It is now time to decide when we'll play tomorrow. State your time available to play in your time zone and your country. I will update this post and put everyone's time in GMT so everyone can clearly see when everyone else is available. As I will be off Saturday, I will lean towards the majority vote. Current available times: Zbyl2 1400-1700 GMT (Poland 1500-1800) gua543 1800-2000 GMT (Bulgaria 2000-2200 GMT) -
Jedi Temple Mod and its expansion
Sith Holocron replied to klorin's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
As far as I can tell, the problem seems to be on Filefront/Gamefront's side, regarding IP addresses. The solution seems to be to change your browsing IP address. Filefront doesn't serve the following countries and blocks IPs located within them: Game Front file downloads are not supported in the following territories. If you’re not in one of the below territories and are still having issues with our servce, please submit a ticket and we’ll look into it. Argentina Mexico Chile Spain Thailand Poland Colombia Brazil France Venezuela Italy Peru Uruguay Malaysia Turkey Indonesia India Ecuador Costa Rica Honduras Hungary Philippines Portugal Romania Russian Federation Serbia Singapore Sweden Japan Indonesia A possible bypass . . . thanks to "JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan" from LucasForums for posting this... Folks have managed to get around the problem by using a proxy, specifically, incloak.com. Here's how to do it: 1. Go to the Filefront mod you want to get. (For example, Jedi Academy Mod Manager.) 2. Copy the page URL from address bar. (In this case, "http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/JAMM_Jedi_Academy_Mod_Manager;100577") 3. Go to incloak.com, and paste the Filefront page URL into the main box, and click "Hide me" Now you should be able to see screenshots, and be able to download. It's not as fast as accessing the site normally, but it's better than nothing. Other proxy options include: www.proxfree.com www.unblocker2013.info www.blewpass.com theyoutubeproxy.com newiptunnel.com Note 1: If the proxies have the option available, allow cookies and scripts. Note 2: You'll usually have to click the direct download link on the Gamefront download page ("Your download will begin in a few seconds. If it does not, click here."). Note 3: If you want to try more proxies, try the list from proxy.org. Note 4: Check the filesize of the download: If it's 0 bytes or something like that, the download is not working. Note 5: When using free proxies, there are often a lot of ads, so I recommend using an addon for your browser to block ads and popups, such as AdBlock for Chrome, or Adblock Plus for Firefox. Or of course, you could leave them as is; proxy sites, like any other site, use adspace to pay for their server costs. Now, when you download from Filefront/Gamefront using these proxies, there is an extra step involved: When downloading, it will download a file called "browse.php" (or in the case of blewpass, "download"). Note the size of the downloads - they are actually the files you want, but just renamed. Once it finishes downloading, you have to find it on your computer, and rename it to the proper filename. On the Filefront mod info page, you'll find the mod's filename at the top of the page. Pay attention to the extension, especially (.zip, .rar, .exe, etc). In theory, all you need to do is get the extension right, and the downloaded file will work, but for practicality reasons, it's a good idea to name it properly with the full filename (e.g. if you leave them all as "browse.zip", it will become very hard to know which file is which). So basically, to recap: 1. Follow the steps in my previous post, but using a proxy other than incloak. 2. After downloading, rename the file from "browse.php" or "download" to the actual filename, found on the Filefront mod info page. 3. Install/use mod as normal Good luck and may the Force (and the sought after downalods) be with you! -
It hasn't been done - probably due to the complexity of that type of mod. I do think it would be a big hit if that option was made available. Until then, the closest you'd get to that is "Handmaiden 4 Females, Disciple 4 Males (for TSLRCM 1.8.1)" - which won't help anyone using TSLRCM 1.8.2, obviously.

Just checked my schedule and I'm off both Saturday and Sunday. Let's try to set up a time sooner rather than later so folks can arrange to be present for this. What should we plan to be doing in the game on Saturday? I'd personally would love to get the World Boss on Coruscant. (It will be my first one.) -

Very happy today as I managed to get a purple lightsaber crystal (Advanced Derelict-Purple Indestructible Crystal) for my Red Eclipse character by opening one of those Contraband Packs from the Cartel Market. It adds +41 Endurance. Seeing as my character was only level 19 at the time and you only need a minimum of level 10 to use the crystal, that was a great help for my Jedi Consular. I also got a decent lightsaber in that same pack so - "yay" for that too!. I am pretty sure that most of you here are playing Free To Play. I am not only a subscriber but I'm one of the suckers that bought the Collector's Edition. What does that mean for you? Included in the Collector's edition (and the Digital Deluxe Packs) is the in-game holocamera which enables that person to take hud-free screenshots in the game. I can't take them of myself - I need someone else to do that ebcause of the way the camera works - but I can take pictures of you guys. if you want to pose your Republic player on a planet for desktop purposes, send me a PM and we'll try to set up an in-game photo session. (I don't have a Empire player on Red Eclipse yet so that's why I'm currently limiting this to your Republic characters.) When taking these potential sessions into account, know that I'm in the Eastern Standard Time zone, which is east coast of the U.S. Quidon: When I log onto Jedi Covenant again, I'll send a request to join your guild. PM me the name of it? (I don't want to clutter up this thread with stuff on another server.) -

gua543: I have a link that might assist you in this. Check for a PM shortly. -
You might want to try the official sound patch for a better music quality but it will be the same music. The issue with replacing music is rather that one's likes of particular pieces is/are objective - what I might like isn't necessarily what someone else likes. However, replacing the music for the cantina scenes should be especially simple as it's a complete piece of music, rather than a song that has to be able to mix with another piece of music. I'd say the most obvious choices to replace it with are the cantina songs from the original trilogy or the cantina songs from The Old Republic game. I'd personally recommend using 40's big band instrumental songs - the Glenn Miller Band comes to mind. Due to copyright issues, that's something folks should do on their own. (No uploading of copyrighted music, please!) sELFiNDUCEDcOMA: If it's sound effects rather than music causing an issue for you, might I suggest Shem's Ultimate Sound Mod? OK, back on the real subject of this thread: textures! I'm hoping you'll work on that mesh-editing once you've acquired more familiarity with 3d modeling. Those black areas are definitely an issue. I still think the texture below (or rather, the lack thereof) is a UV mapping issue. There should be a texture there for the floor grating but it doesn't show up for some reason in other mods.

Ahhh . . that's who that was! (I had to run to the bathroom and I took too long - so the game logged me out.) -
But what will Sapiens' version of that scene be like? We've already seen three different versions so far . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PodfqTulOCA

Zbyl: Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to add you all when I get home from work. gua543: UTC/GMT = Universal Time Code/Greenwich Mean Time, which is England's time zone. The +2 means you add 2 hours to the GMT to get your time zone. I'm EST (Eastern Standard Time) as I'm currently on the east coast of the U.S. -

How do I add a friend if they aren't online? I really don't know how. -
You might as well release it so folks can beta test the textures. Speaking of textures, I've something to point out regarding textures for the Ebon Hawk. I'll quote from my LucasForum thread about it. The interiors of the Ebon Hawk in both KotOR and TSL suffer from both shader and UVW issues. Some examples follow: Fallen Guardian also spotted a few issues. The parts he circled in Red are basically parts that are just not there. You can see right through them. Like, they're there on the texture, but not on the model in-game. Finally JCarter426 reported this one: Not sure if you can see it in the picture, but there's a slight crack that's especially obvious when the ship is in hyperspace. As any mod that wants to improve/alter the interiors of the Ebon Hawk will have to deal with this UVW mapping issue, I'm making a modding request to correct these graphical issues. Might you be able to deal these issues in your Ebon Hawk textures?

gua543, if you don't have me on your friends list, how would you know if I was at the fleet? Logic is your friend. I'm a Jedi Consular named "Emfour" - if you see me, add me. (And let me know that you've done so.) -

About to get ship on Coruscant. Have looking for you all so I can add you with no success. Can we arrange to meet online on Sunday at the same time so I can add you folks? -
That's a new issue to my ears. I'll ask the usual questions to get this rolling... 1) Are you using any other mods? If so, which ones? 2) What operating system are you currently using on the game computer?

View File Replacement Texture for Lightning on Malachor V Replacement Texture for Lightning on Malachor V 1.2 READ ME FIRST! Here's my third small mod. MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 14 MAR 2013 UPDATED RELEASE: 29 FEB 2016 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Description: Did the low resolution lighting ever irritate you when walking along Malachor V's surface? Me too! Once again, I've decided to do something about it. The new texture uses captures from a real lighting strike. Constructive criticism is welcome. About The Update: When the mod was originally released, Darth Sapiens requested a version that has a flare on the cloud the lightning would be emanating from. I made him a version like that as a thank you for his helping the original version. I think it should be available to everyone – so now’s your turn to try it out. PERSONAL NOTE (18 JAN 2025) I decided to make a video today that would show the difference between the "vanilla" lightning in game to the two versions in my mod. That's when I noticed a different version that was in my own Override folder which is a part of Kexikus' HQ Skyboxes II mod. In the spirit of fairness, I thought I should include Kexikus' version as well. My conclusion? Kexikus' version is the superior lightning and I recommend their version over mine. Hopefully, you've seen this personal note before downloading mine. Anyway, here's that video: Installation: There are two versions of the lightning now: the original version and the publicly-unreleased-until-now “flare” version. Both versions have their own folder. Choose your version's folder and put the 2 files inside it into your Override folder. The "Original" version has a choice of DDS or TGA. In that particular case, choose either one you wish. Uninstall: Take them out again. Known Bugs: None known at this time. Thank You Section: Zbyl2: For the original testing of this mod. Darth_Sapiens: For creating an alpha channel that made the black background transparent. Kexikus: For pointing out transparency issues in the "Original Version" Darth Parametric: For adding in the missing alpha for the "Original Version", correcting dimensions to power of 4 (2048x2048), and including a DDS version for optimal compression!
