Meh. Just sounds like angry fans to me. If you don't want to be lured into the vortex of big business, stop buying their products. Each and every thing you buy is considered as a vote to keep producing future products. I frankly don't understand what the big deal is. All I see is that Bioware is listening to its customers and is willing to modify their 'art' so as to make more people happy. Happens here all the time. As a modder, I know how this feels. You put your all into a project and give it TLC and when you release it, there's always some guy who has to go and say it isn't good enough or that it's flawed in some quintessential way. Here at DS it doesn't matter much, but when your job and way of life depends on selling those games, you try to rectify that as best as possible. And of course when doing so, actually providing feedback instead of just trolling is going to help things progress. If anything, this move by Bioware isn't so much condescending as it is a sell-out. But with a game that caters to personal choice so much like Mass Effect, it's hard to make your own artistic story and at the same time cater to what fans want. So maybe that 'sorry for making a crap ending, but...' apology you're hearing from that Ray dude is Bioware trying to NOT sell out to their fans but realizing they could have done a better job on the flipside. Too bad that even by doing that they're selling out.

Hmmm... if anything, I'd think the Mandalorians would make a revamped version of the Neo-Crusader logo. I mean, the Neo-Crusaders were more of a Mandalorian Wars thing and they were disbanded after that. I'd think that their new banner would be like a clan modified clan Ordo logo. But that would be quite outside the range of restoration.

Sense of security? Bioware is trying to trick me? What is there to hide really? The guy said they're listening to fan input and trying to accomodate fans suggestions, but not changing the essential ending. Cool, so they're maintaining the artistic integrity of the story and expanding on it too? Cool Sounds fine to me. Then again, I haven't played ME3 to know its ending (but from what I heard it's not that bad). Even if they screw up the DLC, and the ending still sucks, who cares really? Life goes on.

Read this earlier today. Looks like Bioware is willing to work with us on this one. I think he handled that pretty well. Not selling out to fans, but willing to improve their product and throw us a bone. I respect you, Bioware. EDIT: Actually, now I'm kind of bummed that I haven't played the game yet and won't get a chance to provide feedback for the new ME3 ending... well unless they're still working on the DLC by May.

No, the idea is to make characters specialized enough for certain areas. I guess what I mean is to amplify their strengths and or weaknesses. HK-47 should be specialized enough to be a formidable ranged attacker if built right. However, I too often get the feeling that the feats and skills you end up accumulating for him don't have an outstanding effect on how effective he is. Or handmaiden, considering that she's a good fighter, she sure tends to get knocked out fast. That sort of stuff is the sort of things I'd personally like fixed.

Now if we could only make the enemies hard/unique enough so that bringing along different party members actually had a significant effect on the game.

The crashing is pretty random. For now, just avoid that so you can beat the factory. Because unfortunately, this is a bug that comes and goes randomly.

Here's one thing I'm afraid of: It's one thing to slow down the bandwidth of pirates (which sucks) but it's another to accuse users of piracy and then do it anyways. This may sound decent in some eyes, but then what are they considering pirated material? Is downloading a freeware dvd ripper going to be considered illegal? What about console modding? emulators? Are they going to assume anyone using an emulator must need roms, thus meaning they download roms, thus meaning illegal downloading is happening? Hell, they already halted my internet to insanely low levels (without telling me) because I was using a torrent. I even have the game I was downloading, just not the means to turn it into an image file. Regardless... This is just more proof that shutting down the internet for a day isn't enough. We need to fight. I can't hack government websites, so I'm going to boycott music and film. I will go out of my way to avoid ever buying movies. I will not buy any more CDs ever. This is just.... ugh We are controlled by the rich. There's no question about it. If you think there is any question about it still, you'd better take your head out of your ass.

I haven't played DAII, but that's an interesting conjecture considering that originally, ME3 was slated for a November/December 2011 release. Seems a little inaccurate to say that EA was rushing them if they ended up getting 4/5 extra months. Then again, you could argue that a November release date was unrealistic, showing early signs of insane rushing, and that a March release was maybe more realistic. But even then, why not later? I don't know guys, I think someone at Bioware got really lazy towrad the end. As to who that might be is anyone's guess.

ME2 with Cerberus network DLC is pretty dec. Otherwise, I intend to pick up ME3 once the price goes down, or just wait til my birthday. We'll see about the ending

is ME3 so short that you guys can beat it in 5 days? Or are you guys just obsessive?

The game engine's behavior is sporadic, random and unpredictable sometimes. Scripts that worked fine before can break apart just by changing seemingly insignificant piece of data i.e. an unrelated object's tag. Also consider that timing animations is a pretty inaccurate system. In this case, I'd have to go in and change the animations, which is more effort than it's worth.
