      TBH I watched the whole thing with a friend and we never laughed so hard in our lives. As long as you view the movie as some bad movie comedy, it's funny as shit

    Very sprightly discussion here! The TIE fighter seating two caught my eye as well. They must have expanded the cockpit space to increase its rear defenses. Or they did it to get both Finn and Poe off the ship.....

    Speaking of that Jedi mind trick scene, apparently the man behind the helmet was Daniel Craig. HH: Maybe the X-Wings were using proton torpedoes? Perhaps in 30 years, they made modifications to the fighters to allow them to be more versatile? Possible explanations.

    His absence (presence) in the movie is felt all the way through. I think they should have left it at that. Introduce him in VIII.

    Someone on this forum called it that Han would die. I had a feeling he would as well watching the movie. Agreed with the above points about the over-usage of OT elements. Have to appease a fan base that worried about Disney taking over and Mickey Mousing the whole thing. I felt the ending was too rushed. They didn't need to reveal Luke until VIII, I think. No need to show the climbing the mountain sequence so quickly. Was that Coruscant they destroyed? The city planet?

    I like the idea of a dedicated thread to be set up later in the week to discuss the movie. The title of the thread should clearly indicate "Beware of Spoilers" or something along those lines. One should only enter the thread if he/she has seen the film.
