  1. Alright, apparently I didn't have much luck in the way of setting up the installer. Also, only today did I realize a more efficient way of making the armband work without having to equip it. That said, I will be starting over on this mod, with the exception of a few files. What does that entail? Well... Wiping my working TSL directory. Copying the default installed directory, which includes the 1.0b patch. Downloading and installing the newest TSLRCM. Referencing old modified files to (possibly) fresher versions found in TSLRCM. Modify everything all over again. NOT SURE ABOUT THIS ONE - Rework the installer file so that this mod overwrites -rather than changes - the TSLRCM files (with backups made after using the installer). Play the game all the way through after using the installer the same way I force everyone else to use it, rather than just having everything in my override. Needless to say, this will take a while, and although I made quite a bit of headway as far as what would have been the next update, I've had at least three people tell me that they couldn't even use the armband, which I wouldn't have been able to figure out. Instead, from here on out, it'll work like an adrenal with unlimited uses and no buff. Players, I ask for patience. Modders, I'll likely ask for guidance. Moderators, feel free to take down the file. I don't want anyone downloading a defunct mod that only I can get to work perfectly.
  2. I will say what I always say - the most compelling way to tell a (somewhat) realistic story is either to novelize it or to make a movie. Star Wars is no different. I enjoy the mechanics of the game as I always have - it's an MMO, where party tactics matter in group content - so those didn't have any impact. Compared to what they did story-wise with the first two expansions, I'm finally in love with this game again. BioWare just needs to be kept honest. It feels like I'm playing Dragon Age again, where any choice I make could come back to bite me later. The only thing that's holding this back, however, is how morality plays a huge role for choices in Star Wars games, unlike Dragon Age, where the only meter you have is companion approval. This hurts the replay-ability of KotFE a little, especially if you're like me and most choices you would make every time, because that's just how I role (play).
  3. Saw the movie last night. Wow!

  4. Hmm, interesting. I suppose I'll have to make a script that makes you unable to swap out the party in Iziz, because that just doesn't make sense.
  5. SH asked me to post my characters here, so this isn't a bump! Featured in the following images is the Blue Scaline Armor Set. Name: Tirent Legacy Name: Sertlos Class: Sith Warrior Level: 65 Specialty: Juggernaut Server: Shadowlands I have two other jugs with slight variations on the name, but they don't see as much time in game. Tirent was my main progression toon, cuz Tyren was already taken. Name: Pirceus Legacy Name: Sertlos Class: Jedi Knight Level: 65 Specialty: Guardian Server: Shadowlands This one, I have one alternate toon with a slightly different name.

  8. Are you looking for it in the right place? Because if you installed correctly and it's equipped, it should show up in your usable items list in-game, where the energy shields are.
  9. Saved $1000 on plug-in bundles from Waves this weekend. Paid $300 for about 35 plug-ins. Best deal ever!

Very nice. Would have done the same but I'm not in the market for it at the moment. Perhaps next year!

Nice Gree Scalene armor. Did the Gree event last week?

  10. First, so do I. It's why I made it. Second, I think it's my favorite book. Now, to answer your question. You're supposed to equip it to your character. You can't use it on the ship. Once equipped, and in an area where party selection is enabled, you can use it-as you would a shield or the WhereAmI armband-to add/remove Handmaiden to/from the party.
  11. The most common practice for compatibility with other mods is two-fold: 1.) Test it with other mods. If you want to make sure it works with a specific mod, install that mod before you even start working on it. 2.) Use TSLPatcher. This method of installing a mod has become quite commonplace when it comes to maximizing compatibility.
  12. Yes. In fact, I just did. It's very simple, the icon no longer is of an armband, just a double ended arrow pointing to an 'H'.
  13. Technically, TSLRCM is required, and after a few people have presented issues to me with the current state of the mod, I want them all to know that I believe I have fixed those issues for the most part, but the installer needs a major update. I will hopefully have time to work on it during December, at the same time as trying to find a job.
  14. Alright, then I just added a Journal check to the first node in the PartySwap dialog.
  15. Hmm, interesting. I might give that a shot, considering DLG files are very temperamental. I just discovered that one of the dialog files that I told TSLPatcher to merge wasn't merged correctly. I'll probably just start over on the changes.ini file. Right, I forgot that he corrected himself. I wonder... Is there a global that is set for the Red Eclipse Counter, that is then reset after the encounter?
  16. Works like a charm now. Thanks Dastardly!
  17. Yeah, maybe. Don't know what I'll do then, but I'll probably remake my changes.ini and remove the return TRUE script. Maybe then I'll try to find out what is causing that bug that Goat is experiencing.
  18. Ah, okay. Well, just tried it out myself and it worked!!!
  19. Is that all I needed to do? Dang.
  20. Alright, I suppose just let it be known to install SLM before PartySwap for maximum compatability (not tested).
  21. Yes, he should. If he isn't, then you must have a mod compatibility issue or something, because I "removed" all the conditionals in that dialog file. The weird way TSLPatcher works is that it doesn't read changes in GFF files that remove data without adding new data. So I created a script that would return true no matter what. I wish there was a better way, but...
  22. I'll send it to you in a PM.
  23. Game is still crashing. Same scenario as above.
  24. First time I played KotOR, I made it to Taris and stopped playing for almost two years because I couldn't get into it. Then when I started playing it again, I played it four times in a row, only one of them remotely dark side.
  25. Alright, so the injector "worked", but the game crashed. I replaced the node from the walkmesh creation in Max ("walkmesh" as seen in image in first post) and didn't use the custom export. Still TSL.
