    With the Dark Brotherhood, I think more could be made of Vicente Valtieri as a vampire that's on your side. It could've been very interesting, but instead it just wasn't. And have you heard of Project Eternity? That's the Obsidian team making an old-school RPG with $4 million in Kickstarter donations.

    Haven't had time to create my character, but will in a few days - I'll be on Red Eclipse, most likely under the name Darutin Orvika (one of my more widely-used identities when I need to be recognised, but not as Mandalore).

    This will, I'm sure, prove very useful. And while Oblivion is very, very good, I must say that the best of the modern ones is (in my opinion) Morrowind. IV and V have been excellent, but the plots were a bit too much like "only you can kill these people so go and kill them". Morrowind had a far more interesting storyline.

    Update on my TOR decision - I'm going to start out as Bounty Hunter (Mercenary), and I don't know where to go from there. Jedi Sentinel, Smuggler (not sure about advanced class), Jedi Shadow, Imperial Agent (either) or Sith Assassin?

    Thinking of what Class to pick when I start TOR: currently thinking Smuggler (either Advanced), Jedi Knight (Sentinel), Consular (Shadow), Bounty Hunter (Mercenary), Imperial Agent (either), or Inquisitor (Assassin). What do people think?

      Answer: My main is a Trooper Vanguard (Assault tree) and I'm loving it. So far the best I've experienced.

      i have a trooper vanguard too. i think that one is an exact parallel to the bh powertech. assault tree is actually shared, so a commando can use that too.

    I'll agree that Obama is certainly not "good", and is merely the least worst option, and he's done several things I don't agree with - but he came in at a time where whatever he did couldn't be enough, and there would always be a criticism to it.

    OK, I've done what I wanted to the MPTLs and the Keldabe Dreadnoughts - how would I go about stopping Mandalorians from making the first move against Boba Fett 9but if he attacks them, they fight back)?

      Eh.. Anyway, I think you could get an idea of how to script events and player allegiance AI from some of the various story-driven mods out for download. Still, I think the story is also in an xml, but I'm not sure 100%.

    Anyone know where to start learning to mod Empire at War? I want to reduce the damage of MPTLs (because they're ridiculous) and stop Mandalorians from attacking Boba Fett.

      From my experience, you have to edit the xml files to do changes to unit stats.

      I looked through it, but missed one of the threads - I've now weakened MPTLs and strengthened Keldabe Dreadnoughts (the game calls them normal battleships, but they're dreadnoughts - trust me, I've commanded enough).

      I prefer orbital bomabardment. It may not be subtle and lacks the personal touch but it certainly gets the job done.

      If you want to make you enemies scared, that is one of the best ways. The main ones I use are either blast them from space or simply go down there and conquer them almost instantly - Thrawn's methods are truly brilliant in that case. Of course, Thrawnite tactics are applicable anywhere - thought there subtlety confused some when I introduced it to the other tacticians, who were used to stuff like what happened at Serroco and Malachor.

    Just realised how similar the voice of one of my teachers is to Kreia's. It's surprising.
