  1. Presumably you mean the galaxy map on the Ebon Hawk. How does the Exile get to the Ebon Hawk if it has fallen into the chasm? Have a new BIK planned to show it's triumphant return?

  14. I'm curious what folks favorite mods for KotOR2 are - ones that aren't strictly restorations. I was hoping folks could post their own top ten lists. (Ten choice might be tough to come up with but try to have at least 3.) First name the mod, tell us all why you like it, and if there's an active link for it - hand that off to us too! (We might want to play with it too, ya know.) Upcoming, non-released mods for KotOR2 qualify for your lists as well. Bonus points if you can tell us if these mods are compatible with TSLRCM! To kick this off, I'll list some myself in no particular order. All of my choices will be mods that haven't been released yet. I don't include total conversion myself as I'm just personally concerned with using the original game with the characters we all know. (Don't feel you have exclude that sort of thing from your list though!) 1) The GenoHaradan by Exile007 - unreleased yet, so no download site is listed. It is supposed to be completely compatible with TSLRCM when it is finished though. Though there's some content that's on the discs being used here, it's being utilized in a new way to make it fit. I'm intrigued on how it'll all come together. 2) Malachor VI mod by Varsity Puppet and Bead-V - unreleased yet, so also no download site. It is supposed to be completely compatible with TSLRCM when finished though. Fixing pacing problems and filling in the blanks of what happened to the Exile's crew seem to be a winning combination. Unfortunately, this mod may never see completion due to Varsity Puppet's retirement from modding. 3) Rhen Var by Darth Insidious - This is a work in progress. Compatibility with TSLRCM 1.8 is a possibility but not is certainly not guaranteed. A new planet to explore sounds great to me! 4) Ravager Rewrite by Zbyl2 - The current version of this mod isn't compatible with TSLRCM 1.8 but a new version might be on the way with added features. Restored stuff programmer's notes, and restructuring how Mandalore and Visas are on the Ravager is an interesting way to go. 5) Admiralty Mod by Kreia (AKA Jinger) = Unfortunately no longer compatible with TSLRCM. Admiral Carth Onasi gets a uniform and looks more official in the process. I liked the cover! 6) M4-78 Enhancement Project by Zbyl2 and Darth Stoney - This mod too is a work in progress. It will be compatible with TSLRCM 1.8. I think being a VO person in it might make me a bit biased! LOL 7) Korriban Expansion by Newbiemodder - As M4-78 was removed from the original TSL, Korriban seems to have be given short shrift as a planet - when compared to the others, at least. This mod promises to tackle that balance. TSLRCM compatibility is possible but not guaranteed at this time. I might add a couple or adjust the list in the future but I'll hold to this list for the present. Now, let's hear what you have to say!

You're right on the two handed part but as it says on the review for that video: Though the pre-rendered video is cited as improved from the original, you're going to have better resolution seeing this scene rendered by the in game engine. This isn't to knock the work of Jinger (AKA Kreia.) It'll just be nice to have two different choices. As I've mentioned before, having the option to turn toggle the music and subtitles on or off is a draw for me.
  16. Would people like such a thing included if it could be made from scratch? They obviously couldn't use the coding from TSLRP, as that would be wrong. I think it might be fun seeing a cut-scene of them using those unarmed animations.

  18. I've heard they'd like to get in touch with Ulic to include his fixes. If that happened, the issue of the faulty HK-50 that the Exile and party encounter would work properly. (A fix Ulic has doesn't play well with that self destructing HK-50.)
  19. That's a video and not in-game cut scene. It also has a model of a one handed Kreia, by the way. I'd rather have what Zybl would provide - a cut scene that's rendered by the game engine and with the option to turn on or off both the music and the subtitles.
  20. I'd get Ӄhrizby to fix the two-handed Kreia model then. I'd imagine that shouldn't be that difficult for him. Then that fix can be included in the TSLRCM.
