Hello! I realize I never really introduced myself here and now I bet it's a bit too late but I take the opportunity to do it now. I am one of the many KotOR enthusiast out there. I have contributed a few small modifications for the first Bioware installment and have never really finished the sequel (I am waiting for the final TSLRCM version to do it properly). I am italian but I've been living in Sweden with my wife since 2004. I am 40 and I seem I still love playing computer games, although I decreased my tolerance to stupid game concepts and subsequently raised my level of frustration. I'm also trying to find out who is the smartass ( ) that put that Jonas Salk plaque as my profile's picture.

Well, better late than never. Knowing might be useful again in the future.

Congratlations on a new quality release, Fallen Guardian! One question though: are this mod and Toasty Fresh's compatible with your own Gaffi Stick Improvement and Blaster Pistol Enhancement? (I am using manual installation and I see there is some overwriting involved) Thanks!

Well, it seems that all works as intended. I don't know what kind of glitch I've been experiencing or if I just got confused in the process but the lightsaber with the Solari crystal in is correctly flagged as non equippable for Dark Side characters. My bad.

No, I did not. I am using a simple violet crystal.

Of course it is used ingame. That's how I noticed it.

Hello! I noticed that the description for the Solari crystal expressly specifies that it should be restricted to Light Side use. The game is not consistent with this though as it can be happily assembled into the lightsaber of my very dark protagonist. There are two solution: either we amend the description or we really restrict it to Light Side. My preference would be for the latter, even for lore reasons.

Yes, Hassat Hunter. I was talking about KotOR 1. Sorry for not having pointed it out. The four tombs in Korriban are named as follow: Tomb of Naga Sadow, Tomb of Tulak Hord, Tomb of Mark Ragnos and Tomb of Ajunta Pall. Only in that one line is the Tomb of Ajunta Pall called Tomb of Freedon Nadd. There are hints about the developers having changed the name from Freedon Nadd to Ajunta Pall at a later stage. In fact Ajunta Pall's sword tag is "k37_itm_freedont" and Ajunta Pall himself's is "kor37_freedon". My guess is that they forgot to change that line.

I am reviving this thread to report that there is one PC line in KotOR which makes me perplexed (Str 14287): "I've heard there's an artifact sword in the tomb of Freedon Nadd." I think it should be correct to change "Freedon Nadd" with "Ajunta Pall". Since I am maintaining an updated dialog.tlk I'd like to make sure we all agree.

Nice to know all seems to be fine. About possible releases, I am not sure whether I should make any modification made by me "officially" public because I think I might mess things up any time. I'd rather have the K1 Restoration team take a look at it when time comes and decide if it's worth their time proof reading this stuff and make it part of their project.

I tested my fixes on my local install and I am successful but I need to have confirmation that I am not fixing issues that only happen to me. If you Fair Strides and/or somebody else could take a few minutes to check that these bugs belong to the original game, I'd be happy to let you test the fixes for them. Thanks!

Hello! I would like to try only the restored cutscene with Zaerdra, the extra dialog with Carth after landing on Taris and the restored dialog for the Sith at the base. Could someone tell me which files I need to manually copy over from the K1R folder? Thanks!

I am really grateful, Fair Strides. Please tell me if you can do the following: 1) Go to Manaan 2) Go to the Mercenary Enclave 3) Speak to Shaelas and accept to investigate the issue of the missing young Selkath 4) Speak to the Iridorian Mercenary and ask about the missing young Selkath choosing the option "How many credits would it take to make my business your business?" At this point the game dialogue should break, making it impossible to continue with the game. At least, that's what's happening to me. Can you confirm it? Also please tell me if you could do the following: 1) Go to Manaan 2) Pay the fee to enter Atho City 3) Leave Manaan for any other planet 4) Return to Manaan In my experience, you'll find the door to Atho City still open, despite the Selkath Port guard telling you before that a fee is due for each time you leave the planet and then come back. Hello! I thought to ask here if anyone else is experiencing the same. I played the game 3-4 times in my life with and without modifications and as long as I can remember I have always had this kind of issue with the Inventory icon. It should blink when new items are added to the Inventory but in my case it blinks even after I have looked at them and all items are thus examined. Am I being dense and there is another reason why it still blinks? Thanks!
