Yeah, I meant KOTOR Tool, not KSE of course. My bad. Been away from using KOTOR modding tools for too long.

Been neglecting this site for a while it seems. Hi!

HH, I think N-DReW25 was pointing out that he's had beta testing available for you to read in the beta thread for about a month that hasn't been commented on by either you or Zbyl. Hopefully, I'm not misspeaking.

What TSLRP sought to Restore
Hassat Hunter replied to N-DReW25's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
I don't think that's it, or I was much more impressionable back in the day since that has the same AniCam roughness to it our own M4 cams have. -
Change the AlienVO entry, done. There's a list of VO files in one 2DA, think it's called AlienVO aswell.

Not a bug

There have been fixes yeah. There have been fixes everywhere (IIRC it's level 15 for both lessons).

The global dialogues however can be found in KSE under the dialogs.bif section. You probably want to use TSLRCM versions as base rather than those though. Same for the module dialoges, taking them from the .mods to get all the fixes. Though depending on which files you change, some might make TSLRCM a requirement too then.

Fair Strides' Script Shack
Hassat Hunter replied to Fair Strides's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
It has a bunch of requirements. You should probably check Visas' entry on the Ravager (with 1.8.5) to see them, it alters a bunch of stuff if failing to prevent the scene from looking really stupid, so whatever you do, it runs proper. Took a bit of tweaking to make both look good, but I'm confident it was successful and paid of that work. -
By the look of it, that awkward can easily be prevented if the scene lasts as long as the VO, instead of a set duration.

TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
I use the UberArmband extensively for M4-78EP and TSLRCM's fixes (swapping it around with Whereami if I need co-ordinates). So, thanks for that. And if I knew you were looking for it, I got it right here 0_o -

TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
They altered the intro. And the sparring gamebreaker is how you lose access to your teammates after sparring and losing in a certain manner, making them unable to EVER talk to you again or follow you, breaking the entire game in the process since all 3 of them are pretty important. -
Just remember due to Obsidian's way to make the PC appear any main menu's after that don't render, just return Sion. Reason why the easter egg menu was broken in Vanilla (and could fortunately be fixed by using the excess unused slot before it). There's not enough screens to use all planets, unless you find a way for all planets to work on a single main menu entry.

Never heard there even being a modified launcher for the Collection, isn't it like Steam, launcher-less?

4th bomb site on the Ravager won't trigger

Considering the ton of issues you keep running into with your ton of mods, ever thought about not installing a ton of mods? -
What TSLRP sought to Restore
Hassat Hunter replied to N-DReW25's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
And then you realise stuff like this; http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/396-coruscant-scene-no-overlay/ or the tweakpack. Heck, I even modified a few of it's issues it had in base TSLRCM since I definitely agreed (mine on Ravager for example). Dunno what TSLRCM Icon fix is, but seeing the comment following it it's overwriting out logo with the vanilla logo, basically overwriting the overwrite? While you could, you know, just remove our .tga from override? -
TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Well, all I could find is; http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/51542-tsl-restoration-project-the-phantom-deadline-read-first-post-before-posting/page-14 Tried running the link to Dashus post in the waybackmachine, but it wasn't saved. I did find this quote of the post on RPGCodex: https://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/kotor-2-the-restoration-project.23167/page-64#post-888847 "The project will be finished because I personally have left too many incomplete over the course of my lifetime." EDIT: And I kinda forgot the whole "release summer 2008" (in 2009) was prefaced with a "2 weeks!" hype... It was worse than I initially remembered. -
TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Probably nothing. RPGCodex even made a seperate topic for it I found; http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/this-totally-deserves-its-own-thread.33010/ Well, it's obviously pharaphrased since it's from a 10 year old no longer available newspost, but yes, he literally said that. And still failed to deliver. Yeah, haven't heard about 90SK before now either, all we got was the public drama. -
"The Exchange has a bounty on Jedi..." Makes sense, not all cut Atton dialogue would be voiced, like the Nar Shaddaa line, the Dxun arrival line. Those just needed lipsync if that wasn't in place already either (think the Nar Shaddaa might not even have it but since it's a long-distance flyby it's hardly noticable or useful)

What TSLRP sought to Restore
Hassat Hunter replied to N-DReW25's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
No I wouldn't but apparently you think very lowly of me. Did a quick check and you're right, we moved it to an usable state, just need to use KSE to set yourself the flag. -
You would be correct. Probably also some other fewer sections where lipsync wasn't quite up to snuff. But I really really REALLY don't want to look up through a ton of them to find the best matching, sorry.

TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Probably got 1.0b10 then. It's been a while, need to find that harddisk to tell. Atleast it was leagues up from eartorture 1.0b8's version was. -
TSLRP: Not Quite A Post-Mortem
Hassat Hunter replied to InSidious's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
So, read the whole deal, good stuff. I actually HAVE TSLRP 1.0b11, and all the TSLRP uncompiled scripts. They're just on an external harddrive... somewhere, after moving, and that HD didn't work that great anymore last few times around. Maybe I should look for it and try and see if it's not dead, and move it away to save it. The Kaevee was absolutely terrible in the leak, but when using 1.0b11 for a footage to compare the TSLRP and TSLRCM version to shut up people who said TSLRP's was infinitely better, I was pleasently suprised my ears didn't bleed out that time. The vid is still up if you're interested; Anyway, a few keyparts you forgot to mention. * You mention Dashus didn't mind the leak. This however was NOT my experience, as shortly after doing so he uploaded an "update" for the game that basically broke it down entirely. Had to re-install the entire game and TSLRP due to it (thanks Dashus). Which doesn't sound like something someone who "doesn't care" would do. Actual testers got affected too since those gamebreakers started popping up in the official Bug Tracker. * You say the blame felt on 90SK, but according to posts by the RPGCodex it was all due to Darth Windu (who stayed on the team), who exchanged his TSLRP code in promise of getting laid. Of course the validity of this claim got never proven, but if it was a hoax they did type up a pretty giant detailed chatlog. One Windu claimed was partially true, but faked out in the end. Anyway, that was the drama seen on the outside. * Crap hit the fan WAY before Dashus' "screw you guys, I'm getting laid" when a new trailer was released for TSLRP. Why would a trailer cause commotion? Because it was the "release trailer" and in the end it had a release date 1 year EARLIER than the video was released at. This... fell really REALLY bad with everyone, especially after outcries of "what the hell is this?" got completely ignored or sarcastically dismissed (don't recall specifically). That was really the point where the TSLRP "team" shown the world that this was leading nowhere, Dashus "but I failed everything I ever did, I will succeed at something for once!" was just the final nail in the coffin. That it was a thinly veiled "I'm getting laid, you probably not, SUCKAHS" after withholding TSLRP, refusing to release it even when giving up and all that BS definitely made us all remember him as a giant douchebag. Thanks for DeNCS, but really... that's the legacy left behind, that's what people will remember. -
What TSLRP sought to Restore
Hassat Hunter replied to N-DReW25's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
Nah, that introduction is choppy as hell. I tried to smoothen it out a bit, and lengthened it for 1.1 or 1.2 (don't recall) so it better matched up with the music and you didn't have this bombastic beat overshadowing the VO. That's because TSLRCM's and M4-78EP's camera's are done with AniCam, and while it can extrapolate paths for smoother movement, I never really found it much use. Fairly sure TSLRP uses (used?) a different system that extrapolated a camera path from an excel sheet that was MUCH smoother than AniCam can produce for us.
