  1. Might I suggest making a mod for a Bronze color fix that's TSLRCM compatible then? I'd also suggest making it comaptible with HOTOR (see the download section for more information.) Perhaps you might make a poll to see what colors folks might be interested in for possible additional color crystal pack. Oh . . . and welcome to Deadly Stream Forums, Crixler!

  3. Looks like part of your description got cut off. I'd like to be able to read the rest, if possible.
  4. That sounds like something I could imagine being called a "modesty fix." While I don't think it needs to necessarily be in TSLRCM, it would make for a wonderful optional mod if someone desired to do it.
  5. I know a lot of folks have seen the pictures you've posted for M4-78 EP right here at Deadly Stream. Might you also update some of the threads over in the M4-78 Social Group over at LF as well? That's just in case they don't know to come here. No rush on this request, BTW.

  6. Help us help you. Start by telling us . . . 1) What mods you have in your current install of TSL - include links to the mods. (No one can claim to know how all the mods work so we need that to reserach your problem. 2) If you're on Deadly Stream, you're most likely using the TSLRCM. If so, we'll need to know which version. If not, we'll need to know that too but that's just common sense. 3) Sometimes in order to have compatibility, you have to install mods in a certain order. In what exact order did you install of these mods?
  7. Thanks again for the mention in the readme, Dak. Any chance for screenshots for the Armored Robes in the original post of this thread?
  8. 1) Added a link to the mod so folks will know what he's talking about. 2) If this is confirmed to work (or not to work) with TSLRCM 1.7, will someone please update the compatibility list to include this entry?
  9. If you get that working, might I suggest you offer it to Logan23 for inclusion in his Revenge of Revan mod? Redrob41 (also attached to ROR) might be able to assist you with UVM mapping. I suggest private messaging him to confirm that first though.
  10. WCH is referring to the "Recent Status Updates" section on the right hand side of the top-most page of the forums.
  11. I can't correct them all, HH! LOL
  12. I'm not sure what the glitches are in that "n_darthnihilus" file but I nominate that those issues get fixed before the release of TSLRCM 1.8.
  13. Has anyone ever noticed their spelling dramatically improved in their posts the day after they made them? ;)

There have been a few others. The worst part is when I have to go back and correct my own mistakes. It usually occurs in this comment section. I'll make a post right after and then delete the one with the mistake. "A frustrating turn of events . . ."

  14. Too bad that I can't see the link on this computer. WCH, send me an e-mail at my work (.mil) address if you wish to chat! Back on subject . . . I'd like to see what Zbyl and Stoney have to say aboyt K-files. I bet they have some fun anecdotes to share.
  15. I have no ability to use the chatbox where I am right now. Sorry folks! However, feel free to send me an email at my work account!

  16. Speaking as someone that's old, I think it's fair and right to acknowledge the efforts of "those that came before you" and made the “modding road” easier for users to walk. When PCGamemods.com bit the dust some time ago, folks considered themselves lucky that there was another place to turn to in order to download mods. Kfiles was and is an easy to find repository of all types of mods – from the basic to the very advanced - for both K1 and TSL. Let's think of a few reasons why we at Deadly Stream should be grateful for Kfiles 1) Unmasking PIKMIN / DARTH BALOR: If it wasn't the efforts of the folks both here and over there, a plagiarist might have kept M4-78 from being published as widely as it was. K-files looked at the facts and unlike some other places I could mention DIDN'T tar the whole team with the same accusations of plagiarism. 2) I don't know about you but I like the reviews at the top of the page over at K-files. The files may get approved here quicker but there was something nice about having a experienced modder actually use your mod and make comments before opening it to the floor. They don't seem to really do that anymore but I did like it. 3) Poll questions and picture of the day: They may not have updated their POTD for some time but these used to be a center of attention at K-files. I personally remember seeing a series of pictures done by someone named Darth_Sith44 (but I'm probably remembering the name wrong.) It was the first time I realized that you could alter the cameras inside the game for such a purpose. I wouldn't mind seeing trivial poll questions appearing over here. Of course, since I came up with two trivial poll questions about lightsaber colors lately, I might be a little biased. There's something else as long as I'm rambling. Deadly Stream is mostly focused around TSLRCM and mods that will work with it. It had a life as a forum before the download section existed. Kfiles on the other hand is more utilitarian in nature. If folks wanted to discuss a mod at length, they didn't do it there - they did it at LF. Sure, Kfiles hasn't been the same since the page was bought out by the company that currently owns it. However, I'd sure as hell miss it if it left the internet today. (Again.) If you all think that K-files should bite the dust, perhaps you should look through all the mods that have been published there over the years. You know, just in case it does. (Again.) /rant
  17. The portion regarding Bao-Dur (possibly) dying as part of the HK Factory I would like to see but only as an optional add-on and not part of TSLRCM proper. VP, it does look like it would be a worthy inclusion for one of your releases - if not for Malachor VI, then one of your packs. I once had my own work up on how to set up Bao-Dur's death at the hands of the HK-50's on Telos but unfortunately, it's saved on my home computer where I have no way of getting it. (Stoney probably has my most recent version of it.) I even had worked out what lines could be spliced in order to have as much of it voiced as possible and where to set up the cameras. (I pictured the shuttle that Bao-Dur and HK-47 used would land on the platform just outside the Czerka Underground Base.) VP, it is interesting that by using the VO actor for Logan23's ROR - you're essentially proposing killing the Bao-Dur before he can appear in the sequel. If the same VO actor voiced both instances of Bao-Dur, I'd find that somewhat amusing.
  18. Regarding your post in this thread (http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/376-bugs-and-minor-inconveniences-with-tslrcm-17/page__st__380)

I recommend listing all mods (including links to where you downloaded them) to your post. Your answer will likely come quicker if they know exactly your game is working (or not working) in your particular case.

  19. 1) But you do sound impatient! LOL 2) Giving out a percentage done is a trap. Even if in their heads, they had a percentage mapped out, that doesn't take other matters into account - such as bug-removal and beta-testing. Situations like these two can throw off a timeline: Will adding this cutscene over here break something over there? "Such and such modder" can offer their input/modding talents even though he wasn't available before?
  20. On the other hand, I prefer to guide to show what I've missed. I may get through the plot just fine but may have missed all the options. For example: it wasn't until I had completed the original KOTOR a few times before I realized I could actually "redeem Yuthura Ban" and not only bring her back to the Light Side but actually see her at Dantooine.
  21. I'd love to see one myself. it would be really great if they could get the guy that wrote this walkthrough at GameBanshee.com to do it for M4-78 Enhancement Project. To be honest, I'd to see one written in the same style for the HK Factory, the Coruscant Mod, Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion, and eventually Malachor VI . . . but I digress.
  22. I recommend checking this thread which covers this a little: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/606-tsl-vanilla-plot-holes/
  23. Perhaps you'll try your hands at Twi'leks next? Although I've seen reskins both great and shoddy for Twi'leks, it's unfortunate that there's only one body model for each gender. (I don't count Mission as she's a unique character.) Even altering the lekku (head tails) might be great for a start but some alteration in the mesh around the face would be a welcome change! (I bet that Redrob41 and Logan23 would like to see something like that for Revenge of Revan too!)
  24. Wow, this thread is still up? Neat. I had some spare time and thought I'd go through some of these. Remember, the Exile's return has been posted mostly everywhere in the "coreward databases," according to HK-47. Though G0-T0 was looking for the Jedi, he was merely acting upon the information he had access to in those databases. Atris was the one that broadcast the information. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over agin expecting a different result. She did it with releasing the Exile's "homecoming" information and also she tried it before - in order to draw out the enemy at Kattar. Since G0-T0 knew about the Exile's return, who's to say Green didn't have access to the same information? Then again, maybe Admiral Onasi just told him that the Exile is an Exiled Jedi - as they were working together as well. T3-M4 was sent out by Bastila (or Carth) to find anyone that could help Revan. Who's to say that T3-M4 didn't seek out Kreia - his/her former master? T3-M4 obviously had the ship - the navicomputer can only be used by him, if you all recall. Additionally, we do know pretty much every major figure (in the game) knows the Exile is coming back. Why wouldn't Kreia know too? Put T3-M4 searching for Kreia in the Ebon Hawk - and Kreia searching for the Exile using the information sent out by Atris and it isn't that much of a coincidence. If you take what I said earlier as fact, that would Kreia lying. That bothered me too. But there's very few continuity mistakes. I do recall one cut line saying Revan destroyed Telos even though it was well established the Malak did that in the first game. (I think the cut line was originally said by Kreia as I recall re-splicing it so she said Malak instead of Revan.) Perhaps a quote from Chris Avellone himself might explain that . . . See previous answer. Additionally, in his first conversations, he does say he doesn't want to talk about the war if you don't mind, which seems to suggest that at some point you'd likely be talking about it more in some detail. (Greater detail than what wound up in the game files anyway.) I think I may had a thread about that somewhere . . . oh yes, here. In Sion's defense, he can bring himself back from the dead over and over again, as long as you don't erode his will. Since they cut out M4-78 pretty early, it stands to reason her character was fully developed yet. (Hell, even M4-78 doesn't have any lines voiced or wirtten in the game.) Perhaps the game maker, didn't want to hear the voice actress do even more lines? Grey DeLisle also performed the voices for Brianna and the other Handmaidens. (Ok, for the last part - I kid, I kid.) Echani were also in KOTOR1. One is being hired by the Sith in a cantina on Manaan - the same cantina that the Selkath asks you to do a mission to find missing Selkath children. Echani is both a near-muahm species and their unarmed martial art. In this case: Wookieepedia is your friend.
  25. Remember: she also pulls the "catatonic state" trick later - when the Exile is about to face the Red Eclipse gang. The Exile's companion's are about to fend off the attackers when Kreia incapictates them and then lies on the ground. I think I'm remembering the scene corectly . . .
