    I'm with ZM90 om this - if it requires the user to have both games, then LucasArts can't be losing out, so would have no reason to punish other than as a display of power.

    That's a pretty good point - nice work there. As for myself, I support their inclusion simply because I don't like things that are unexplained (it's been around for millennia, someone must've worked out what it is and where it came from).

      Statement: But then again, I haven't had anything like that before. Mine just crashes all the time.

      That's the problem I first had, then it didn't start, then it gave me BSODs. The latest version makes you either pay or install its sponsored apps.

    I disagree on Revan not being that powerful - when you max out Kreia influence, she says looking at him was like staring into the heart of the Force - that and the fact that he could fight Sith he trained at the height of his power, even when he was a shadow of his former self speaks of an incredible ability - he fought Mandalore the Ultimate, he fought terentateks, he pulled the entire Rakatan language from the Black Rakatan's mind, and he built HK-47. Put all of those together and you get someone exceptional.

    Somehow Garrus managed to run on the spot in the air, and I had to stand underneath him so he could get down. It was weird.

    Su cuy'gar on behalf of the Mandalorian Empire; also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers going Grey Jedi - Jolee and Qui-Gonn are pretty much grey, so why shouldn't Revan or the Exile follow the same path?

    Started Mass Effect - it's awesome.

      I realised I hadn't set the .exe of the game itself to Compatibility Mode, only the launchers - did that and it works perfectly. Wrex is a pretty cool guy.

    Revan's duel with Mandalore
    There was about a second where that happened (I was on the Mando flagship - I saw the fight on the security cameras). Too bad Revan then repulsed him and got his footing back. If Mandalore had just broken his neck at that point, instead of giving him time to secure himself, things could've gone differently.

    Tried to start Mass Effect through Steam, but it crashes immediately on startup. Win7 64-bit, I've changed everything to XP SP3 compatibility with admin privelages, and ran the launcher directly - config works from the main menu, but the game doesn't. Any suggestions?

      I verified the game cache, and that was all fine; Google says running Steam itself as admin can help - I'll try that, and if that doesn't work, I'll contact customer support.

      Well, turns out I'd set compatibility on the launcher and config, but not the game itself - works perfectly now.

      Actually, there's a key difference between what the US does and what Russia's done: the US does it for oil, Russia did it purely for the land, and I don't support either.

      Nice)) No, I agree in that respect. Just keep in mind, that historically and culturally Russians and Ukrainians were the same. For a 1000 years. They separated only 23 years ago, and it wasn't even will of the people! It was decided by a bunch of idiot-governors. And Ukraine is suffering great financial strikes and social unrest. If Putin annexes the entire country now, history will know him as a savior and restorator of the Old Russia. Ukranians will only benefit from that.
