3 pointsI am sort of back around as a friend has put me up, though access to my PC will be irregular until I have some money to put towards the electricity where I am staying, I also have a lot of other things to focus on like trying to find work and a place to live of my own, but luckily I am in a better position now than I was a few weeks ago. Having now set up multiple GitHub projects and a NexusMods account as well as pages for both mods I have essentially resumed work on the project for both games, but I will be focusing on the K2 Expanded Galaxy starting with the Yavin Orbital Station Swoop Demo that will consist of 4-5 Modules. [ . yav_m50aa, . tat_m17mg, . man_m26mg, . tar_m03mg, . 510ond++ . ] I am not sure those module designations are correct, but Taris, Manaan and Tatooines Swoop Track as well as the Yavin Orbital Station, hopefully to include the Upgradeable Swoop Bike Mod by bead-v and potentially an updated version of the Onderon Swoop Track that will allow access to the Onderon Swoop Track using the Modified Bike via the Yavin Orbital Station Merchant / Swoop Bike Mechanic. I think the option to not use the modified swoop bike should remain also, via dialogue it could be enabled or disabled, IE : "I would like to use the Modified Swoop Bike now" or "I am going to practice with the Regular Swoop Bike for a bit" this would also allow for an original playthrough even if the player decides to purchase or try the modified swoop bike as well as visit Yavin. The Expanded Galaxy Project is aimed at becoming a community project, an overall renovation of both original KotOR games for all platforms as well as compatibility for as many mods as possible, I also hope to include items, maps, stories and content from mods galaxy-wide given I can attain the relevant authors permissions, this should allow for both games to become heavily fleshed out. There is also plans to totally port K1 to K2, which would require an installer that would verify both games installations, this would be somewhat necessary to make the K1 Expanded Galaxy Project ( or K2 modules in K1 ) more relevant and worthwhile, giving the first game access to the second games engine, which would allow for more placeables, better cut-scenes and overall game-play. Along-side my project I am still writing a tutorial series that will cover everything I learn about KotOR 1/2 Modding ( primarily K2 ) that will be somewhat aimed at helping people make a Total Conversion for Obsidian's version of the Odyssey Engine, set in the Old Republic / Star Wars Universe or otherwise. I hope this inspires people to make more KotOR games ( following other characters in the old republic universe, perhaps even their own characters from, before or after SWTOR ) there is also the potential for non-sw related total conversions, point & click type story adventures and much more using the Odyssey Engine's Unique Features and innovate game-play mechanics.

3 pointsI need to keep myself awake tonight so I slapped this together. Or if it's a more upscale joint. I guess the Tarisian Ale isn't in stock anymore for some reason...

2 pointsAfter a flurry of activity, I'm done for now. My next projects will be up when my contributors hand over the requested files to me. Yes, NONE of the recent uploads were what I was hinting at previously.

When you first meet HK-47 in KotOR II: TSL, he’s basically junk until you put him back together. I’ve always wanted this evolution from a piece of junk to a high quality assassin droid to be visible on HK-47, so that’s where this mod comes from. With this mod, the HK-47 you find in your cargo hold looks like the piece of junk he is but over time you replace his parts with new ones and he returns to his old self we know from the first game. This is not a purely cosmetical change however. I restored HK’s upgrades from KotOR 1 and each time you repair/upgrade him, he’ll look better and get a stat bonus. The requirements to unlock these upgrades increase with each successful upgrade: For the first one you need to be level 6, have a repair skill of 8 and at least 41 influence with HK-47; for the last one you need level 15, 17 repair and 51 influence. Optionally you can also install HD reskins for HK-50 and HK-51. All of the new textures are based on Quanon’s excellent HK-47 reskin for KotOR 1. See a video demonstration of this mod here: Installation: Run TSLPatcher.exe and choose the version you want to install. Then simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. When asked to select the folder where TSL is installed, choose the folder that includes swkotor2.exe or if you have TSLRCM from the Steam Workshop, choose its folder. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod. For modders: I included the source scripts in the download in case you're interested. Ignore them if you only want to install and play the mod. Uninstallation: Take all the files from this mod’s tslpatchdata folder and delete those from your Override folder (except for the .nss and .mp3 files). Also delete hk_repair.ncs from your Override and the .mp3 files from streamvoice/GBL/HK47. Then copy all files from the backup folder created during the installation of this mod into your Override. Compabilitiy: This mod is NOT compatible with ANY mods that alter HK-47’s appearance in any way. The HK-50/HK-51 reskin option is also not compatible with mods that alter the appearance of HK-50 and HK-51 either. Most other mods however should be compatible. Changelog: 1.0 Initial release Credits: Mod by Kexikus HK-47 texture by Quanon (modified by Kexikus) TSL Patcher by stoffe THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS OR OBSIDIAN. AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 JAN 2019 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.] Description: By request, now your (female) character in KotOR1 can sound like the female Trooper from SWTOR. How can you resist having the voice of Bastila Shan, Satele Shan, and the only Commander Shepard worth talking about voicing your character? male sound sets. Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios. You'll have to let me know in the review section below. (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.) Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if you wish to put them in your review. This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1. Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me. Installation: ----------------- You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods. This time you have new steps to follow. 1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them. (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!) Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder. 2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder. Note: If you're using the mod on Steam this quote may prove helpful. “I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through Steam and reinstalling the mod though!” So . . . uh . . keep that in mind. Uninstall: -------------- Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder. Legal Disclaimer: ------------------------- All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless notified in writing of permission granted by me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested and approved by me in writing before your use. BTW: -------------- If you can't recall what the Trooper sounds like, you could just watch this video. (Custom scroll created by @JCarter426) -

This mod replaces K1's vanilla static swoop monitor with TSL ported swoop monitor with added animations on its screen. # Background # Lately I have been attempting few porting stuffs between TSL to K1 and then wondered "can PLC_xx be ported?" and the answer is here. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are: One TSL ported swoop monitor model: plc_swscreen MDL/MDX One TSL ported swoop monitor texture in TPC format: TSL_SwpMntr One custom made 11 frames-animated swoop screen in TPC format: AnmtdSwpScrn # Final Remarks # This attempt were much inspired by Sith Holocron's "Swoop Monitors Replacement Pack" as without the said mod, it wouldn't go anywhere than just a mere idea. I learned a lot from his texture and TXI's setup so- lots of credits pretty much addressed to SH and his work! Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: Copy-Paste all the included files to the 'Override' folder. Overwrite when prompted. Uninstallation: Remove the said files from the 'Override' folder. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the kind intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, don't forget to give credits to BioWare, Obsidian Entertainment, and LucasArts as inside this mode are their base assets. Anyways, credit to me is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: Fred Tetra for the 'amazing' KotOR Tool Chuck Chargin Jr./ndix UR for MDLOps bead-v for MDLedit ndix UR for tga2tpc Elwood288 for without his porting discussion I'd have no idea of what I'm doing Sith Holocron for his awesome tons-of-frames' "Swoop Monitors Replacement Pack" which have been the guidance on setting-up the animation et all DeadlyStream for updating the porting policy DarthParametric, Dark Hope, VarsityPuppet, redrob41, Sithspecter, DeadMan, JCarter426, Kexikus and Salk for being inspirational BioWare, Obsidian Entertainment and LucasArts for K1 and TSL All streamers on DeadlyStream All modders either active or inactive DeadlyStream for a place to hangout and to discuss -eb -

1 pointOh I have not changed the Supermodel at all (lots of stuff is still way above my paygrade). What I meant is that I changed the cutscene so that it is no longer using the no loop computer animation but rather the Player does. Cheers!

1 pointOkay, I have replaced the overused Twi'lek alien character with a non used Chandra-Fan in Anchorhead (where incidentally you do meet another Twi'lek that is introduced with a similar cutscene for the Genoharadan mission) for one unique encounter and at this link there is the result, if anyone is curious. (VO imported from TSL, dialogue tweaked to fix inconsistencies and accommodate the lack of proper animation for the Chandra-Fan model).

1 pointGreat work so far! I love the custom maps, if they are easy to make and implement we will get loads of awesome new mods!

1 pointThat's not the case for dialog.tlk. The difference is that the "original" 2DA files are not kept in Override. They're archived elsewhere (global.rim for K1 and 2da.bif for K2) so it's generally safe to modify them and if you delete any from Override, you won't be deleting the original. The game has a load priority so it loads from Override before looking through the other archives for 2DA files. But dialog.tlk is only ever installed directly to the main directory (SWKotOR or SWKotOR2) and this is indeed the original and only copy of the file, unless you make a backup.
