  1. Replacement Brotherhood of Shadow Legal Screen BIK

This is a small file to replace the legal screen BIK file that comes with the Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon's Revenge mod. This new movie is sized to 1920 by 1080 and is 10 seconds long.
I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. Ever.
I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use. Messages that request permission without providing information on how your alternate version would be different than mine should be considered an instant denial of permission.

  2. Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon’s Revenge Textural Reinterpretation

Created by: Sith Holocron (and others listed in the credits section)
Game: Knights of the Old Republic 1
    Version 1.0 Uploaded: 20 MAY 2024

The Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon’s Revenge Textural Reinterpretation mod was designed to upscale and/or enhance the textures seen in the mod.  It is an extensive mod pack (as might be indicated by the size) but as seen listed below, it is not a complete overhaul.
Just a note:  I have included upscales of the loading screen.  However, if someone wants to take at recreating the loading screen in color, I thoroughly support that effort. I say “load screen” rather than “load screens” as the same loading screen is used for all of the BOS:SR areas.
On N_DarthRevan01 (TGA and TXI): The mod doesn’t appear to add anything notable to this skin and the game already has this one available. Though I upscaled the texture, you may safely discard it if you covet another texture instead. If folks do want to change the texture of the traditional Darth Revan, there are so many fine reskins available. In addition, I suggest researching the Flowing Robes mod when researching alternate textures.
    What’s not included and why:
All textures with the header m80, m81, or m82. As upscaling these textures will not improve their quality, I have not done so. You should leave these textures in the Override as-is.
fx_Smoke02.tga: Upscaling this texture will not improve the quality. Leave this texture in the Override as-is.
Skybox textures (trs_Bsky01.tga, trs_bsky01.txi, trs_sky0001, trs_sky0002, trs_sky0003, trs_sky0004, trs_sky0005, wst_sky0001, wst_sky0002, wst_sky0003, wst_sky0004, wst_sky0005, zzz_sky0001, zzz_sky0002, zzz_sky0003, zzz_sky0004, zzz_sky0005): I highly recommend using Kexikus’ mod instead of using the skyboxes included with the Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon’s Revenge mod. (https://deadlystream.com/files/file/723-high-quality-skyboxes-ii/) However, if you insist on using the original skyboxes, you’ll be able to find them in the folder named “Original BOS Skyboxes.” From what I have seen in game, both the original skybox textures and my upscaled versions of them are NOT compatible with Kexikus’ skybox mod for BOSSR. If you encounter issues, you have been forewarned.
Shadow’s textures I have not made upscales for the character and clothing textures for “Shadow”. I highly recommend using Dark Hope’s mod instead.
All added portrait textures: I have not made upscales for any of the added portrait textures for the portraits added with BOS:SR. I highly recommend using ndix UR’s portrait mod instead.

    Installation:
The “twilek_m02d.tga” texture has been both upscaled and converted to be compatible with Ashton Scorpius’ mod “K1 Better Male Twilek Heads” and requires its use to work properly. Make sure that mod is downloaded and installed according to its installation directions before installing mine. That mod can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1430-k1-better-male-twilek-heads/
After reading the caveats implied in the “What’s not included and Why” section, then add all of the textures you’ll be using into your Override folder. Allow my textures to override the files there. There are 3 TPC files in my mod:  aaa_bla01.tpc, fff_lobla01.tpc, and ooo_lobla01.tpc.  Make sure to delete the TGA and TXI files of the same name in the Override folder.
I won’t be providing an uninstall guide as the shear number of files that’ll be replaced defies an easy way to explain it.
    Thanks / Credits:
I have used a few of the textures from Dark Hope’s “international Global Mod” who has kindly provided blanket permission for their use.  Thanks to Dark Hope for allowing me to do so here.
n_sithcomf01, n_sithcomf02, and n_sithcomf03 in the Optional textures folder is derived from textures from Thor110’s ”Topaz GigaPixel AI Upscales - K1 1.0.0.” Thanks to Thor110 for providing his upscales to the community as a Modder’s Resource. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2160-topaz-gigapixel-ai-upscales-k1/
The “twilek_m02d.tga” texture has been both upscaled and converted to be compatible with Ashton Scorpius’ mod “K1 Better Male Twilek Heads” and requires its use to work properly. That mod can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1430-k1-better-male-twilek-heads/
Thanks to Ashton Scorpius for his permission to use his Twi’lek male head template to fix this texture.
Any issues with this mod – other than the previously stated skybox issue with Kexikus’ BOSSR skybox mod – can be left here on the download page. Please tag me when reporting those errors as that will speed up the timeliness of my reply. Thank you.
    Enjoy the mod.
(This section reserved for when I get around to making an overview video for this mod.)

  3. Citadel Station Signage [Expanded Edition]

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 28 APR 2013
    UPDATED RELEASE: 13 JUL 2024
GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords (Not for use in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1)
    Description:
This mod collection replaces textures around many places in the Telos Citadel Station – in this case, the various signage seen around the station. This expanded version includes more signs than the original version and should be considered the definitive edition.  The older version will still be available in case folks wish to use it with a minimum of fuss.
Back in 2013, one sign in particular seemed very rushed to me – the pink cantina sign with the animated Twi’lek. (File name: TEL_BBrds2.) I’ve redone the sign – using the original colors so everything matches aesthetically to vanilla. Once I started, I knew I had to continue. All textures were doubled in size and had the Aurebesh font reapplied. I thought the resulting appearance was crisper as a result. Feel free to draw your own conclusions. (By the way, all the text on these signs can be translated into English. Consult Google for Aurebesh translation guides.)
As before, there are two versions of this animated “departure board” in this package. One is for the boards as seen in various places around Citadel Station. I’ve noticed them in the following places: the shuttle areas in the Entertainment module, in the departure area in the Dock Module, and in the mainframe room in Czerka. (They may also be elsewhere.)
The other texture –with the same name – was originally meant to be used with M4-78. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to make it work with the M4-78 versions of these screens. However, seeing as I already made the texture anyway, why not offer the “dark side” version of my standard screen to you? I suppose it could be used for the invasion of Citadel Station portions if you wanted to take the time to put it in.
This expanded edition also includes the numerous number signs seen through the Citadel Station. Please check the pictures attached to the description page for examples.
When putting together this package, I also noticed that one of the billboard sign textures (TEL_BBrds4) is essentially the same texture seen in my Animated Cantina Sign for KotOR 1 mod.  As that texture was appreciated in Kotor1, I’ve decided to include it in this package as well. (The texture is renamed appropriately, of course.)
NEW (as of 13 JUL 2024): In the Star Wars universe, there is an alternate set for numerals that appear as dots and dashes.  They appear in some of the Star Wars RPG manuals and also in some (but not all) of the various Aurebesh fonts floating out there.  As it was pretty easy to do, I’ve created an alternate set of textures that replace the numerals that are “Arabic-adjacent.” If you wish to use these, pay close attention to the Installation instructions.
Constructive criticism/Reviews and likes (or LS points if you’re on Deadly Stream and you prefer it) are welcome.

Here's a video so you can see the mod in action in the game:

    Installation:
For standard numeral textures: Extract the TGA files and the TXI file into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder.
For alternate numeral textures: Create a new folder on your desktop. Extract the TGA files and the TXI file into it.  Add all of the textures in the “Dotted Numerals” to your Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder.  Only then should you add the following textures from the package:
    TEL_BBrds.tga, TEL_BBrds2.tga, TEL_BBrds2.txi, TEL_BBrds4.tga, TEL_BBrds4.txi, TEL_HSn3.tga, and TEL_Mon1.tga

    To Uninstall:
Take all of the textures from my package out again.

    Known Bugs:
None known at this time. Seeing as this mod has been around since 2013, you should pretty safe about this one.

  6. KotOR1 Polished Crystal Icons Pack

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 21 AUG 2022
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1

[This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 as intended. Instead, use this mod specifically made for KotOR2 instead.]

    Description:
So . . . this is a part of another mod that I’ve had on my computer/s for some time but I hadn’t gotten around to putting out there to the public. Until now.

This all started out with getting higher resolution icons for crystals in TSL.  There are way more crystals in that game than in KotOR1. However, it seemed logical to narrow the focus of that mod by releasing a pared back version and release it as a KotOR1 stand alone version.  That’s what you have here – a test run for a possible TSL version later on.

I found source pictures of many crystals over the years and took care to try and match the color, crystal type and - when possible - the orientation of the crystal to match what you saw in vanilla.
Yes, I included the Mantle of the Force and the Heart of the Guardian crystals. And yes . . . I included the Krayt Dragon Pearl.

From the pictures you’ve (hopefully) seen on the download page, you’ll notice that some of the crystals appear to be duplicated.  That’s how it is handled in the game and it wasn’t an error on my part.

    Installation:

Drop the TGA files into your Override folder.  If you are using this mod with other mods that include re-texturing of the crystal's icons, install this mod after them.

    Uninstall:

Remove the TGA files from your Override folder.

  7. KotOR2 Polished Crystal Icons Pack

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 18 SEP 2022
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2
[This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 as intended. Please use this version designed for KotOR1 instead.]

    Description:
So . . . this is the second part of another mod that I’ve had on my computer/s for some time but I hadn’t gotten around to putting out there to the public. Until now.
This all started out with getting higher resolution icons for crystals in TSL.  Now that I’ve successfully had a decent trial run with the KOTOR1 Polished Crystals Icon Pack, the KotOR2 version is finally ready.  I found source pictures of many crystals over the years and took care to try and match the color, crystal type and - when possible – even the orientation of the crystal to match what you saw in the vanilla game.
From the pictures you’ve (hopefully) seen on the download page, you’ll notice that some of the crystals appear to be duplicated.  That’s how it is handled in the game and it wasn’t an error on my part.
    Installation:
Before you install this mod, go to the Override folder of your KotOR 2 game directory, and check if there are any files with these filenames in your Override folder:
    iw_SbrCrstl_001 iw_SbrCrstl_002 iw_SbrCrstl_003 iw_SbrCrstl_004 iw_SbrCrstl_005 iw_SbrCrstl_006 iw_SbrCrstl_007 iw_SbrCrstl_008 iw_SbrCrstl_009 iw_SbrCrstl_010 iw_SbrCrstl_011 iw_SbrCrstl_012 iw_SbrCrstl_013 iw_SbrCrstl_014 iw_SbrCrstl_015 iw_SbrCrstl_016 iw_SbrCrstl_017 iw_SbrCrstl_018 iw_SbrCrstl_018a iw_SbrCrstl_020 iw_SbrCrstl_021 iw_SbrCrstl_022 iw_SbrCrstl_023 iw_SbrCrstl_024 iw_SbrCrstl_025 iw_SbrCrstl_026 iw_SbrCrstl_027 iw_SbrCrstl_028 iw_SbrCrstl_029 iw_SbrCrstl_030 iw_SbrCrstl_031 iw_SbrCrstl_031a iw_SbrCrstl_032 iw_SbrCrstl_033 iw_SbrCrstl_034 iw_SbrCrstl_035 iw_SbrCrstl_036 iw_SbrCrstl_037 iw_SbrCrstl_038 iw_SbrCrstl_039 iw_SbrCrstl_040 iw_SbrCrstl_041 iw_SbrCrstl_042 iw_SbrCrstl_043 iw_SbrCrstl_044 iw_SbrCrstl_045 iw_SbrCrstl_046 iw_SbrCrstl_047 iw_SbrCrstl_048 iw_SbrCrstl_049
If there already are any files with these filenames in your Override folder, remove them and place them elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if the files that share the file names are in a different file format (like TPC or DDS) – they’ll need to be removed.  Once that is done, then drop the TGA files of my mod into your Override folder.

    Uninstall:
Remove the above listed TGA files from your Override folder.

  8. KOTOR1 "Canon" Animated Galaxy Map 1.0 [Foreign Language Edition]

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    FIRST RELEASE: 25 JUL 2024
GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I

    Description:
    ------------
This is an alternate version of my "KOTOR1 "Canon" Animated Galaxy Map 1.1" mod.  The difference here are the languages are no longer in English.
You now have the ability to have your Galaxy Map appear in either Polish, French, German, Spanish, or Russian. As before, the planets in the texture
are in the positions as laid out in Kexikus’ Canon Galaxy Map for KotOR 1 version 1.1 (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/479-canon-galaxy-map-for-kotor-1/)
The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk [texture name LEH_scre03] as it appeared in the original unmodded game was originally sized at 128x128.
It is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated with 17 frames of animation.
Note: The LEH_scre03 texture is the Galaxy Map *before* you click on it, that is when you can see the rest of the cockpit.
This mod is not recommended for use in KotOR2, as it refers to places not seen in the game.  But will be a foreign language edition for KotOR2 available soon.

    Installation:
    -------------
Choose the language that bests suits your uses.  Grab the files (both the TGA and the TXI) from that file folder and drop them into the following folder:
    SWKotOR/Override

    Uninstall:
    -------------

    Take them out again.

    Known Bugs:
    -------------

    None known at this time.

So . . . what’s different?  The planets are now in the positions as laid out in Kexikus’ Canon Galaxy Map for KotOR 1 version 1.1 (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/479-canon-galaxy-map-for-kotor-1/)
Note: The LEH_scre03 texture is the Galaxy Map *before* you click on it, that is when you can see the rest of the cockpit.
Not recommended for use in KOTOR2.  (For KotOR2, use this mod instead.)
There are TWO different versions of the Galaxy Map texture that you can use!
    - Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game. This texture uses Tatooine as the spinning planet. It has 12 frames of animation.
    - Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added Ord Mantell to the map.  This texture uses Dantooine as the spinning planet. It has 17 frames of animation.
    Installation:

Choose the version that bests suits your uses.  Grab the files from that file folder and drop them into the following folder:
    SWKotOR/Override

    Uninstallation:

    Take them out again.

  12. Sith Holocron - TSL Animated Galaxy Map Texture in Canon Positions

KOTOR2 (TSL) Animated Galaxy Map Texture in Canon Positions 1.2
    =====================================================================
    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    FIRST RELEASE: 19 FEB 2017
    UPDATED RELEASE: 02 JUN 2020
    CURRENT RELEASE: 25 JUL 2024
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II
    Description:
    ------------
The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. It is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated.
As the texture tile is named the same in both KotOR games, the mod is usable in both games.

So . . . what’s different?  The planets are now in the positions as laid out in Bead-V’s TSL Galaxy Map Fix .
Though this mod is meant for Knights of the Old Republic 1, it can and will work in KotOR2 if the installation instructions below are followed.
Note: The LEH_scre03 texture is the Galaxy Map *before* you click on it, that is when you can see the rest of the cockpit.
This mod is not recommended for use in KotOR2, as it refers to places not seen in the game. A version for KOTOR1 using the “canon” positions for the planets is available here.

There are FOUR different versions of the Galaxy Map texture that you can use!
Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game.
Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added M4-78 to the map.
Version 3: In addition to the original planets, I've added M4-78 and Coruscant to the map.
Version 4: This is the "April Fool's Version" of the Galaxy Map as described in this post. (http://deadlystream....oon/#entry44585) : It includes all original planets, M4-78, Coruscant, and Cathalan.
Unlike the GIF shown on that post, it doesn't have the "Don't Travel" animation as part of the map.
Here's a video that shows the textures in the game.
Thanks to @Mellowtron11 for providing the game save so I could get this video done relatively quickly!

    Installation:
    -------------
Choose the version that bests suits your uses.  Grab both TGA and TXI files from that file folder and drop them into the following folder:

  14. KotOR2 T3-M4 Voice Reversion Module

    Testing a theory . . .
Here's a new KotOR2 mod of mine.  You’ll probably hate it!

[TSL] T3-M4 Voice Reversion Module (version 1.0)

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 28 MAY 2023

FOR WHAT GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

    Description:
    ----------------
T3—M4 will sound a little more like his KotOR1 incarnation with this mod. Not the command/combat barks - just the conversations.

    Installation:

    1) Follow this path in your KotOR2 install and trace the route of the following….
    SWKotOR2 > SteamVoice > AVO

    2) In that AVO folder, find the following folders and move them to your desktop (which will enable you to reinstall the original sounds if you don’t like what’s in this mod): _T3M4AN, _T3M4CMN, _T3M4GRE, _T3M4HAP, _T3M4LAF, _T3M4MOC, _T3M4QUE, _T3M4SA, _T3M4SCA, _T3M4SCR, _T3M4WOU.

    3) Place the folders in my mod package that have the same names in step 2, into the AVO folder

    To Uninstall:

Take the folders that you put in step 2 of the install out again. Return the folders of the same name that you placed on your desktop back into the AVO folder

    Known Bugs:
    None known at this time.
    Special Thanks:
To JCarter426: For pointing out exactly where I could find the original sound files that were replaced with my mod.

  15. KotOR1 T3-M4 Voice Module Upgrade

Here's a new KotOR1 mod of mine.  You’ll probably hate it!

    KotOR1 T3-M4 Voice Module Upgrade

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 28 MAY 2023

FOR WHAT GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1

    Description:

T3—M4 will sound a little more like his KotOR2 incarnation with this mod. Hopefully. This mod doesn’t touch the command/combat barks.  It’s just the files that cover his (it’s?) conversations in dialogues.
Just so you know, the barks are the same between both games.  (The only thing different are the file names!)

    Installation:

    1) Follow this path in your KotOR2 install and trace the route of the following….
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic > streamwaves >

    2) In that streamwaves folder, find the following files and move them to your desktop (which will enable you to reinstall the original sounds if you don’t like what’s in this mod):
    n_gendro_coms1.wav
    n_gendro_coms2.wav
    n_gendro_coms3.wav
    n_gendro_haps1.wav
    n_gendro_ques1.wav
    n_gendro_sads1.wav

    3) Place the following files from my mod into the streamwaves folder:
    n_gendro_coms1.wav
    n_gendro_coms2.wav
    n_gendro_coms3.wav
    n_gendro_haps1.wav
    n_gendro_ques1.wav
    n_gendro_sads1.wav

    4) You might note that there are other files with different names that are also present in my mod folder. These were meant as alternate sounds so users could switch them out if they please.  But the primary reason for being was so they could have been used by modders to add extra voice samples that they could direct to in their dialogues. Oh well. You can ignore these files:
    n_gendro_coms4.wav
    n_gendro_coms5.wav
    n_gendro_haps2.wav
    n_gendro_haps3.wav
    n_gendro_ques2.wav
    n_gendro_ques3.wav
    n_gendro_sads2.wav
    n_gendro_sads3.wav

    To Uninstall:

Take the files that you put in step 2 of the install back out again. Return the files of the same name that you placed on your desktop back into the streamwaves folder.

    Known Bugs:

    None known at this time.
    Special Thanks:
To JCarter426: For pointing out exactly where I could find the original sound files that were replaced with my mod.

  16. Peragus Legal Loading Screen

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron

    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 27 NOV 2022

    UPDATED RELEASE: 02 DEC 2022

FOR WHAT GAME: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

    Description:
Once again, I return to Peragus.

Tonight, I was asking about a different legal screen that is included in the TSL games files but isn’t used.  During that brief exchange, I showed off the legal screen that I use which is based on Trench’s desktop wall paper of the Peragus asteroid field.  You’ve likely seen Trench's take on Peragus' exposed core in one of my other mods.  By popular demand - that is entirely represented by Lewok, apparently - I now release it to the general public.

The version for 16:9 widescreen settings can be found in the “16_9” folder.
The version for 4:3 widescreen settings can be found in the “4_3” folder.

As always, constructive criticism is welcome.

    Installation:

For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 - Extract the TGA file fitting your screen settings into the SWKotOR2/Override folder.

Though I haven’t researched this part personally as I don’t use the Steam version of KotOR2, Effix offers the following information for Steam users:
“If you're playing with the Steam version of "Widescreen UI (Stretch fix)" then you will need to remove or rename its Legal.tga.
Location should be something like: [Path to Steam]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\639641660”

    To Uninstall:

    Take it out again.

    Known Bugs:

    None known at this time.

    Special Thanks:
To Trench: For making that desktop wallpaper, oh so long ago.
To Effix: For leaving the comment about the Steam user suggestion that I ruthlessly copied from.

  17. Upscaled (TSL Specific) Protocol Droids

    Upscaled (TSL Specific) Protocol Droids
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2
Authors: @Dark Hope, @ScrierOne, and Sith Holocron
    Release Date: 27 MAR 2022

    Background:
Let’s make my description short for once.
Dark Hope made a mod with hi-res textures for KotOR1 droids.  ScrierOne noticed that Dark Hope didn’t do a droid texture for TSL (probably because she mainly does work for KotOR1) so he did one of those AI upscales for the Czerka droid texture.  Meanwhile, I was working from Dark Hope’s textures to upscale a texture that apparently was in M4-78 EP that I didn’t recall. Seeing a theme, I decided to combine Dark Hope and ScrierOne’s work into one texture.
I made versions using Dark Hope’s take on eyes and my own version.  See screenshots above to determine your taste.

This mod package doesn’t include Dark Hope’s original takes on Protocol Droids which would also work in TSL.  It is highly recommended that you grab those too.

    Installation:
First, extract 7z file to your desktop.  Do not extract it to your Override folder. (That way lies madness.)
Now with choice comes responsibility. You must choose which version of the textures you wish to use - either the "Original DH Eyes" version or the "Obsidian Version".  (You can always delete the files mentioned and check out the other version.)
Copy and Paste the files from the respective folder to the Override dfolder. You MUST overwrite the files already inside the override folder.
If you don’t have M4-78 EP, I would suggest skipping using the C_prot_781.tga and C_prot_781.txi files. You won’t need them.

    Uninstallation:
Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 override folder. Copy the contents of the Backup folder into your override folder (The Backup folder contains the M4-78EP skybox)

    Known Bugs:
    None.

    Incompatibilities:
Incompatible with anything that edits the texture for the Czerka Droid.  And there aren’t any textures that reskin that M4-78 EP droid as far as I know.

    Permissions:
All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc., I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless by permission of the mod author. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. Use of these files are at your own risk and the authors take no responsibility for any damage caused to your computer by the usage of these files.

I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use.

  18. [K1] SWTOR Male Jedi Consular - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 26 JAN 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]

    Description:
By request, now your (male) character in KotOR1 can sound like the male Jedi Consular from SWTOR.  OK, actually no one requested this one but it was the first SWTOR class I used and I haven’t put up many male sound sets.
Hopefully, I've found suitable lines for the PC various scenarios.  You'll have to let me know in the review section below.  (Details are better than just leaving stars, you see.)  Feel free to link videos of the lines in use if your review.  I would've done it myself but my computer has not been brought to repair shop yet.

This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. In order to use this mod in Knights of the Old Republic 2, you must install JC's Player Soundset Restoration for K2 in KotOR2 before this mod. That being said: As this mod is strictly designed for KotOR1 and not for KotOR2, any sounds that do not end of playing what you expected should not be reported to me.

    Installation:
    -----------------
You'll not be dropping these into your Override like my usual mods.  This time you have new steps to follow.

    1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them.  (I recommend a folder on your desktop but you do you!)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder.
    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.
Note: If you're using the mod on Steam this quote may prove helpful.
“I threw the files in Streamsound. I managed to fix it by verifying game files through Steam and reinstalling the mod though!”
    So . . . uh . . keep that in mind.

    Uninstall:
    --------------
Remove my files from the Streamsounds folder. Put the original files that you saved elsewhere back in the Streamsounds folder.

  22. [K1] Imperial Agent (Male) - PC Replacement Soundset

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 08 FEB 2019

    Description:
So . . . have you felt I’ve been giving a bit too much love to the light side of the Force with last few sound sets?  Fair enough.
Now you’ll be able to play with a character with some character - the smooth, suave Imperial Agent from SWTOR.  Wreak havoc . . . but with some measure of subtlety. And always with style.
This mod is only for Knights of the Old Republic 1.  Knights of the Old Republic 2 - although it has the voice files for the male and female PC - that game doesn't have them activated, rendering the Exile mute. 24. [K1] PC Replacement Voices (Kira, DS Jaesa, LS Jaesa)

PC Replacement Voices (Kira, DS Jaesa, LS Jaesa)

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 25 DEC 2018
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. [This mod will not work in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. See Description for more details.]
RECOMMENDED ADDITIONAL MODS: "TOR Ports: Kira Carsen  Female Player Head for K1", "TOR Ports: Jaesa Willsaam Female Player Head for K1" - both by @DarthParametric

    Description:
    ------------------
This mod's creation was in response to a request by @Untold Prophecy so give him a shout on his request thread if you liked his idea.

A few notes: Not all of the lines will play as that's how the game is set up.  However, I've filled out as many of the options that I showed in the female PC voice lines document that I could. This also enables you - the player - to go through the lines and decide which is the best one to use. Options, people!  Who doesn't like options?

Some more notes: There are no Jaesa or Kira lines for some of the mine lines that I could find so I included blank files so you won't hear the original PC character's voice.  I didn't replace the injury sounds either as it won't make a noticeable difference.  (One scream is much like another, IMHO.)  There were also a few where all three options use the same lines but as only one of those three play in game, you won't notice a difference. (It was easier copying one line to all three options than figuring out which one plays in game - which I can't do because my computer isn't working.)

    -----------------
There are three folders in the package: one for Kira Carsen, one for light side Jaesa Willsaam, and one for dark side Jaesa Willsaam.  Choose one (and only one) of these soundsets and you can't use multiple soundsets for one character.  Once you've made your choice, follow these instructions.
    1) Move the original KotOR1 files that share the file names in this mod to a place you can find them.  (I recommend a folder on your desktop.)  Those files will be located in the "Streamsounds" folder where you have KotOR1 installed.
    2) Extract the files from the 7z folder. Grab the new files from that extracted folder and put them in Streamsounds folder.
Note: If you're using the mod on Steam, this quote may prove helpful.

    Uninstall:
    --------------
Remove the aforementioned contents from your Override folder.

  25. [K1] Replacement Logo for KotOR Menu Screen

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 14 DEC 2021
    UPDATED RELEASE: 20 DEC 2021
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1

    Description:
    In before the inevitable request…
As I just put up a TSL logo texture mod up yesterday, here’s one for the original KOTOR. This is my attempt to bring the logo in line with modern standards. This texture is sized at 2048 by 2048 (yes, you read that correctly) so it should definitely be slightly crisper than the original. The original texture was sized at 256 by 256.
Someone that shall remain nameless was inquiring about using my mod so they could extend the middle bar out to the end like the original menu logo did.  I have done this.  Additionally, the coloring on this “long bar” version was slightly de-saturated to more in mine with the original in-game logo.
For those not keeping up . . .
Short Bar Version: That’s the logo that you’ll see on the box art, the game discs, and the Prima Guide Book
Long Bar Version: A variant version of the logo where the bar that contains “Of The” stretches to the end letters rather being nestled in the center between the large “K” and large “S”
A reminder: this whole upload was originally a gag just so I could avoid taking a request in the future.  Looks like the joke’s on me.

    Before modding (actual size):

After (actual size of Short Bar version):

After (actual size of Long Bar version):

If you find the difference to be pleasing, please let me know in the comments.

    Installation:
With more options, there inevitably comes a longer instruction section.
First, choose which version you’ll be going with: Short Bar or Long Bar.  That’s where you’ll be grabbing textures from.
If you’re using an original version of KOTOR – that is you’re not using a widescreen mod (such as or UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “logo_sw_02.tga” file from the “Standard (Vanilla) Resolutions” sub folder from either the “Short Bar” folder or the “Long Bar folder”
If you’re using KOTOR with either UniWS, Flawless Widescreen, or Aspyr's natively widescreen version) – then you’ll want to place the “logo_sw_02.tga” file from the “For those using Widescreen fixes” sub folder from either the “Short Bar” folder or the “Long Bar” folder.

    Uninstallation:
Remove the TGA file from your Override folder.  Delete it.

    Known Bugs:
    None known at this time.

    Legal Disclaimer:
All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc., I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop or to NexusMods. Modders that request permission to use my mods and don’t do so will have my permission withdrawn after a period of one year after I originally granted (i.e. permission and use is time sensitive.)
