  1. No worries, at least you know it doesn't work exactly in the same way. However when HoloPatcher is provided with a mod it should work with no issue (for example I've always used HP for my mods and they all work smooth). You just have to use the patcher included in said mod.
  2. They're not exactly the same Installer. There have been reports that errors appear when HoloPatcher is used instead of TSLPatcher. You need to use the Installer that is included in the mod.
  3. Yeah send the installog here please
  4. @Synchro Alright, thanks for the explanation !
  5. If this works whenever I try it, I'll come back and throw in a 5 stars because DAMN this is great. However, you say "the manager applies the patch while the game runs." Does that mean we have to redo the process every time we want to play ?
  6. The description More precisely, I did 2 things recently : - moved some stuff to the compatibility section for lazy people who don't want to read everything. - mentioned Shae's pazaak mod, which makes our opponents' start sometimes instead of us always starting first (it's a very innovative and wanted mod so I thought it was worth putting in there with Easy Pazaak and Balanced Pazaak).
  7. No that shouldn't be an issue at all. That's not how it works. Bro I've been modding this game for 2 years I know what I'm doing lol. That's very weird since streamvoices is just the folder for the dialog sound files but ig I'll try anyway next time I want to get back to this mod. Thanks for the tip.
  8. Put what in order ? No because the Steam Workshop is broken and does NOT know how KOTOR modding works, which is why the community has created tools such as TSLPatcher and HoloPatcher. This being said, next time I try, I think I'll get the Workshop version since apparently it's the updated version and there's no need for compatibility for this particular mod as it's a total conversion one. Hopefully I'll be unstuck. At any rate, a big expansion mod with game breaking bugs (and no installation instructions), IMHO, needs to be fixed before it is published (and in this case it seems that the creator isn't working on it anymore, ig the mod is too old lol), which is why I didn't bother trying hard to get it working.
  9. If you like restored content, you can still get the Restored content mod for K1CP after K1CP itself, Sleheyron works with both of these. There are also several standalone mods compatible with the 3 of them, that restore big parts of K1R (the restoration mod you mentioned), such as the Manaan Pazaak Tournament (sorry for "advertising" my own stuff lol but just trying to help). Just fyi, the kotor 1 restoration mod isn't being worked on anymore (more or less finished but still) and has some issues, which is why we didn't bother about compatibility with this one (for instance, it takes almost all of the placeables slots so you can't have it + Taris/Manaan taxi speeders and diversified jedi captives on the Star Forge). Restored content for K1CP works perfectly however, and is still updated often to this day (for example, the iriaz on Dantooine have been added a week or so ago). Good luck finding your perfect installation!
  10. Sorry this mod is too big to be uninstalled unfortunately. You'll need to restart your installation if you chose the wrong version. Although if you don't have too many placeables, you can keep the version with the holograms. If you don't know how many placeables you have, you can look for the "placeables.2da" file in the Override folder in your game installation and send it to me via Deadlystream (PM, not here preferably) so I can check for you.
  11. No it's not. Sao's just not very used to compatibility stuff with KOTOR and apparently he didnt change the description yet. K1CP -> RC-K1CP -> Sleheyron works. Good game !
  12. Ah yeah my bad, you need K1CP for the mod to work. Lemme fix that real quick. Edit : Who the heck would install this kind of mod alone though... When I was looking for mods for this game 2 years ago the first thing I stumbled upon was K1R, right before understanding K1CP+RC-K1CP makes more sense nowadays. Edit 2 ; Done. You can download the new version if needed. A clean .mod file has been included and added to the Patcher. Installation instructions don't change.
  13. Of course I did lmao. I tried a LOT of things. What made me furious is it WAS supposed to work, there's literally nothing wrong with the dialogue and script, which is probably why it worked for you. But me... just a black screen. Anyway. Glad you can finish the mod ! (My K1 expansion will be a LOT easier to install. :D)
  14. Are you talking about Nadd's tomb ? Or installing the mod ? If it's the latter yeah no problem, I can help you if needed. Here are some detailed installation instructions : 0) Make sure you have a clean install of KotOR 2 without any mods, as this completely replaces the game with a "new one". 1) Download parts 1 and 2 of the mod then unzip both files. 2) Open part 1, go in Override, press CTRL + A then CTRL + C to copy everything, then go to your game's Override folder (probably this if you're on Steam : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\Override ) and paste everything here. 3) Open part 2 and do the same steps for the 3 folders "Modules", "Movies" and "StreamVoice" (copy paste every file that's in these folders in your game's respective folders (Modules, Movies, StreamVoice). You can skip "launcher"). The Legacy install worked better for me as for the Aspyr version the voice lines of the dialogues wouldn't work. If you're talking about Nadd's tomb... I gave up lol. I myself am a modder and mostly wanted to try this mod for reference points on several fields (story, fights, dialogues and lip syncing, etc.) for my own K1 post-game expansion so after trying for 10 minutes to see what was wrong I let it go.
  15. Yes that would be nice thanks. Especially since K2 already looks pretty good.
  16. Haha that makes sense, I'll probably do that then. Hope you'll like the mod ! Don't hesitate to leave a 5* review or even just a thumbs up reaction if you do enjoy it. Have a nice play ! Also, I forgot : you might want to play through Sleheyron first, you'll unlock new dialogue for my mod's related characters (and you have the new crystal option that you can install if you want).
  17. Read. The. Description. I know it's long but if you need information it is probably in the description. No laziness allowed here ! 😁 "I deeply linked my mod to Sao's Sleheyron : Story mode. If you download his mod and play through it, my mod's connected characters will react differently and you will unlock new dialogue options. I'd recommend installing his mod before mine." Plus there's even an option related to it. C'mon you can do it !
  18. Hadnt something like this already been made by someone ? This one I think EDIT : My bad it's an improvement for this mod lol
  19. Alright that's nice, thanks. I'll credit you for the texture. And congrats again for the mod.
  20. Is this texture already in the vanilla game ? I assume you didnt make it yourself ? And if you actually did, would you mind if I used it for my own expansion ? I wanted to add a small bit of the module (caves part with rakatan style columns) to my endgame expansion. Thanks
  21. Exactly ! Seems big but it's like it got out of nowhere !
  22. For the first question, I can already tell you RC-K1CP is compatible with Sleheyron as long as you do K1CP -> RC-K1CP -> Sleheyron. You can also do K1CP -> Sleheyron -> RC-K1CP which would be fine. BOSSR however... That mod is unfortunately basically incompatible with anything because of the high number of new placeables and stuff thrown in the Override folder. I advise that you do your playthrough with K1CP / RC-K1CP / Sleheyron and then make a new installation with BOSSR only and play from the given save game so you have a nice playing experience with no technical issues.
  23. Hm I'm making a full expansion of the game with HT, so... it's not a "complete mess" (at least the version I have), even though it's not perfect. I agree that new tools is a good thing when it brings improvements to the former ones however. But personally I don't see a problem with ChangeEdit either especially for 2DAs. It worked alright for Sleheyron, which is quite a feat.
  24. I believe it's another game ? Well that's nice, not very helpful for KOTOR though.
  25. Does this add anything more than what's already in Holocron Toolset ?
