3 pointsThey certainly got the attention they wanted, along with the exact attention they didn't want. I think everyone can agree that it was a bad move to try to go viral with this thing. I think it was probably their intention to build up a fan base, but obviously it got the attention of the big dogs too. Some people are out there to get their ego stroked. Was this the case? Maybe so, but they did come up with quite a few decent looking levels. I agree, I know the swoop racing was nowhere near a finished state, but it was one of the livelier features that they showcased. It was one of the few things that I legitimately thought was a huge improvement over KotOR. Anyone with half a brain can see that it's a new game. You can interpret that as you will in regards to YouTube comments.

2 pointsDidn't you hear, I'm a VERY talented person and give LucasFilm ultimatums, cause of my awesomeness. They should totally hire people like us, but first of all us... obviously. Still had 1 fix lying here, and one thing I had to look into, so guess I'll need to do a run soon, and then maybe we got 1.5.1.5.

2 pointsBut then who would stroke their ego? Who could they laugh at when their HOT GIRLFRIENDS got Sexy Sex with them? Remember that? I 'member. And people even still believed in TSLRP after that, somehow. Some people are just asses, withholding stuff just cause they are too loaded of themselves. Yes, I'm still mad at you Dashus for willingly misleading people for years, hoarding all the work and rather have it burn down with you rather than release it and have to have your ego take a hit when others finish it instead. Pretty sure the swoop racing was pretty much stock-stuff. It didn't even feature any swoop-racing elements like shifting, speedpads. That wasn't swoop racing. " It was a thinly veiled as a "mod", when almost anyone can recognize that it's a brand new game. " I see you haven't ventured YouTube comment sections talking about this mod. Apparently, it's a VERY difficult concept to grasp. And when I say very difficult, I mean VERY. DIFFICULT.

1 pointI've seen a few users on here mention how they've successfully ported modules from TSL into K1 (or vice versa), would it be possible for someone to port the Enclave Sublevel (610DAN) into K1? Specifically, I'm hoping to use to library section in my machinima. There are alternatives I could use, of course, such as green screen and compositing characters into it but I feel this would be a much for practical approach. Thanks in advance!

1 pointHello everyone, I'vee been fiddling with gmax and kotor these days and would like to show you some stuff I've been working on. The idea is to release one or more mods with outfits variants for some companions or secondary characters. I´ve made a version of Mission without her vest, one of Jolee with a hood and an open jacket carth version (Inspired in Kotor Comics and mod by Kha that was never released). Here you can see some pics: There is still some clipping issues to solve with the Jolee hooded model, and I'm having problems exporting the Carth model with the new applied texture , apparently due to a conflict between the "skin" and "unwrap uwv" modifiers. I´m trying to find the error because in the other models I did'nt have the same problem. In any case I tried to export it without the texture to the game and seems to be functional (Here there is an Ingame image). Well, hope someone is interested, on it, I usually have very little free time so I don't expect to finish soon, but anyways I still work on it and hope to finish some day. Opinions, advices or recommendations are welcome since I don't have much experience and still go through trial and error method. Thanks!

1 pointAh, so it may be an artifact specific to only one of the textures. My guess is that the error has to do with the proximity of the ^ symbol: But I don't see anything obvious wrong with any of the textures.

1 pointNo, it's in the trim section along the top of the walls. You can see in most cases that the trim's square blocks align with the blocks in the lower part of the walls, like this: But in some places, notably around bends, the trim blocks stretch wider, like this: I could try and mess around with the horizontal scaling to bring it back to 1:1, but it's probably not worth the effort.

1 pointThis is a really cool mod, you've definitely covered many of the issues people had with previous versions of the planet. With that said, I've had a somewhat buggy experience with the M4-78 Chamber. One more potentially game breaking bug is that if you talk to Kaah about giving him a power core than decide to leave the conversation after presented the option that allows you to take his core, you won't get a second chance to get it from him. The new ending is really cool too and the dialogue splicing is much better. I don't think it was necessary for M4-78's ending to bring up those lines from Visas and Kreia about I'm really questioning how some of the modules were split as portions of the industrial zone often felt unnecessarily small and the FPS wasn't really improved in the same parts from last time. Those are my only critiques, the team definitely improved everything else and now M4-78 is a solid 9.5/10 in my book. Several of these bugs may also be exclusive only to me since I installed this newer version with M4-78 1.3 already installed. I had to make some tweaks to make everything compatible myself and I'm pretty sure all I'm getting now from the mod is the same experience I would've had in a clean runthrough of the mod.

1 pointIf they were smart, they wouldn't have pursued a massive social and fan following until they had completed this and released it to the public. Once it's out there, it's out there, and there's nothing that LucasFilm or Disney can do about that. But they did their best to shine a light on the very thing they didn't want exposed. I initially was not excited about the direction this was taking, but over time I begrudgingly began to respect their efforts. There were parts of the game that were looking quite good, especially the swoop racing. However, the better it got, the worse the chance that Disney was going to shut it down, and they did. It was thinly veiled as a "mod", when almost anyone can recognize that it's a brand new game. The one thing that I really don't appreciate is him trying to categorize it just like a simple mod here. The last thing we need is LucasFilm/Disney poking around here, harmless as we may be.

1 pointI'm starting to have no respect to those guys at Poem looking by this letter; especially when they start comparing their project with others. Like, where's your pride dude? and to them, everything went downfall from here the way I see it. Good thing that Lucasfilm did not responded, and they should not. It's their right to do so.

1 pointPersonally, i was never very exited this project, mostly for two reasons. Visually it didn't really evoke KOTOR so much. I mean, aside from some character models and placebles. And second, it was way too ambitious to ever be realized. I think that annoyed me most, because of all that talent wasted. Just updating the original games models and textures would have been way more productive and feasible, but no we have to basically make a whole new game from scratch. Still, its always sad to see passion projects (for any beloved series) die and its so weird that some people are almost happy that it failed. The anger towards Disney and EA i totally get. After so many years, they have almost nothing good to show for themselves. Lots of people's hopes for the franchise are none-existent. Stuff, like this, is just p***ing on the ashes.

0 pointsWhat's new? * Changes to the ending * New intro (less spliced party members lines) * Reduced amount of walking * Fast travel in droid quest - no more running trough the planet multiple times * You can now do Environmental Zone first and gain Kaak's help, allowing you to skip a large part of the Industrial Zone * Better filters on VOs so your ears won't bleed (at least not as much) * Industrial Zone FPS drop fixed * Other stuff Available for download on deadlystream: Steam version probably coming soon.

0 pointsPotentially lost all of my files for an old WIP mod, so may have to restart it from scratch.
