Does the crash happen directly after the dialog or during the fight ? If it's during the fight, this is a very unusual problem. I'd have no idea how to fix it. If it's right after the dialog, something must be wrong in her dialog file.

@LoneWandererI get what you mean, even though I don't agree with everything you said. As I wrote in one of the posts up there, you can definitely play with K1R, even more if you count BOSSR, which we indeed didn't talk about. Yes, people are indeed looking for restored content, for which K1R is a good solution for most once in a life time KOTOR players. From what I've understood though, there are issues with the K1R, reported by users. for example, this one : This comment was under the RC-K1CP mod and is apparently approved by many other users. This proves your point, because yes, people want restored content, but also mine in which K1R does have big issues that if you're not blind you are going to notice. So imo, people want the K1CP because it actually fixes issues that were in the vanilla game (without counting the ones K1R and BOSSR bring). People want K1R because it restores content, yes, but if you look more closely, the RC-K1CP is becoming bigger and bigger and as I said earlier, K1CP + RC-K1CP > K1R. Now BOSSR is indeed an interesting point. To be very honest though, BOSSR apparently brings many issues, especially on other devices than PC, such as mobiles. Which is why I think people are expected to play it once (the guy who did it even included a save especially to do that) and that's it. So finally, it's up to users what they prefer. This guide doesn't have any issue imo, it's just that an alternative with K1CP could be made. I think the debate K1R/K1CP is still worth it though. I might try to mess around with BOSSR files to see if I can make some kind of compatibility patch. Apparently there aren't that many issues between K1CP and BOSSR. Perhaps @DarthParametric or @N-DReW25 could do it themselves ? Edit : For BOSSR, a compatibility patch doesnt cause any permission issue (yes, it is definitely going to take time though lol), and for the drinking contest, I have permission from FairStrides. For now @LoneWanderer, you can still be right. Soon, there won't be any place for disagreement heheheha ! Oh and one more thing : @SAO1138's Sleheyron story mode will be compatible with K1CP, but I'm not sure about K1R. Pazaak Tournament incoming !

How's your installation, what mods do you have installed that could modify her dialog ?

@HraithPlease read the whole post before answering. As I said, K1R has a main goal which is to restore content. K1CP fixes way more things, but it doesn't add everything K1R adds, obviously. Is K1R done ? Is it not ? Depends on the definition. You have no idea exactly what Bioware cut and what they didnt. K1R only restores what its team knew the existence of. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you didn't look at all of my links because I sent you to the Restored content project for K1CP which is in development right now. It already adds quite a lot of things actually, including this : You should take a look at it. I linked it to you in my first post. So no, it doesn't restore everything. But yes, K1CP+RC-K1CP is a better idea than K1R. "I can only assume you didn't link to the "other things that can be added to K1CP" because you couldn't find them either". Again, depends what we're talking about. I linked to the Iriaz restoration, because for me it's one of the best things, makes Dantooine way more alive, but I'm pretty sure there are other things out there, I'm just too lazy to look for them, however you can do it yourself. I feel like I'm providing enough here. You're not even looking at everything I link to anyway. K1CP is also way better because of compatibility. It's basically compatible with everything. Not K1R. I'm making the Pazaak tournament come back with a better quality and compatibility, so yes, there is restored content for K1CP, already existing and coming out regularly. If you really want the beer contest stuff, you can directly ask @N-DReW25 who's currently working on the RC-K1CP and he might include it. Perhaps I can make it myself, and include it as an option to the Pazaak Tournament. I just need permission to use the files. K1CP is a work in progress to make the game better, in bug and other issues fixing for K1CP as well as in content restoring for RC-K1CP, and it does that perfectly. Again, you can play the game with K1R, it's fine. It's actually what I'm doing on my phone. But do your computer a favour, make your PC installation K1CP / RC-K1CP. And bro, please tell me you're not the kind of guy who's saying this seriously : "Bastilla's bright blue eyes and slightly see thru lingerie"...

I can't say anything but to go for it ! Good luck !

@Hraith I'm afraid you're wrong. K1R is the one that's obsolete. K1CP still gets updates while no one's been working on K1R for several years. K1CP is also way more vanilla friendly than K1R as its intent is not to add content but to fix glitches, bugs and other issues within the game. You can see the whole list of changes here. Also, you might want to take a look at this if you like restored content. Come in the DeadlyStream Discord server for more information (PM me if you want the link to join). @luj1 The K1CP is by far the most important KOTOR mod in 2025. It fixes a tremendous amount of glitches, bugs and other issues, while K1R only adds some (some good, some not very vanilla friendly) content. Its main goal is to restore content. The K1CP is not only newer and a better companion for your game, but it has this if your thing is restored content. Then you can add as many mods (restored and added content included) as you want, since most of the mods here and on NexusMods are compatible with the K1CP but not K1R. K1R is in fact incompatible with quite a lot of things, which is why I'm restoring the Manaan Pazaak tournament as a standalone mod in order to give the possibility to players to have it in their K1CP installation. Furthermore, there are already things the K1R restores that can be restored independently, which means on a K1CP installation. For example, this one. For the best game experience, follow this guide for Widescreen and high resolution (if you have any issue, you might want to look at this), then download the K1CP and the RC-K1CP then you can get back to this guide for the textures, skyboxes and everything else. You should also download this amazing and underrated cinematics overhaul. May the Force be with you both, and if you need more help, I'm here.

@tff500 I won't be installing this for many reasons I won't list but some of your ideas are good. If you enjoy the game with these changes, everything's alright.
-
@tff500 Overriding the whole .mod files is a very bad idea for compatibility. What even did you do in these ? Some of them aren't even about Korriban

@AxConsortium "The quest stages in the journal could easily be fixed, but it would require editing the global.jrl file, which I opted out of for the time being, until I learn how to properly incorporate TSLPatcher." You might want to use HoloPatcher instead. Works the same way, but is faster, more recent and efficient.

I actually didn't know that. Nice one. However, I still think the best place to ask important questions is at the bottom of that page ( https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2739-manaan-rapid-transit-system/?tab=comments ) in the comments section. Then you just have to scroll down instead of clicking a button. It's not a big deal, but beginners like me might not know that this "Get support" button is actually important. I always look at the Reviews / Comments section first and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Hey @Salk , glad you like it ! For the textures, there are several main reasons : 1) Actual reasons : - I wanted to use @LoneWanderer's modders' resource's SWTOR speeders as I thought they looked great - The yellow taxi was looking bad with Manaan colors imo ; Furthermore, from what I've understood, Ahto City and Manaan have basically 2 main colors : blue and white / grey. Thus, the choice of model was quite obvious. - As you said, the yellow taxi, when compared to Capitaine Spoque's mod, could imply that you would have to pay. I have included plot explanations for why it is free, for more realism. 2) Plot reason : - The speeder, in my interpretation / explanation, could be built by an Ahto City's official public company, which is why the security selkath now has his new line. Therefore, the speeders' colors should match the city's. I have my own question though. Why don't you comment directly on the mod's page ? This way, more people would see your comment as well as my answer ! Have a nice day/evening !

View File Manaan Fast Travel system Main idea Has the time it takes to get from one end of Ahto City to the other ever seemed too long ? Has it ever annoyed you ? If so, this mod is exactly what you need. It adds a custom speeder, using LoneWanderer’s modder resource, to every part of the city, allowing you to traverse it in seconds. This mod is more an add-on to Capitaine Spoque’s Taris Rapid Transit System than a standalone one. Thus, to get the best game experience and as I used some of his sound files, you will first have to download his mod. You can find it here : https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1666 However, if for some reason you don’t want it, you have 2 options : 1) You won’t have power on and off sounds for the speeder, even though it will still be enjoyable, don’t worry. 2) You download Capitaine Spoque’s mod but you do not install it on your game installation. You will instead go to his tslpatchdata folder, take the In.wav and out.wav files and put them in your streamwaves folder. Then you will have the power on and off sounds. I recommend copying these 2 files somewhere near my mod's location in case you need to reinstall it. After having done that, you can delete the rest of his mod from your computer. See Installation section for when to follow these steps. To give more realism to my mod, and in order to having a better insertion into the game, I added a new line to the security selkath who opens you the door to the city, as well as some directly on the speeders. You will have to load a save before entering Ahto City. Starting a game where you are in the docking bay module (and in which you’ve never been further into the city) should be good. Another important advice : if you haven't already, you should really consider downloading and installing (before mine) these 2 essential mods for Manaan, for it to look like in the screenshots (especially the blue ground that goes so well with the speeders imo) : 1) Manaan Complete Overhaul by Jorak Uln (animated and better textures) : 2) High Quality Skyboxes by Kexikus (better skies for every planet, including Manaan): Installation 1) Make sure you have the required mods, (especially Capitaine Spoque's unless you don't want to use it), installed 2) Download mine and unzip it (small tip if you’re struggling : use 7-Zip) 3) Run the installer and follow the instructions given by it 4) This is where you will do the option 2 steps given in the Main section if you really don’t want to use Capitaine Spoque’s mod. 5) You’re good to go. If you enjoy the mod (or even if you didn't, as long as it's constructive), feel free to leave a review. Doesn’t cost much and is really appreciated. To uninstall this mod, you will have to do what HoloPatcher put in the "backup" folder when you downloaded the mod (taking MOD and 2DA backup files, putting them back in your game installation, and removing my mod's files from Override and streamwaves). You can also delete the In and out .wav files from streamwaves if you didn't use Capitaine Spoque's mod. Important NB : If for some reason the Patcher can't find your game installation, you may want to look for it manually. In that case, there are some small steps to follow : - Go in the "tslpatchdata" folder - Look for "changes.ini" and open it (Edit or Edit with Notepad ++ for example) - Search "LookupGameFolder=1" in the first section (Settings) and set it to 0 instead of 1 - Save, close and run the Installer again. Now you'll be able to choose manually your game installation. Compatibility My mod is fully compatible with K1CP, as it is now (in 2025) the main reference for modders. It probably won't be compatible with K1R because it adds a row to placeables.2da which has a limit of rows, and from what I've understood K1R uses all of them. Apart from that, it will basically be compatible with everything as long as your placeable.2da has less than 255 rows filled (which should always be the case because apart from K1R, no mod adds as many rows to this file as it would require to reach the limit). furthermore, as I used HoloPatcher to modify the .2da and .mod files directly in your game installation, and also named my files with the most customized names I could, you shouldn’t have any conflict with mods you already have installed. However, if for some reason you encounter any issue, feel free to report to me. Thanks 1) SAO, who generously gave me a base for the mod, that I just had to improve and make compatible with HoloPatcher. 2) Capitaine Spoque for his brilliant Taris Rapid Transit System, as well as the help he brought. Thanks for teaching me how to modify MOD and GIT files, and how to set up the Patcher properly. 3) LoneWanderer for his awesome speeder port from SWTOR 4) All the amazing people who made the awesome tools I used for this mod : Holocron Toolset, Kotor Scripting Tool, ChangeEdit and HoloPatcher. 5) The KOTOR and, more precisely, DeadlyStream community (even more precisely, those who download the mod 😁), as the game is still alive thanks to all of you.
