  1. No offense, but I have a job and a life that is far more important than doing all this thankless work... ... ... HA! Just kidding! It's hard to say. I am pretty close to a new release. I think there are like two lightsabers more I need to add (and a few to fix). Then it's going to take a little bit to foolproof the installation app as well as writing console output. I have this crazy idea that if people run into issues, instead of describing the problem, they can just post the console output file to the forum here and I can see what specifically went wrong. Of course, this means that I have to be pretty descriptive with the output and probably do some error handling in the case of exceptions while writing files. TL;DR Might be awhile, but it will be awesome.
  2. What mods do you have installed?
  3. Why do I feel like you're going to keep extending the deadline until I submit something?
  4. No worries, I will take care of the compatibility.
  5. As always, these will remain in my override.
  6. It's not in the alpha. Will be in the next release. You are probably right, but this can be changed. I have to take a look at that mod though.
  7. Troubles on my mind, it's time to do some mundane modding to calm down.

  8. Isn't the midsummer mod off over? In true VarsityPuppet fashion, I put up a great WIP pic and then never released it!
  9. I apologize for the lack of updates. I know this sounds pretty cliche, but I've been busy with real life stuff. 30-40 hours a week of programming, summer classes to get a little head start and binge-watching TV shows on Netflix. The project is in a good state. I essentially have to go through and shave the saber count to the aforementioned number. I actually did have that done, but due to some unfortunate mistakes with Git, I lost my changes.
  10. Haven't done much modding, but I did put my TARDIS model into Unity and made an augmented reality demo with Vuforia.
  11. Ah haha, yeah. I meant mainly that at least this one is more like an actual space ship, not that weird coral-like sort of dealio that 9 and 10 had. Admittedly, it doesn't really have that many similarities to the old one. Would it be the best time to post this? lol I was going by the 50th where 11th and 10 called them "round things" I take it it might not have been your favorite. judging by your clear disdain for new Who Ah, no need. I do kind of like the other-worldly feel of the whiteness in the TARDIS. I'm intent on blending aspects of both, assuming we can ignore the coral version, the TV movie version and 11's first TARDIS. To be honest, it might very well just be mostly white. As cool as the prospect seems, if I'm going to have it fit in the Ebon Hawk, it'd probably just match up to whatever rooms were in there. Well, I had in mind to spawn the TARDIS with the use of the Sonic Screwdriver. As far as materializing in different spots, I really have no idea how to do that :/ Not a bad idea..
  12. With all due respect, there isn't really a better way to do it, especially with how the game is laid out and the naming conventions. Hopefully the code I posted proves useful in the future so we can avoid issues like this. On the other hand, before TSLPatcher, you would have had to install it manually, which I guarantee would up your click count by about 10x
  13. [module202.ifo] //The name of a GFF in the tslpatchdata directory you're using as a base !SourceFile=module.ifo //I think this is the name of the source file in the mod/rim you're grabbing !SaveAs=module.ifo //Saving it as this filename !Destination=Modules\202TEL.mod //In this mod/rim The only I guess... detail being that you'd have to rename your GFF files so they don't conflict with other file names in the tslpatchdata directory.
  14. I'd have to double-check, but I'm pretty sure that's still possible.
  15. The problem with most KOTOR 3 mods is that they're all mainly ideas and concepts and hardly any content or structure to back up these ideas.

... Or a basic outline for an eventual TC...

...I can help with that... Anyone need a plothole filled, I'm your guy. Just ask LDR!

Well, assuming we were to lay out a plan on the basis of cobbling together existing assets along with other mod materials, I would imagine tht would be very necessary. :)

  16. If I recall, there might be a way to pull it off, although it's not documented. I did it once for a mod that modifies the same file in all of the rim files in the game. This information came from the creator of the TSLPatcher.
  17. Hmmm, off the bat, the 2GBs of RAM is not a great start... So does the main game ever load?
  18. Oh, anyone willing to model any of the Doctors as a playable character? Clearly 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th or possibly 10 or 11 would be the easiest since they don't have curly or long-ish hair.
  19. Ha, or we could just have it materialize in whatever module. Oh, I also made this awhile back... It's a little shiny because it was originally supposed to be a lightsaber.
  20. You are correct. Infinitely spacious according to some of the newer episodes. I was going to model it around the Ebon Hawk's main room. Saves me the trouble of doing the walkmeshes over and I can retain the camera collision information. It's there. The shader I'm using in 3dsMax as a placeholder changes the glare on the window. It happened to be black at this particular angle. Thanks for sharing! I can't say my modeling skills would have fared any better around that time either. I'm still kind of surprised that my model turned out this well, although the tricks I learned to sculpt that box I picked up from Quanon's video and I think disbeliever and TriggerGod for baking shadows into the texture. Heh... so I'm a new Who fan... don't uh.. hate me But seriously, what I had in mind was more along the lines of the 11th (and I'm assuming 12th's) TARDIS in that it has more of that "spaceship" kind of feel to it. (Plus it's shiny) It has several aspects alluding to the original console room, although it does not have the "round things" in it, which I will obviously add. I figure modeling something similar to the original rooms with the sort of polish and theme of this would be the way to go.
  21. Well, It's going to probably going to be more of an amalgamation of the different versions. This one has the St. John's Ambulance sticker on it but it's colored more like the 10ths. A potential interior may take several components of all of the Tardis designs.
