  1. I'm looking for a free to use sound effect for SWTOR style training sabers. So ideally it should sound like they do in the original game. Anyone here who has an idea for me?

KDJ had TOR style training sabers in his previous mods. They made a distinct sound when powered on. Not sure if they sound like the source material since I don't play TOR.

They don't sound like they do in SWTOR and also he used a vanilla sound file from TSL that does not exist in K1, so I can't use it anyway.

  2. Looks just like a vanilla map. Amazing work! One thing I wondered yesterday is the following: Do you already have an outline for the secondary quests? I'm asking since those might require specific places that need to exist in the area, so I wonder if you have a list of additional locations that are necessary for side quests or something like that? I just assume that you already know the planet story line and thus know the areas needed for that^^
  3. I somehow doubt that they have all the necessary animations
  4. Or edit the Toydarian row in appearance.2da so that they look different with and without clothing for example and then change one of their inventories. That is, if they are allowed to wear clothing or some other kind of armor item.
  5. Maybe we should get a sticky post for the tutorial subforum, that links to the old lucasforums tutorials. So that people looking for tutorials can find them.
  6. Whether Carth or Cede appears depends on the early game choices about Revan (I just don't remember which lead to Carth and which to Cede).
  7. Sounds like you don't have TSLRCM installed or something like that, but then again TSLRCM isn't required for this mod to work so it's somewhat weird that this happens. If you know how, you can just create the 003EBO.mod file, place it in your Modules folder and then run the NPC Overhaul installer. It only works on modules you haven't visited before. Did you keep that in mind when checking if it works?
  8. Me too And that would be really hillarious to watch xD
  9. Yeah, we need the very basic stuff like 2da, dlg and ut* editing as well as a general instruction on where to find stuff with Kotor tool. Also, information about the content of 2da files would be quite nice. I'm thinking about having something like a list that tells you the function of every column in a specific 2da file. Edit: And I'll gladly help with some of that stuff in about one month when my bachelor thesis is done.
  10. Awesome I was just asking because I remember you saying that you might make a TSL port that won't include all available TSL blasters. But maybe I just remember that wrong^^
  11. Same as with every other version of the game. Use the provided installer (TSLPatcher) and direct it to your game directory (in this case SteamApps/Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II or something similar). Make sure you have TSLRCM installed before doing so as is required by this mod. And if you use Steam Workshop, please refer to this guide.
  12. So these are all TSL blasters now? Or just the ones that were taken from K1?
  13. Okay, first thing: The TSLRCM 1.8.5 logo on the title screen is just one texture that does not necessarily mean that the mod is properly installed. It is a good indication that something is working though. Second thing: Installing mods mid-playthrough or removing them for parts of a playthrough is basically a guarantee to get problems. And then to make sure I understand you correctly: You got all of these mods (except for the Jedi Temple) from Steam, but copied their files into the main Override folder? If so, you probably had to replaces files during the process, right? That's probably the reason for your problems. One mod replaced TSLRCM files and thus reverted TSLRCMs changes. In order to get several big mods to work properly together you need to get them from here or from nexusmods where they include an installer that properly patches files instead of simply replacing them. And finally: Jedi Temple and M4-78EP need a compability patch to work together.
  14. Blank HK quest entries sound like a mod conflict. Please list all the mods you use (and where you got them with links). Also if I understand your description of the installation correctly you got TSLRCM from the Steam workshop and then copied these files into the normal Override folder? If so that's not necessary and might somehow cause issues. If you want to use the Steam Workshop to install TSLRCM, you'd just subscribe to it and you're done. BUT you then need to install all other mods to the TSLRCM workshop folder.
  15. Please post the questions and your answers of the second post of this thread.
  16. Yeah, then it might be SLMs fault. The problem with SLM is that it makes changes to many many modules by editing their .mod files, but instead of doing so with TSLPatchers function to actually edit the existing .mod files, it simply replaces them, thus reverting all edits done by other mods (except for TSLRCM and M4) prior to SLMs installation. That's how I screwed up my installation of PartySwap. I don't know if SLM and the Jedi Temple edit the same .mod files, but if they do I would suspect that's what's causing the issue. In that case, you could try to install Jedi Temple again on top of your current installation. But I highly recommend to make a backup of that installation first! I don't know if it helps in this case, but it did in my case with PartySwap and SLM. Edit: Jedi Temple does not edit any .mod files, so that's definetly not the cause. Still, installing SLM as early as possible is a good recommendation for future installations^^ Problem is that I'm now out of ideas... Maybe try to install the M4-JediTemple-Compability-Patch again. That includes all the files responsible for the planet transitions AFAIK, so maybe installing that again can fix your issue.
  17. First guess: SLM since that can cause incompabilites pretty easily due to the way it's installed. Did you install SLM or Jedi Temple first? Or the obvious cause: You screwed up installing the Jedi temple somehow^^ So the standard question: Are you sure you followed the instructions of both the Jedi temple and the Jedi Temple compability file exactly?
  18. I don't know how to be honest. But I can try. So please list all of your mods (with links), so that we can see if there is anything incompatible with the Jedi temple to be found there.
  19. Okay that's indeed a bug then. I would assume that something went wrong during your installation or that it's some kind of mod conflict since it worked fine for me when I used it with the latest TSLRCM and M4.
  20. Yeah, I'm not saying that it's working properly but that's not the fault of some incompability but just of the mod itself being broken. In fact, PartySwap even requires TSLRCM to be installed and is based on TSLRCMs files.
  21. There is no cutscene for that.
  22. Also, PartySwap is not incompatible with TSLRCM. It does have a few bugs in it's current version but those are not related to TSLRCM incompability.
  23. Maybe she just equipped the wrong robe for some reason. Have you checked if she's still wearing the robe from the mod or if it's just a standard black robe?
  24. Once I get to do the next update for the skybox pack I'll have a look at it and see if there's anything I can do. But I fear it won't be possible unless I reduce the quality of the skybox as that's always an issue when only some textures are replaced with HD versions while others stay SD. Thanks for the feedback
