    This mod is a modder's ressource, it does not introduce any item into the game, there is not item sheet related to the models, there is no custom skin for the models. Description and content This mod packs 71 mask model variants, merging the vanilla visors from the game as best as possible. Every models bear the vanilla textures and should not conflict with any items in game. There is no icons provided. Every models are referenced in a specific folder and inside the folder is a .Jpg that you can open to display the model. I packed every vanilla textures for the masks as an additional folder. How to use this Here is my video tutorial about modeling, very basic but it might help you out : Basic model merging and editing tutorial - You can make them a brand new items in game, modifying the model variation and adding a custom icon. - You can make customized skins with the provided textures, by modifying the texture names related to the models using Blender or other softwares. - You can use them, either to make them placeables, or add them to npc models using Blender or other softwares. - Anything that comes to your mind if you have the abilities ! Feel free to use anything from this mod, this is extracted from the base game and this is my own edits. Just credit me somewhere. Disclaimers - I tried to make sure every geometry pieces from every masks had unique names, so they shouldnt conflict with anything and between each other at 95%. However, this is a lot of visors and i might have forgotten some, so it might be useful to double check before using one with Blender. - My modeling abilities are limited, so be forgiving about the models i pulled out. I tried my best so they look as fine as possible in game, but there might be some clipping or other visual artifacts i may have missed. - I do not know how animations and animation roots work, so there might be something wrong here even though everything display fine in game still.     Created by: Sith Holocron (and others listed in the credits section) Game: Knights of the Old Republic 1 Version 1.0 Uploaded: 20 MAY 2024 The Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon’s Revenge Textural Reinterpretation mod was designed to upscale and/or enhance the textures seen in the mod. It is an extensive mod pack (as might be indicated by the size) but as seen listed below, it is not a complete overhaul. Just a note: I have included upscales of the loading screen. However, if someone wants to take at recreating the loading screen in color, I thoroughly support that effort. I say “load screen” rather than “load screens” as the same loading screen is used for all of the BOS:SR areas. On N_DarthRevan01 (TGA and TXI): The mod doesn’t appear to add anything notable to this skin and the game already has this one available. Though I upscaled the texture, you may safely discard it if you covet another texture instead. If folks do want to change the texture of the traditional Darth Revan, there are so many fine reskins available. In addition, I suggest researching the Flowing Robes mod when researching alternate textures. What’s not included and why: All textures with the header m80, m81, or m82. As upscaling these textures will not improve their quality, I have not done so. You should leave these textures in the Override as-is. fx_Smoke02.tga: Upscaling this texture will not improve the quality. Leave this texture in the Override as-is. Skybox textures (trs_Bsky01.tga, trs_bsky01.txi, trs_sky0001, trs_sky0002, trs_sky0003, trs_sky0004, trs_sky0005, wst_sky0001, wst_sky0002, wst_sky0003, wst_sky0004, wst_sky0005, zzz_sky0001, zzz_sky0002, zzz_sky0003, zzz_sky0004, zzz_sky0005): I highly recommend using Kexikus’ mod instead of using the skyboxes included with the Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon’s Revenge mod. (https://deadlystream.com/files/file/723-high-quality-skyboxes-ii/) However, if you insist on using the original skyboxes, you’ll be able to find them in the folder named “Original BOS Skyboxes.” From what I have seen in game, both the original skybox textures and my upscaled versions of them are NOT compatible with Kexikus’ skybox mod for BOSSR. If you encounter issues, you have been forewarned. Shadow’s textures I have not made upscales for the character and clothing textures for “Shadow”. I highly recommend using Dark Hope’s mod instead. All added portrait textures: I have not made upscales for any of the added portrait textures for the portraits added with BOS:SR. I highly recommend using ndix UR’s portrait mod instead. Installation: The “twilek_m02d.tga” texture has been both upscaled and converted to be compatible with Ashton Scorpius’ mod “K1 Better Male Twilek Heads” and requires its use to work properly. Make sure that mod is downloaded and installed according to its installation directions before installing mine. Allow my textures to override the files there. There are 3 TPC files in my mod: aaa_bla01.tpc, fff_lobla01.tpc, and ooo_lobla01.tpc. Make sure to delete the TGA and TXI files of the same name in the Override folder. I won’t be providing an uninstall guide as the shear number of files that’ll be replaced defies an easy way to explain it.     A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 17.06.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! Simply click on this mod's INSTALL.exe, click install, sit back, and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Description: In the Kotor games, certain alien NPCs can wear the same robes and armor the player can (such as the Twi'leks and the Devaronians) whilst other aliens can't (such as Trandoshans and Rodians). The reason why this is is because of the way these aliens are setup, for example, the Twi'lek is made up of two models: the head and the body, whilst the Rodian is one single model containing both the head and the body. The Duros NPCs are one of the aliens that use 1 model for the entire NPC instead of two, this prevents the Duros from visibly wearing any armor that's equipped on the Duros NPC. Whilst most players won't really notice the single model alien NPCs who can't wear armor, what they might notice is how the Duros on Dantooine who are aligned with the Mandalorian faction there aren't wearing the iconic Mandalorian armor. One could argue that the Duros themselves aren't Mandalorians as they're only ever referred to as "allies" of the Mandalorians, but one longer has to argue, as this mod is here to change everything! In 2015, JCarter426 released his Head Modder's Resource for K2 on MediaFire which took many one model aliens and separated the heads from their bodies. This allowed one model NPCs like Rodians to wear Jedi Robes when previously they couldn't. This was not a mod; however, it was a resource for other modders to pick out assets they wanted to use in their own mods. In the past 8 years, the only thing that has come from the Modder's Resource was the Duros Jedi cameo in the Full Jedi Council mod by Kexikus and Duros Mandalorians in the Smash City Studios fan film "Star Wars KOTOR: Episode 1: A Familiar Path". The idea of Mandalorian Duros has been a dream ever since I first saw the "A Familiar Path" fan film, and today we get to live that dream! The Duros who accompany the Mandalorians on Dantooine and the Duros who work as Miners on Tatooine shall wear Mandalorian armor and Czerka uniform instead of the Duros outfit we all know and love. Originally, I wanted to have two totally different separate mods that edited the Mandalorian Duros and the Duros Miners on Tatooine separately... but to ensure the cleanest installation process I've decided to release this mod, "Duros: Armed and Ready!", before those two mods so that if players don't like those two secret mods then players can simply opt for this simplier mod instead! Those two secret mods shall require "Duros: Armed and Ready!" for the Duros aspect of those mods to work properly, but until those mods are released players do not have to worry about this. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there are feel free to report it to me on Deadlystream. It is possible that Duros modified in this mod shall perform 'idle' animations that clip through the Duros head (such as when an NPC brushes their hair, the Duros who perform this animation will brush right through their face). This bug isn't fixable without brute work modding (possibly involving a new unique Duros heavy battle armor and Czerka body model with different animations), though it shouldn't really be noticable as the Mandalorian Duros will turn hostile and attack the player if you approach them... the bug is only noticable if you focus on the Duros Miners. When the Duros Miners on Tatooine speak, their lips will not move. This might either be an oversight on JCarter426's part back when he made the heads or a result of porting the head to K1, this might be fixed in a future update. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Will be incompatible with any mod that changes the Mandalorian Duros on Dantooine or the Duros Miners on Tatooine, though I don't know of any mods that do this. The Duros in this mod use the heavy battle armor and Czerka uniform body model, so any changes to these models will affect the Duros (Again, I don't know of any mods that do this). Duros reskins, Mandalorian Armor reskins and Czerka uniform reskins should be compatible with this mod, though how they look together is up to personal opinion! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. The Duros head models themselves are free for any modder to use!     There are script functions that set the bike's speed/max speed/acceleration, presumably used with the boost pads. You could probably just set some globals for having mods installed and then add a multiplier to the speed/acceleration based on a check of those. Edit: For example, when you hit a boost pad it checks the global for what gear you're in (MIN_RACE_GEAR) and, if you aren't in 5th gear, applies: SWMG_SetPlayerAccelerationPerSecond(SWMG_GetPlayerAccelerationPerSecond() * 1.1); SWMG_SetPlayerSpeed(SWMG_GetPlayerSpeed() * 1.05); Similarly, if you hit an obstacle, it applies: SWMG_SetPlayerSpeed(SWMG_GetPlayerSpeed() * 0.7); For the purposes of mods, you wouldn't want to directly affect the current speed, so you'd likely stick to starting with: SWMG_SetPlayerMinSpeed SWMG_SetPlayerMaxSpeed at the beginning of a race. Additionally you might also want to increase the performance of boost pads and/or reduce the effect of obstacles, depending on the mods installed. Or you could even do the opposite, decrease the effectiveness of boosts and increase the penalty of hitting obstacles, if you wanted certain mods to have drawbacks as well as bonuses. Or some combination thereof (e.g. a "Heavy Plating" mod that reduces max speed and the benefits of boost pads, but lets you plow through obstacles with a minimal reduction in speed).

    I originally made some upscales to some BoS:SR textures for my now-defunct Steam Guide because the low quality textures were especially noticeable when using High Resolution textures for the rest of the game, but those were never meant to be anything other than a quick fix, these on the other hand cover everything that can be reasonably upscaled and you can actually see the work put into it and take it a step further beyond simple upscales. The Skyboxes thankfully aren't included by default (Because of Kexikus' awesome Skybox textures and I can't play either game without them) and the textures for Shadow aren't included at all thanks to the existence of Dark Hope's lovely retexture. Even in 2024, Brotherhood of Shadow is alive and well thanks to the continued efforts of Sith Holocron, Dark Hope, Kexikus, ndix UR, and many others. That said, I think Brotherhood of Shadow is in dire need of new voice actors, dialogue revisions, and overall bug fixes before it can truly be considered in-line with the rest of the game. This upscale pack is is getting us one step further towards that goal. Oh, and there are some video upscales/60fps interpolation of the movies but I have it on good authority those might be remade in the future. Thanks for this and congrats once again on the release.

    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 12.12.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND! (The Tweak Pack is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work. Do NOT install "Fixed Male 01 Clothing" or "K1 Outcast Clothing Fix" from this mod as these fixes are included in THIS mod!) If you want to use it, install the Restored Content for K1CP mod BEFORE this mod. Make sure you install the NPC Diversity Pack mod BEFORE this mod in its entirety for best results! Once you're ready to install the mod, simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe and you'll be faced two options. This mod comes in 2 parts, and since these parts are optional you'll be given two installation options. The "K2 to K1 Clothing Install" shall install the ported K2 clothing component of the pack whilst the "K1EP Clothing Install" shall install the K1EP component of the mod, for more details on these installations please refer to the "Description" section of this readme. Description: In terms of commoner clothing, Obsidian added various new outfits for their NPCs in Kotor 2. The default 'potato sack' outfit was given a stylish facelift, the bloodied Outcast outfit was replaced with the Refugee outfits we see today and on Telos we saw the introduction of a new noble outfit. This mod will port those Kotor 2 clothing textures to Kotor 1... but with a twist! The Kotor 1 Community Patch does the same thing as Obsidian did, it replaced K1's 'potato sack' outfit "N_CommM01" with Kotor 2's default outfit and Gendar's bloodied Outcast outfit "N_CommM07" was replaced with an Refugee outfit. This mod won't do that, instead, K1's 'potato sack' and K2's default clothing shall be two different outfits NPCs can wear. The removal of the clothing replacement is most pronounced in the Outcast village where almost every NPC now wears a Refugee outfit instead of the K1 bloodied Outcast outfit... except for the Outcasts infected with the Rakghoul disease, their clothing shall still use the K1 bloodied Outcast outfit texture. This mod shall also add the K2 noble outfit, but even this outfit has a twist of its own! In K2, the male noble outfit was blue whilst the female noble outfit was purple... in this mod, you will find 2 noble outfits across the galaxy: a blue male and female noble outfit and a purple male and female outfit. In the latest 1.1 update, I've added the new clothing from the K1 Enhancement Pack modder's resource. This will come in the form of an alternative installation which will work great with the previous K2 to K1 Clothing component. In addition to the K1EP clothing, I've added compatibility for the latest update of the Restored Content for K1CP Demo, if you have that mod installed the new clothing added in this mod shall be gloveless as they are in that mod.     Description: Ever since I first saw the blurry mess of a texture in the Kotor 2 prologue, I've dreamt of a way to fix it. This project thus will consist of two stages, this first release is for the Ebon Hawk you see in Kotor 1 with a full visual exterior overhaul. Every panel is completely drawn by hand to ensure the model looks good from every angle with the ultimate goal of using this as the basis for finally fixing the Ebon Hawk during the T3 sequence in Kotor 2. The next step will be the fully battle damaged exterior piece with emphasis on making it finally look decent. I was also informed by a trusted source that the minigame model texture could greatly benefit from this treatment, so that's also in the works. Update 1.1 While working on the Kotor 2 version, I noticed there were a few areas that I could improve on with its Kotor 1 counterpart. The panel work has received a massive overhaul to better match the Vanilla texture including far more detailed colors and a completely redesigned nacelle top. I've also created a much better version of the engine trench (The metallic texture on the sides that denote exposed mechanical details) which I really felt needed the facelift. Lastly, per a great suggestion by ConansHair, I've included some window textures to complement the exteriors with permission from Dark Hope's IGM. This will hopefully be the last big update, but as I continue to work on the Kotor 2 and now the minigame model, I will continue to incorporate any improvements as I make them. Installation: Inside of the zip file are twelve textures for the Ebon Hawk wherever it is landed as well as twelve window textures with TXIs. To install, simply drag these files into your Override folder, or if you don't happen to have one it must be created. (Default Steam Path is C:\\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\SWKOTOR) Uninstallation: Take the textures and TXI files included in the ZIP file out of your Override Permissions: Please let me know if you want to use these textures in one of your mods. I only ask you to credit me for the vast amount of work this ended up being Credits: This would have never seen the light of day without help from my friends on DS.     This is the next part of an ongoing series. The purpose of this mod is to bring the much more up-to-date design choices from SWTOR to Kotor. All textures have been made from scratch. The Overhaul also contains sophisticated Mass Effect 3 orientated high Quality animations. Update 3.0 out now! Safe to upgrade from 1.0 - and for those who downloaded 1.0 i highly recommend to get 3.0 since the difference is huge. This is a huge one - to catch the flair of SWTOR all animations have been redone from scratch again - the floor now contains cubemap based reflections & scratches. Further a new kolto animation & a HQ metalic tech texture have been implemented.     This mod overhauls the appearance and attributes of Rakghoul Fiend; an alpha ghoul found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers which seem was intended to have an unique demeanor with them. # Background # When facing the Rakghouls in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, I noticed that few of the raks named as Rakghoul Fiend but I saw nothing unique about them. Well, thought that they need an unique demeanor with them; hence the fruits of labor then. # About this Mod # This modification makes unique appearance for the Rakghoul Fiends [complete with their own unique sound-sets] found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, and also bump their attributes by an reasonable imbalance amount. Well, I didn't include a vanilla patch - guess you'll have to deal with them, luls. One aspects of uniqueness from them is they had their body upscaled for ~+20% with different looks compared to the generic ones. Few elements of this v1.0 skin; like the red eye - was inspired from Trex's "The Jedi Masters" Rakghoul, nuff-said - credits to Trex for make it happened. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod; put these files to the 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted. Also, by keeping the installog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where. Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - only make sure to install this mod after every mods has.     This small Overhaul covers the standard saber colors in the game. Unlike the other big LS Overhauls it focuses not on hilt textures but on the blades itself. Ive retextured them in very closely to the SWTOR look and animated them with 64 pics. Ingame you dont realize the animation actively, but they feel very "fluid" indeed. Compatibility: Should be compatible with the major LS overhauls. Since these focus mainly on the hilts, i recommend to install them first, then my mod and override if necessary. Install: Unlike my other files no XnView needed, just drag & drop the into your Kotor\Override folder.
