will be getting its debut update once I finish Onderon, and get the Dantooine one started in Terragen. This of course doesn't mean that I won't be working on various other things in the meantime, as you know. : } That's about it for now. As always, I thank you all for your constant feedback, as well as overall support in these most textural endeavors.
  7. I will very much be interested in that tool, since many of my fine-detail work gets lost when the textures get dropped into the game renderer.
  8. My two cents, the dark-skinned dark side transition flows quite well, (the second-to-last to last are my favorite of changes )
  9. I.... Could find some time to whip up something for you. For some reason, I really like creating "guts" for mechanical devices. Blame the Incredible Cross Section books from my youth.
  10. Hmmm.. I remember having a similar thing happen (one time it played rather quickly, and the second time, it just skipped the animation), but I assumed it was due to my PC acting weird. Still, I mean, the visual presentation is incredible with it.
  11. It's FF9's model, but here's the link. http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/433-darth-sions-glowing-eye/
  12. The texture looks great, but I have one nagging request. Could you transfer this to the glowing eye model as well? Otherwise, it looks appropriately of a high caliber of detail as is indicative of your work. Good stuff, DS
  13. SH with the animated images. I agree that a high quality model will, in turn make for a higher-detail texture. However, if you want to make some damage for yourself, try to first find either a good reference or build for yourself, the "skeleton" or innards of the Ravager first, then blend it using a layer mask with the original high rez Ravager you made. I apologize if I sound a bit rude or pretentious. Your texture looks quite frankly incredible (especially the fighters).
  14. It might look better, but you seem like you're not dealing with the key issue of actually showing/adding more damage to the ship. Adding the shadows or darkening parts is only making it harder to see, for me anyway.
  15. That's it! All if this talk of midis has made it entirely mandatory for someone to make a Kotor on gamemaker (or similar 2d game building engine)! :]

Well TSLRCM has released a few updates since then, but I was originally under the impression that it was causing trouble with my installation. However, at the time, I also had no idea what I was doing. So with both of those considerations, it may be prudent to look over it again to verify whether it still works.
  17. Looks great! Nice to see it wasn't just the cliche apophis (snake head design) . That said, I personally like that design the most A Stargate crossover mod would be awesome!
  18. These look awesome! I most heartily look forward to your remake of the Bandon Armor in vanilla colors (Should you decide to do it )
  19. 512x512 px It's only appropriate.
  20. Yeah. I guess I will try with the four render per side method. Thank, you so much Kexikus for the advice! I'm glad you feel as strongly about how bad the skyboxes need a revision. So far, I really like your choices of skies for k1. I am also curious how you are going to approach Kashyyk with its trees instead of clouds. Also, thank you all, for the kind feedback. I'm working on these as fast as I can, and will have a few screens of Onderon, as soon as I get the sides rendered. I will also be researching this, "4 panel method". Is there a tutorial, or does Terragen do it for you? BTW, I have Terragen 2. After that, I also have a plethora of retexes for Peragus and Telos to finalize and package. Lastly, my older package box labeling retexture will undergo a revision as well. Updates on the way once the renders are done..////
  21. Love how it recedes into the background. The giant cliffs in the horizon are a nice touch. : ]
  22. Free version only allows 500x500... :\ I hope they still look good though. I'm using Photoshop to clean up the pixelation, but it will take a while, and I want you to see what it looks like now at least. And.. Oh no, I've been working on these for years.. You just threw down the gauntlet by showing your own high quality screens. (in fact the Terragen file was unaltered from years earlier, except now I'm starting to learn how to use it better. )
  23. You should see the Onderon one rendering right now
  24. Updated as described. Tested in both Kotor and TSL. Please let me know if you have anymore problems.
  25. Returned to the Fray..
