  1. Damn, that's a shame to hear. First thought was to try and see if the Disguise property would somehow affect it, but no dice If the game can't do it, then the game can't do it then. Thank you both for your help!
  2. View File K1 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures Mahalo for checking out my mod! I promise I will get updated pictures down the road. This is a WIP port of my K2 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures mod I made recently. I was originally planning on just porting over the entire mod and upscaling the Gaffi stick textures, but the ranged weapons got messed up 🙃 So for now, this mod will only contain the upscaled melee weapons! This is my to-do list for this mod: Upscale ranged weapon textures to 512px & make sure they work Upscale gaffi stick textures to 512px & make sure they work The mod itself should be pretty simple to install - just download the file, go into the folder of the weapons you want to replace, and drop the loose files directly into your Override folder (should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Star Wars - KotOR2\Override, for example). Note that this won't be compatible with mods that change the models or retexture weapons, so if you want to use my textures be sure to overwrite the ones in your Override with the ones from this file! For major overhauls like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement where the weapons look physically different, textures from this file won't work with those models. Why should I use these textures over something like High Quality Blasters or Quarterstaff Replacement? Honestly, if the mods doesn't break anything in your game, you should just use those mods instead since they offer actually good weapon models and textures. This is more of an alternative for those who have problems with those kinds of mods or can't run those kinds of mods for whatever reason, or are looking to complement other high-res textures from those mods. Or you really, really like the vanilla textures and want to be a purist. Submitter Ol' Cappy Submitted 08/20/2022 Category Skins K1R Compatible Yes
  3. So I'm playing with one of my mods, and it basically adds companion armors to each companion and makes Atton's and Mira's jackets moddable. My question is: in the upgrade screen, how do I change the preview model that shows up? I basically want it to show, in this case, Atton's jacket when modding his armor instead of the normal PC clothes.

  5. View File K2 Companion Starting Armors Aloha! Thanks for checking out my mod. This originally started out as a mod for getting Bao-Dur some non-vanilla starting gear, but I ended up expanding it and creating starting armors for each companion that didn't have one before and making Atton's and Mira's jackets moddable with underlays to keep them more useful. Now every companion can use their default appearance and have it be somewhat competitive to some of the mid-game gear and (hopefully) become a niche choice of equipment for some people! This mod uses TSLPatcher, so it should be compatible with any mods that don't change what armor Kreia, Bao-Dur, Handmaiden, Disciple, and Visas wear when you first meet them. Mods that change or alter their default appearance, such as Ultimate Character Overhaul, should work just fine with this mod since each armor is actually a suped-up generic clothing item. Please feel free to use this mod as you see fit! If you wanna include it in your mod, go ahead - just credit me if you do, that's all I ask. 7. View File K2 Upscaled Vanilla Weapon Textures Mahalo for checking out my mod! I promise I will get updated pictures down the road. I just hated how ugly the melee weapons looked, especially in comparison to all of the upscaled and re-done textures and models we can get nowadays. While not quite the job that something like High Quality Blasters does, this mod upscales all of the vanilla textures for both melee and ranged weapons using a mixture of ESRGAN and waifu2x AI upscaling to around 512-by-512px wherever possible with the goal of being as mod-friendly as it can be (so no model overhauls or anything like that - this is just a straight-up retexture). I offer both Melee and Ranged weapon textures separately so users can drag-and-drop whichever ones they want to use. The mod itself should be pretty simple to install - just download the file, go into the folder of the weapons you want to replace, and drop the loose files directly into your Override folder (should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Star Wars - KotOR2\Override, for example). 9. View File Unofficial Party & Player Underwear+UCO Patch and Red Shoe Restoration NOTE: YOU STILL NEED REDROB41'S PLAYER & PARTY UNDERWEAR TO GET ANY OF THEIR OTHER FIXES AND COMPANION TWEAKS INCLUDED IN THAT MOD! IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THEIR MOD FIRST BEFORE MINE, YOU WILL STILL ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS WITH THESE TEXTURES! So it turns out that the compatibility patch for RedRob41's Party & Player Underwear that is offered with Ultimate Character Overhaul does not include any of the PC underwear options - including the tweaks to the Dancer's Outfit for more consistent & muscular female PCs. This mod aims to fix that and add some additional tweaks, with the major one restoring the original red shoes all PCs got that was removed from RedRob41's mod. Please note that this is meant to be used alongside the compatibility patch that is offered by Ultimate Character Overhaul since that one affects party members while mine only affects the PC. There are 3 versions of the mod: Party & Player Underwear+UCO: This offers all of the PC underwear options from Party & Player Underwear in a similar quality to UCO. These are upscaled 2k textures of what RedRob41 offers in his mod. This one will have the upscaled female PC Dancer's Outfit tweaks, so grab those files from this folder if you want those fixed textures. Red Shoe Restoration for Party & Player Underwear+UCO: This restores the OG stylish red shoes on all of the applicable underwear options except for the Athletic ones since those are customized, and then all the textures are upscaled to 2k (similar to UCO quality). Red Shoe Restoration: Same as above, but for those not using UCO. This is only for those who are running Player & Party Underwear. All versions of my mod also include the following tweaks: Asian males now have more defined muscles. Their original textures had them kind-of non-existent, so I tweaked them to be more like the White male PCs. All shirtless male options now have HyperRealistic™ nipple colors instead of skin-colored nipples. Female shoes now have color-matching soles instead of the original white soles in the P&PU+UCO version. You also have the option of choosing to download uncompressed TGA files or compressed TPC files; generally speaking, TPC is nearly identical to TGA in terms of quality while being smaller in filesize, so I would recommend downloading the TPC version of this mod if only for the better load performance. Installation 1. Download Party & Player Underwear and install it. 2. (Optional) Download Ultimate Character Overhaul and the provided compatibility patch on that page, then install both. 3. Download this mod and simply drag which underwear options you want into your Override folder, then let it overwrite any other existing files. Uninstallation Just delete the following files from your Override folder, or let another texture mod that changes the following textures overwrite them: pfbamA01 pfbamB01 pfbamC01 pfbamD01 pmbamA01 pmbamB01 pmbamC01 pmbamD01 Submitter Ol' Cappy Submitted 07/23/2022 Category Skins TSLRCM Compatible Yes

  11. So, as part of a mod that I have been messing around with for personal use, I've been trying to give Zalbaar his own custom class that is identical in every way. The only thing I would like to change is the feat availability and auto-level/recommended feats so he can't get access to the armor feats. I know I could get around this by marking the sol_granted to 3 and not having it show up that way, but the game could give Zalbaar the armor feats if you put them in the recommended feats for the class. Is there a way to add in a new column at the very end of feat.2da and have Zalbaar's custom class reference that?
  12. Just tried it out and it worked! Thanks for the help and for the tip on the Force-using custom classes.
  13. View File Expanded Build Customization Mahalo for downloading my mod! Hope you use it to make some wild builds in the game. I made this mod because I personally really enjoy optimizing builds, and with K1 you often end up having some "dead" feats. jonathan7's mod, while doing the job, also felt like it was very incomplete since the player could miss feats if, for whatever reason, they decided to auto-level - and I also didn't like his Persuade change that came with the mod. Between those 2 things, I decided to make a more feature-complete mod that aims to do the following: Expand character build customization at both character generation and when becoming a Jedi Have auto-level lists not "forget" feats to compensate for the increased amount of feats Optimize auto-level lists mostly for companions to not have completely garbage builds, but still retain their "vanilla" build in some capacity while allowing a more smooth transition into a Jedi for players who wish to auto-level Fix T3's auto-level list (he would miss feats after a certain level if you kept him on auto-level) You got 3 flavors of the mod: 1) Vanilla Friendly is the one I would recommend for first-timers or for those looking for a "Vanilla+" experience. This removes the 2 attack feats from each of the non-Jedi classes and gives the player 3 feat points to start with. Jedi classes are unaffected by this version. 2) Bare Necessities is what I would recommend for most players. This removes almost every feat from the non-Jedi classes except for Armor Proficiency: Light, weapon proficiencies based on what each class gets from the footlocker at the start of the Endar Spire, and any auto-granted feats like Implant 1 for Scouts and Sneak Attack for Scoundrels. Soldiers get 7 feats to start, Scouts start with 5, and Scoundrels start with 4. All Jedi classes have melee and pistol proficiencies removed, and the player now gets 2 feat points when becoming a Jedi. 3) Full Custom is recommended for those looking to absolutely min-max or want to make some truly goofy builds. Every feat except for Armor Proficiency: Light and auto-granted feats are removed from the non-Jedi classes, so you will literally not be able to use a weapon unless you invest one of your points into a weapon proficiency feat. Soldiers start with 9 feat points, Scouts start with 7, and Scoundrels start with 6. All Jedi classes have lightsaber, melee, and pistol proficiencies and Jedi Defense removed, and the player now gets 3 feat points when becoming a Jedi. Players can still select Weapon Proficiency: Lightsaber and Jedi Defense as options when leveling up as a Jedi. Installation 1) Download and extract the mod folder to wherever on your computer. 2) Run the "Install Expanded Build Customization" executable from the mod folder. 3) Select your version and click on the “Start Patching” button on the bottom of the pop-up window. 4) Select where your game directory is - it should be something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor 5) Let the installer do its thing. 6) If there are no errors, you are good to go! Uninstallation You got 2 options: 1) You can delete both feat.2da and featgain.2da from your Override folder. OR 2) Go to the backup folder where you ran this installer, move those files back into the Override folder, and let the backups overwrite the current feat.2da and featgain.2da. Compatibility This mod doesn’t change anything except for feat.2da and featgain.2da, so it should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t make any changes to those 2 files. Even then, this mod should be ok to use with things like N-DReW25’s Sneak Attack X Restoration and Shem’s Feat Progression since my mod doesn’t touch the things those 2 mods do. This is not compatible with mods that aim to do the same thing, such as jonathan7’s Character Start Up Change, since both mods are similar in nature and affect a lot of the same things. 15. Hey, thanks for coming in to check this out! I've been messing around with feat.2da to get more familiar with KoTOR Tool and noticed that when I made all of the feats selectable for every class, Zalbaar was able to pick up the armor feats (even though it does nothing for him). That prompted me to mess around with classes.2da and create my own class to see if I could give Zalbaar a separate feat list - but I am not able to choose the custom class I made whenever I edit Zalbaar's UTC file. All I did was add in a new row to classes.2da and copy everything from the Scout row to the new row, but are there any extra steps I need to take in order to have the class selectable in the UTC files if it's even possible to give party members custom classes?
