  1. Yes, that's my favorite walkthrough! Here's the link: Scorchy's TSL Walkthrough
  2. A) Any luck with adding a neck bone to the Bith model? Which other creatures do you plan to work on? C) What's left on the list?
  3. If you have good scripters on your team, I suggest someone should assist Disbeliever with his Sleheyron project. If folks are going to restore items, I would think you'd want that project to be as compatible with your stuff as much as possible. Speaking of compatibility, How compatible will your final project with these mods? a) Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge by Silveredge9 - and it's update patch, of course. Recruitable Kay by Inyri Forge (along with it's various patches, as well.)
  4. Thanks for testing this out for the guys. Expanding the game beyond it's original recognized OS is always a nice thing. Could you let us know if you make it through the entire game without a hiccup?
  5. There are a few schools of thought on what line up you might want to go with for what area. I recommend checking out some of the nice walk-throughs and strategy guides that have been created through the years Strategy Guides at Game Banshee TSL Walkthrough at Game Banshee Aeon's KotOR2 FAQ Gamespot TSL Strategy Guide Just realize that the HK-Factory and Kaevee won't be covered in these pages as they aren't in the "Vanilla" (AKA "unmodded") game.
  6. Snard, you'll probably have greater luck on finding out about the GenoHaradan Revisioning if you PM Lord of Hunger. When you read the thread, you'll note he hasn't responded on requests for info.

  7. I'm having someone try to repair the French version of the opening game scroll (ttlan's item 1.) Staticjoe66, I counter your question to ttlan with this one: If you're not going to assist with possible corrections, why are you standing in the way?
  8. Looks like like they let you in . . .
  9. I guess that I just wanted to point out that such things as direct KOTOR ports to JKA do exist but I wasn't going to help anyone find them per se. So yeah, I think I'm in the clear. At this time, I just want to point out that the things I have linked to are newly modeled items and are not ports. Gaminglord28, each of the maps listed above have separate links. It's not available all in one pack. Reviews of any of the maps are welcomed.
  10. Let's hope the glitches get worked out and KotORFiles continues to improve. I like having several options where I can download lots of great mods.
  11. I've forgotten which splices these were as it's been so long ago. (LOL) Could you PM me what the lines when you have the chance, Stoney? Speaking of splices . . . Hassat Hunter, could you re-email me the list of the next set of splices of the characters we were talking about? Please compile the list into one email and send them to my M478 account. I should get started on those - for work that will hopefully be implemented down the line.
  12. He's probably referring to the line right under number 18.
  13. What about the Extra levels on the Shadowlands? http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Enhanced_Restoration_of_the_Shadowlands;86553 Why not check out all of the previously released restoration mods and see if those folks would be willing to contribute their items to your project? http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic/Mods/Restored_Content;9831
  14. I'm sure the only reason he used the Xbox version was the use of the free camera mode that was left in for the Xbox version of KotOR. No such thing (at least built in) is available for the TSL version for the Xbox.
  15. As I just got home, I'm just going to nitpick one of ttlan's thing and I'll slowly work my way through in the next few days . . . Point 23. The four bugs in the three cinematic files TelMov01.bik TelMov02.bik and TelMov03.bik You point out the following on the other end of the link that I snipped. . . The problem - for anyone wanting to recreate the Ebon Hawk landing in the correct hangar - is the following . . . Do the textures highlighted in green exist in the game? If not, they would have to be remade from scratch. I did request something along these lines at LucasForums - for that (and other textures) - but I can't link to that request right now because LF is experiencing issues. Stoney mentioned to me in an e-mail that's he's having lots of fun creating space scenes and the like so perhaps he might even be convinced to sredo this. (That's a big maybe.) Feel free to PM him with your request - after you find that texture.
  16. I think the (possible) issue here is the lies between the concept of "Restorations" and an "Added value" fixes. Of course, the actual values of the “Value Added” fixes are debatable. Add in the endlessly discussed short turn-around time to complete the game and then we're at we are now. TTlan is a perfectionist. He may even be anal-retentive. Am I really any different though? According to my wife, I'm downright obesseive. Granted, I don't necessarily see eye to eye on all of his suggestions but I like enough of them to hope he'll continue making them. I've been known to push my ideas from time to time a bit forcefully too. (Just ask Stoney. LOL) I will be going over all of ttlan's suggestions in this thread once I am home and have (1) all of the interviews with the game developers I've collected to refer to in front of me and (2) I'll also need a better screen capture and art work program to deal with a couple of his statements. BTW, were any of ttlan's previous suggestions implemented (or going to be) in 1.8? If so, might I suggest his name be added to the thank you list? TTlan, by the way, I might be able to hook you up with someone that might be able to correct the - wait for the bad Star Wars pun, people - grievous spelling errors in the opening cinematic. Before I do, could you PM me what the French opening scroll should have written? Make sure to include any French only characters that would need to be included. Screenshots of all the visible mistakes would also be helpful. (I'll PM you an e-mail address once you PM me the errors.) It would be nice to correct that (French) scroll and have it available here at Deadly Stream as a download. If the guy I'm thinking of is available, it should be doable. He has the fonts and the program/s to make it look right, I'd think.
  17. Do not send any e-mail to my work account until further notice.

  18. It's not compatible with TSLRCM. To quote Zybl2 . . . It would be a shame to go over territory that others have already confirmed since 23OCT2010.
  19. Who would've thought of it? Me - someone who has never played Jedi Academy has posted a relevant topic in the new Jedi Academy section. http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/893-kotor-and-tsl-jedi-academy-maps/

  20. Like Jedi Academy but you want a little KOTOR goodness mixed in there? Perhaps you want to play on KOTOR map. Perhaps you're one of those folks making a KOTOR (or TSL) related Machinima Movie. I've decided to post all of the Jedi Academy maps I've encountered over at Jedi Academy Files and elsewhere in one handy thread so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. If I've missed any maps, feel free to post and I'll update the main list. 1. Manaan Map (I'd change the Falcon to the Ebon Hawk for obvious reasons.) 2. Taris Upper City South (Alpha Version) Hopefully, the map-maker will be releasing an updated version soon. 3. The Jedi Academy on Dantooine 4. Corel's KOTOR Skin Pack Includes Darth Bandon . . . 5. KOTOR Map Objects Add some fun KOTOR objects to any of the above maps . . . 6. I think we're all familiar with this one . . . Star Forge Observation Deck (Version 1.1) 7. Leviathan Bridge (with a Bonus Skybox) - now available! 8. Ravager (Darth Nihilus' ship) from TSL 9. Currently a work in progress: Davik's Estate on Taris (WIP) 10. Tatooine with (FULLY ENTERABLE) Ebon Hawk!: Mos Kreetle 11. Nar Shaddaa Streets Pack 12. Leviathan Escape (WIP) - When completed, this map will contain the following areas on Leviathan: a) The area where Malak meets the Carth, Bastila and your PC for this first time The hangar that the Ebon Hawk is in c) The prison. Other areas may be included as well. 13a. Taris Landing - The map consists of a total of 2 small and 2 big platforms. An empty landing platform and another one with a CCT Spaceship on top of it, and a smaller platform and a sensor node. All platforms are surrounded by the city of Taris, including tall buildings with glowing lights and ships, where you can hop on/off, flying through them. 13b. Taris Landing 2.0 - An updated version of 13a (description of changes to follow when available) 14. Horizons of Taris - The Upper City of Taris at sunset, inspired by both the concepts for Taris as well as the game itself. There's also a Orbital Bombardment mode as well - so you can see the city under attack! 15. Amock Hangar T-31 - A rainy themed Taris map. The mod maker - RunAmock - felt that the best angle for the contest would be to do something original instead of the expected sunset type mood that Taris is known for. The map also includes a sister ship to the Ebon Hawk, which he has named the "Ivory Eagle". 16. Duel Taris - A duel map based on Taris. It was built from a mixture of ingame screenshots and some concept art images. 17. Kashyyyk (in Daytime!) 18. Darth Revan Model by Almighty Gir - Brand new, highly detailed model of Darth Revan. NOT a port from KOTOR! There was a KOTOR skin pack that had many models and skins lifted directly from KOTOR but it was deleted from JAFILES - as it was a porting issue. A thorough search on the internet may enable you to find it but I can't guanrantee success. Have fun! (Acknowledgement: This post originally was posted on another site in a slightly different format. Since I wrote it however, I give myself full permission to put it here.)
  21. Under which topic are the sections listed? I seem to be having difficulty finding them. (I do see the download section now has Jedi Knight series listed, however.)
  22. New Nar Shaddaa fixes are always nice. That planet was always so buggy . . .
