    I need to contact Aspyr about how to fix the Audio-Skip bug, since I've partially solved it on my system...

      What I did, was use the old squizzy exe without running the patcher. It brings the game back from the 1.0b update without deleting the content provided by it. Sure some skips do occur, but once I restart it, it runs fine without any skips at all.
