Improves the AI of KotOR 1. Changes: - Companions and most other NPCs use blaster feats (except droids their animations are buggy) - Enemy forceusers now use Force Breach and Lightsaber Throw (previously the AI ignored these force powers completely) - Enemy forceusers now use force buffs more often (Force Speed, Force Armor ect...) - NPCs with the Force Jump feat actually do force jumps if they are further than 10m from the target - Enemys reactivate shields after 200s - Some minor bug fixes - Jedi Support AI reworked - NPCs use Master Rapid Shot or Master Flurry if available instead of the default attack - NPCs use the highest level of feats and force powers available to them - The AI now uses feats granted by items - Once the player reaches a high enough level, the Jedi Support AI no longer uses low level force buffs, because they became obsolete - Companions now heal every team member properly not just the one controlled by the player (injury check fix) - Compatibility Patch for Repeating blaster attacks restoration 2.0 by R2-X2

Galaxy of Faces [K1] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.2.0 Release Date: 27.09.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! This mod replaces the appearances of important named NPCs throughout the game. As such, if you wish to use mods like Onderon Fashion and Smuggler's Deluxe you'll have to install those mods BEFORE this mod. Simply click on the INSTALL.exe, select "Galaxy of Faces [Main]", click install then sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The "Effix's Duelists", "Unique Rodians" & "Build a Bendak" are OPTIONAL. You don't have to install them if you don't want to. Effix's Duelists includes Effix's unique Gerlon, Ice & Marl heads. This installation is NOT a total copy of Effix's original Taris Arena Changes mod, that mod adds UTC files to the Override and patches those whilst Galaxy of Faces patches the UTCs in the .MOD files provided from the K1CP mod. If you are using the NPC Diversity Pack, install Effix's Duelists via Galaxy of Faces. If you want the Armors from Effix's Taris Arena Changes, install that mod instead. Unique Rodians gives various Rodian NPCs unique appearances. If you are using Stormie97's High Quality Alien: Rodians, do NOT install this option as a compatibiity patch for that mod hasn't been developed yet. Build a Bendak adds a unique appearance for Bendak Starkiller, however, the "N_Bendak.tga" texture is the vanilla Field Marshal texture. After installing this option, I encourage the player to replace this texture with a Mandalorian texture from a mod of your choosing, I personally recommend RedRob41's Bendak Starkiller Emblem Armour though do feel free to select a skin YOU want instead! Simply delete the "N_Bendak.tga" texture in your Override folder, rename your desired texture to either "N_Bendak.tga" or "N_Bendak.tgc" and place it in your Override. Description: From the good old days of late 70s/early 80s cinema, the expansive comics and novels of the 90s and 2000s, the rise of modern Star Wars video games and well into the Disney era, the Star Wars Galaxy has always been a "Galaxy of Faces". And I'm not just referring to the faces of the main characters. I'm referring to background characters such as the aliens of Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Episode 4 (many of whom were merely random alien costumes who have since evolved into staples of Star Wars alienography with timeless classics like Rodians, Aqualish and Devaronians amongst them), or the the Bounty Hunters hired by Darth Vader to track down the Millennium Falcon in Episode 5 (despite only having 4 lines of dialogue and just over 6 minutes of screen time, Boba Fett has since become just as popular as the main characters mostly down to his unique bad ass appearance in his limited screen time) or the background Jedi characters sprinkled throughout the prequel trilogy (despite never saying a word in the movies, the Jedi Plo-Koon, Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura have since become fan favorites)! Why do I say this? I think it goes without saying that unique appearances are what makes or breaks a character, and BioWare's 2003 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG has a few problems with this. As with many video games from this period of gaming, KoTOR has a problem with NPC appearances. In Kotor, the generic background NPCs are referred to as "Commoners" both in the game files and in-game sometimes, the game has 24 generic NPC appearances including 2 white heads, 2 black heads and 2 asian heads for both adult and old appearances which are split between male and female types with an additional male and female white and asian "Tatooine" commoner variant that exists for some reason, bringing the total of commoner appearances up to 24. Throughout KoTOR, many of these generic appearances aren't even used for background NPCs, those background NPCs receive the low-resolution Lite appearances leaving the actual generic heads for named NPCs. NPCs like Holdan, Jon, Junix Nard, Matton Daisel, Firith Me and Kel Algwinn are all well written characters that really bring these environments to life... but sometimes these NPCs are forgettable simply due to the fact that they use the same appearances, the NPCs I named were strategically chosen as they both use the exact same 1st white and asian male commoner heads. This "clone" problem is intensified once you install NPC Overhaul style mods that remove the Lite appearances and replace them with generic commoner appearances as now you'll be seeing the same 24 heads across over a hundred NPCs throughout the game. This mod aims to fix that by giving many of these named NPCs unique heads to differentiate them from the generic heads. This mod aims to one day cover almost EVERY single named NPC in the game where possible through a combination of NPC appearances made by me, modder's resources and mods with the modder's permission. But do keep in mind, not ALL the modded unique heads will be added. Instead, if you consult the "Recommended Mods.txt" file you shall find a list of other mods that I personally recommend that shall also add new unique heads for NPCs that aren't part of this mod. Thus far, most of the unique heads of the K1 Enhancement Pack modder's resource have been added. To read about what appearances have been added thus far, please consult the "List.txt" file for a complete list of new appearances. Known Bugs: If there are bugs feel free to report them to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Incompatible with any mods that modify the appearances of Nico Senvi, Nemo, Matton Dasol, Kono Nolan, Jon, Jagi, Eli Gand, Dorak Quinn, Dak Vesser, Hidden Bek Lookout, Ahlan Matale, Shen Matale, Nurik Sandral, Rahasia Sandral, Gerlon, Ice, Marl, Twitch, Mika Dorin, Gluupor, Adum Larp, Bendak Starkiller, Lena, Apartment Duros, Sith Base Duros, Maana Demknot, Strandes Duros on Lehon, or The One. Incompatible with High Quality Aliens: Rodians, though a patch may be made in the future! Please report any incompatibilities! NPC Diversity Pack [K1] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.8.0 Beta Release Date: 04.04.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND (This mod is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work)! Once you click on the HoloPatcher.exe, you'll be given a few install options. 1) Main mod: Installs the actual mod (edits over 600 NPCs so this may take a few minutes to install). 2) Player Head Commoners: This install will add new commoner NPCs who use the player heads. This option will greatly diversify the Kotor galaxy as there are so many player head commoners it's unlikely you'll see them twice in one playthrough, and it greatly reduces the already existing generic commoner heads. If a player head commoner uses the player's head, it will be swapped for another head (So if you're playing Mullet Man then the Mullet Man who appears in-game will use a different head). You WILL have to install this option AFTER the main mod. Description: As with many modders, I have a vision for a comprehensive NPC Overhaul. This mod is currently in a BETA stage, whilst I don't expect bugs, I do expect player criticism/feedback alongside reports of possible mod conflicts with certain mods... updates will be released to fix any possible bugs, add popular player suggestions, possible hotfixes for incompatible mods and new content as they become possible. What does this mod do? This mod is comprised of several smaller mods that have been merged into one big mod, resulting in an immersive NPC Overhaul which is compatible with the K1 Community Patch. This mod swaps the heads of hundreds of NPCs to prevent the 'clone' effect, it replaces the low poly Lite NPCs with actual NPC appearances, it diversifies the clothing, armor and weapons worn by NPCs without touching any of the NPC Loot drops, it modifies the .GIT files in some areas to remove duplicated NPCs, it swaps the soundsets of over 200 NPCs so that the enemies you fight have a truly random "death grunt" sound as they die and MORE! With this mod, over 600 NPCs will be affected (including NPCs which are commonly affected by other mods). It is HIGHLY advised to install this mod (AFTER the K1CP mod) BEFORE you install any new appearance mods. For example, Galaxy of Faces is a mod which adds new appearances. Installing the NPC-DP BEFORE that mod will allow you to have GoF appearances alongside the NPC-DP's NPC Overhaul. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there are feel free to report it to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Player head commoners are affected by player head reskins, if you install weird player head reskins (The Mullet Man to DC Universe Joker for example) then the player head commoner with Mullet Man's head will use that skin. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: ebmar: For his attempt at fixing a problem with the TSLPatcher pre-0.4.1! JCarter426/DarthParametric: For pointing out major flaws with the old TSLPatcher setups. SpaceAlex: For fixing the old clothing bug in his K1 Enhancement Project for which his fix was carried over to this mod! Cortisol/th3w1zard1: For the HoloPatcher! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! Bioware: For such an amazing game! Everyone who downloads the mod! Gives Bastila a unique Force power based on the Battle Meditation power from TSL. *NOTE: This mod will only work properly on saves from before Bastila has joined your party.* DETAILS This mod essentially ports the "Improved Battle Meditation" Force power from KOTOR II and gives it to Bastila as a starting power instead of Force Aura. Like in TSL, the power adds +2 to attack rolls, damage, and will saves for all party members and -2 for enemies within a 10m radius for 20 seconds at a cost of 35 FP. It also increases vitality regeneration for the duration. The power is not selectable at level-up by the PC or party members and is only added as one of Bastille’s starting powers. The VFX and Force power icon are ported from TSL. In KOTOR II, Improved Battle Meditation is a level 12 power while this mod gives it to Bastila at level 3, so it's possible there's an effect on balance in the early game. I don't think it's too OP of a power but let me know if you have feedback. INSTALLATION To install, run TSLPatcher.exe. This is required. Don't try to copy the files over manually. NOTE: If you install on a save from after Bastila has already joined your party, she won't have the power and won’t be able to select it on level-up. You can use save editor to give her the power. If any files are modified, a backup folder of unmodified files will be created inside the mod folder. UNINSTALLATION To uninstall, remove spells.2da, visualeffects.2da, effecticon.2da, p_bastila.utc, fp_bmed.ncs, v_bmedit2_imp.mdl, v_bmedit2_imp.mdx, v_bmedit2r_imp.mdl , v_bmedit2r_imp.mdx, and ip_battlemed02.tga from the override folder. Replace unk_m44ac.mod in the modules folder with the version in the backup folder. Replace dialog.tlk in the main game folder with the version in the backup folder. Then move any remaining files in the backup folder to override. COMPATIBILITY Should be compatible with most other mods as long as they use TSLPatcher or you install this mod afterward. Could potentially conflict with other mods that edit Bastila's starting Force powers. PERMISSIONS Please don’t reupload without my permission. CREDITS offthegridmorty djh269 - endgame Bastila support, icon upscale & other tweaks - thanks! KOTOR Tool - Fred Tetra TSLPatcher, TalkEd - stoffe, Fair Strides This mod contains assets from SW: KOTOR II TSL

Ah, a mistake on my part. The shadow flags were enabled, but the files were ancient and apparently the model classification wasn't set to Character, which caused the shadows not to render. I've changed that and re-exported them. Tested in-game and shadows work as intended now. Attachments don't seem to be working for me at the moment, so you'll have to grab it from here.

Oh, good eye! Yeah, I think that sounds like a really good solution to restore the sublevel and alternate way to disable the turrets while also keeping the Twi'lek coward. Completely forgot the line about the lieutenants, so moving a couple enemies around sounds like a great solution that wouldn't too drastically alter the difficulty/design of the Vulkar base. I'm 100% behind this!

This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR I. The main improvements are the addition of ears and slimming down on the Bib Fortuna necks. Other tweaks include better smoothing groups, fixed teeth and eyelids, and recolored tongues. The ears were created using modified assets ported from SWTOR. There's two options for installation. Option A uses the slim necks, while Option B retains the original necks. I highly recommend the first option as it fixes clipping with collars on heavy armor and it's the main choice for other mods which use my files. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod's a nice visual improvement that adds a much-needed element of consistency with other humanoid head models in the game. The KOTOR II can be found here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, run Installer.exe, select the option you want, and proceed with the installation. To uninstall this mod, run the installer again, select the same option, and click Tools -> Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod isn't compatible with any retextures of male Twi'lek heads unless that mod states otherwise. This mod has built-in compatibility with the K1 Community Patch and is also compatible with the K1 NPC Overhaul Mod. Either should be installed prior to installing this mod. I've given permission for this mod to be included in a few other projects. Be sure to check the descriptions of those mods to see if you need to install this first. Version 1.2.4

Based on this request thread, this mod replaces the Jedi captive placeables used in the final confrontation with Darth Malak aboard the Star Forge. In the vanilla version of the game, these are all identical copies of the same male body using the PMHC04 (“Mullet Man”) head. New male and female versions of this placeable have been made, utilising a variety of heads from all three human races, and Twi’leks. All eight captives in the level are now unique and distinct from one another. Additionally, the flavour pop-up text for when you interact with the captives has been altered to change the male pronouns into neutral ones, so they work regardless of the subject’s gender. For those that wish it, an optional extra is included that adds these new Jedi as background NPCs to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine (N.B. as of v1.1, the pictured sparring circle has been removed due to the placeables.2da row limit bug described below). Known Issues: WARNING: A critical issue has been discovered with K1's placeables.2da, limiting the number of additional new entires that can be added to around 20 rows. This mod adds 8 rows. If you use multiple mods that add new rows to placeables.2da, you will likely encounter issues. DO NOT REINSTALL THIS MOD OVER A PREVIOUS VERSION! You will create the placeable overflow issue. In order for the Dantooine portion of the optional extra to take effect, you must use a save prior to leaving Taris. The courtyard portion will only take effect for saves prior to being allowed to exit the Academy. These additions are purely cosmetic, so their absence will have no material affect on the primary purpose of the mod. The core content of the mod will only work with a save prior to entering the final room on the Star Forge, but I assume (hope) most people aren't still installing mods that late in proceedings. Compatibility: The mod is compatible with K1CP. Make sure you install K1CP first. The core content of the mod should be compatible with most other mods, as the changes are restricted to the second-last module in the game (STA_M45AD). The optional content makes changes to the Dantooine Enclave's landing pad (DANM13) and courtyard (DANM14AA) modules. If you are using any mod that overwrites those modules (like Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod), make sure you install that mod first. This mod will patch its changes into pre-existing module files, so should be installed last. Changes in 1.2.1 should mean the Twi'lek master in the optional Dantooine content is now impervious to further hostile robe takeover attempts. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the TSL robes. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the hybrid robes. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @Kexikus for providing code for the NPC OnHeartbeat scripts. Thanks to @jc2 for the suggestion on how to fix the sparring circle combatant health bars. Thanks to @JCarter426 for suggesting the NotReorienting creature flag and for the TSL ported robe assets. Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit. Thanks to @ndix UR for MDLOps v1.0+ and TGA2TPC. Thanks to @StellarExile for pointing out the issue with VFX targeting the base of the model. I must be blind... Thanks to @todevuch for testing the hybrid robes compatibility patch. Thanks to @olegkuz1997 for pointing out that the placeables didn't use TLK StrRefs for their labels. Thanks to @Alice Reyneke for pointing out that pathfinding for the placeables was broken by a previous update.

When the Sith capture your party on the Leviathan, they are a little too thorough about confiscating your gear. In addition to taking your weapons, armor, and credits, they also take your clothes. This mod makes it so that the player and the party will wear their clothes during the interrogation and breakout sequences. There are two basic installation options: Option A: Basic Clothes - Everyone wears their basic starting clothes. Option B: Robes - The player will be allowed to keep the robes they were wearing immediately prior to capture (except for the Qel-Droma Robes). If the player was not wearing robes, the basic brown Jedi robes will be worn instead. If those are unavailable for some reason, the player will wear their basic clothes like Option A. The rest of the party will still wear their basic clothes regardless. If you are using "All Hands on Deck for the Leviathan Prison Break" by DarthParametric, I have also provided separate, compatible installation options. =Carth Onasi and Male PC Romance= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION AUTHOR: Leilukin FILE NAME: Carth Onasi and Male PC Romance.7z LATEST VERSION: 1.1 CONTACT: E-mail toleilukin@outlook.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1. DESCRIPTION: In the vanilla game of the first Knights of the Old Republic game, Carth Onasi’s romance subplot is only available to a female player character. This mod allows male PCs to romance Carth by modifying the gender checks in Carth’s romance. The male version of Carth’s romance subplot still requires the player to talk to Carth frequently and progress his personal quest line to complete successfully. In addition, the player can still end Carth’s romance by choosing certain dialogue options. This mod was inspired by forgetcanon’s Bi Carth mod. However, my mod has different ways of executing the concept of a Carth and male PC romance mod, including but not limited to: Installing this mod by patching the relevant dialogue files to improve compatibility with other content mods as much as possible. Editing Carth’s dialogue and splicing audio files to ensure that Carth will not refer to a male PC as a woman. Adding an alternate installation option to make Carth’s romance available for male PCs only, while Carth will interact with a female PC the same way with a male PC in vanilla. This option is for players who want to avoid any romantic interactions with Carth when playing a female PC entirely, without needing to choose specific dialogue options to shut down the romance. For the best experience with this mod, it's recommended to have a completely new KotOR 1 playthrough. Please note that this mod is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE ENGLISH LOCALIZATION OF KOTOR. I do not provide support for non-English localizations of KotOR. 2. INSTALLATION: Download the mod and extract Carth Onasi and Male PC Romance.7z archive to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KotOR directory. Run Install.exe. You will notice that this mod provides four installation options. You may only choose ONE of these options: Version A: Carth Romance for Both Male and Female PCs — This option will make Carth’s romance available to both male and female player characters. This version also adds a [Not Interested] dialogue option to allow players to turn off Carth’s romance early on. Version B: Carth Romance for Male PCs ONLY — This option will make Carth’s romance available to male player characters ONLY. In this version, Carth will not flirt with a female player character, and female PCs cannot romance Carth. Version A + KOTOR 1 Community Patch Compatible — Choose this option if you have KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) installed and you want to use Version A of my mod. Version B + KOTOR 1 Community Patch Compatible — Choose this option if you have KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) installed and you want to use Version B of my mod. Once you have chosen the installation option you want, and select your KotOR game folder as your KotOR directory path, click the “Install” button and let the installer do its job. This mod also provides compatibility patches for the following mods: Carth Romance Fix by cjt0202 KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R) If you want to use any of the above mod alongside this mod, go to the "Compatibility Patches" folder, and follow the instructions written on the Read Me files contained in the subfolders. When you install this mod, two new folders named "backup" and “uninstall” will be created by the installer in the same folder as the installer. Do not delete the folders or any of the files within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod. The "Source" folder includes the source of the scripts used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 3. UNINSTALLATION: Open Install.exe and select your KotOR directory where you installed this mod. From the “Tools” dropdown menu, select “Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup”, then confirm to uninstall the mod. You can also choose to delete the backup after uninstalling the mod. 4. KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any other bugs or problems, please let me know. 5. MOD COMPATIBILITY: Any other mods that modify any of the following dialogue files will likely conflict with this mod: k_hcar_dialog.dlg — Carth’s global dialogue lev40_saul403.dlg — Saul Karath’s interrogation scene on the Leviathan ebo_carth.dlg — Dialogue of the party members on the Ebon Hawk immediately after Leviathan unk41_carth.dlg — The game has two different modules that use dialogue files that share this name: one for the party conversation on the Ebon Hawk after crashing on the Unknown World; the other for Carth’s dialogue on the Unknown World beach after confronting Bastila on the temple summit. This mod affects the latter. k_sta_carth.dlg — Carth’s dialogue on the Star Forge after defeating Malak I have set up the installer to install this mod by patching the relevant dialogue files to increase compatibility with other content mods as much as possible, but it is still not guaranteed to be compatible with every other mods that modify the same dialogue files, especially if the other mod is installed into the Override folder. If you use any of the below mods, I have provided compatibility patches, as noted in the "INSTALLATION" section above: Carth Romance Fix by cjt0202 KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R) If you are using KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP), you must install K1CP first, then choose one of the KOTOR 1 Community Patch Compatible option when you install my mod. This mod is compatible with JC's Romance Enhancement: Dark Sacrifice for K1. This mod is compatible with JC's Romance Enhancement: Pan-Galactic Flirting for K1. This mod has a conflict with JC's Romance Enhancement: Biromantic Bastila for K1, specifically regarding Saul’s interrogation scene. Whichever mod installed later will override the changes made by the other mod. Biromantic Bastila compares how far you have progressed Bastila and Carth’s personal and romance quest lines to decide who will get tortured by Saul. Meanwhile, in Version A of my mod, Saul will torture Carth only if Carth’s romance is active, while in Version B of my mod, Saul will torture Carth as long as the PC is male, or Bastila as long as the PC is female.
